It's not something regarding me. It's also not something that applies to every person, here in Canada.
Hmmm... I feel I need to share an article.
Here is a link you can click on to read the article that thenectarine.ca posted that is entitled, Joshua Boyle Accused of Abuse and Ideological Extremism by Wife: https://thenectarine.ca/politics/joshua-boyle-accused-of-abuse-and-ideological-extremism-by-wife/.
Hopefully, you clicked on the link, to read the entire article. I can't share with you everything that was stated, but I will share a bit (I copied/pasted):
According to recently unsealed court documents, the wife of Joshua Boyle has gone on record to accuse her husband of abuse, neglect, and extremist ideology during the five years which they were kept captive in Afganistan and Pakistan by the Taliban.
“J.B. (Joshua Boyle) regularly threatened to kill me by setting me on fire,” Coleman says in an affidavit filed in June.
The U.S.-born Coleman, 32, is now in Pennsylvania with her three children, all of whom were born in captivity, after being granted temporary sole custody by an Ottawa family court judge on July 23.
It also stated (I copied/pasted):
Zaynab is the sister of Omar Khadr and the eldest daughter of Ahmed Said Khadr, a member of Osama bin Laden’s inner circle who died in a fire fight with Pakistani forces in October 2003.
While this specific case is interesting, it is important to also note that Boyle has also been arrested on 15 charges, including eight counts of assault and two counts of sexual assault. According to the RCMP,Boyle began committing serious crimes almost immediately upon his return to Canada.
With so much new information on the Boyle family, another aspect of this case becomes extremely important.Prime Minister Justin Trudeau did meet the Boyle family when they were released and did receive some level of flack from opposition groups, with many arguing the Prime Minister must have better judgement, than to meet an individual with previous connections to extremism.
As this case continues to develop it seems the criticism levelled against the Prime Minister’s decision to meet with the Boyle family so early on after their rescue, may have been far more valid than previously understood.
Sigh...
I must admit, I feel so badly for this woman, who has suffered and been threatened by her husband.
Is this uncommon? No. It can happen with some couples. But, it mainly happens with Muslim couples.
Why? Because the Islamic Sharia Law allows husbands to treat wives like that. It makes it legal for those Muslim men to hurt, abuse and/or murder any of their wives, in addition to other people.
To me, this is truly upsetting. Not just because of what Muslim wives experience... even though it can be awful.
It also upsets me, because Muslims who want and are attempting to receive Sharia Law as being lawful for them, here in Canada, and in other countries, shows that they truly do not want to live by our country's laws. Plus, they obviously want to be able to hurt, attack, abuse and/or murder people.
If and when issues like this happen, I believe that the person involved who murder others, will experience God's wrath. After all, God has told us in His Word, the Bible, that no one should murder anyone.
So, He will experience anger towards that type of sinful person.
Even though we can't change anyone in their way of thinking, God can. He wants everyone to do what He wants us to do, and expects that we will have His righteousness.
Just as we read, in James 1:19, "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.".
Amen! Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
We need to help people understand what God wants.
Please understand, the righteousness of God... will only happen to those who belong to Him. For then, those who truly belong to Him, will also read His Word, the Bible and will learn what He wants from us and will do for us.
I belong to Him.
Do you?
All you need to do, is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and you will gain salvation and everlasting life, because you belong to Him, then.
If you haven't yet done this, do it today.
Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...
