Joy!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's a lot I feel I need to let you know about.

It's not about what's happened in the entire world.  It's about how busy I've been!

Even though I won't discuss everything that has made me busy for quite a while now.  I will let you know about how busy I was last Saturday, November 10, 2018.

A couple who have been friends of mine for a while, got married that day.  I had been invited to their wedding that was happening about noon.

It was truly a wonderful wedding!  I was so happy for them!  And, I prayed God would bless them!

Even though everyone was staying to be with them for a while, I couldn't.

Why?

I had to go to my daughter, P's home... because it was my grandson, Z's birthday!

Yes, we spent some time together!  It was truly a fun time!  Of course, we all enjoyed spending time with Z, having birthday cake, and watching him receive his birthday gifts and cards.

Thank you, so much!  I truly adored spending time with my family members who were there!

Then, I had to return to where the wedding happened earlier that day.

Why?

Another couple, who have been my friends for quite a while, were also getting married!

Their wedding was so wonderful!  Truly adoring!

Not just seeing them getting married.  But, my friend who was the bride, had her sisters come to Windsor, to come to the wedding.  One of her sisters has been my friend for quite a while, but had left town to go live with their sister, after her husband died.  So, even though I missed seeing my friend, it was truly a blessing being able to see her!

My heart was truly touched.  And, I truly felt joy.

Thinking of that, made me think of Psalms 16:9, "Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.".

Amen!  Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

Even though it was a wonderful day, I was exhausted.  Worn out.

I truly needed rest.  And, truly spoke with God, regarding everything I felt I needed to speak with Him about.

Not just as prayer, but by talking with Him.

For this, I was thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
