Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I feel there is something I need to discuss.
It is something that affects some people. Not everyone.
It's something that affects Christians. But, not everyone who considers themselves being Christian.
What is it?
Persecution.
If you do not understand what persecution is, please click on this Wikipedia link entitled, Persecution: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution.
If you clicked on the link and read the article, you will have been able to see what was stated (I copied/pasted a bit):
Indeed, in many countries of the world today, religious persecution is a Human Rights problem.
The article also stated (I copied/pasted):
According to the International Society for Human Rights, up to 80% of all acts of persecution are directed against people of the Christian faith.[7]
Oooeee!
How truthful that is of what God told us would happen to any of us Christians who live godly.
Just as we read, in 2 Timothy 3:12, "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.".
Amen! Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Are you ever persecuted?
If not, you are probably not a born again Christian, who has gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and who has a relationship with Him, after repenting from sin... and does all you can for Him.
Does this mean that no one should become a born again Christian? No.
Everyone needs to become a born again Christian, for as we read in the Bible, anyone who is not a born again Christian, shall not spend eternity Heaven, when their life ends here on earth. Instead, they will end up in Hell, separated from God... with NO chance of escape.
Please realize that even if we experience persecution... God helps us, every day!
So, if you haven't yet come to Christ, do it today.
Tomorrow... may be too late.
Until next time...
