A few days ago, I received an e-mail message from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ). I decided to share it with you, today. Here's the e-mail message I received:
American Pastor Andrew Brunson has just been freed.
After more than two years of wrongful detainment in Turkey, American Pastor Andrew Brunson has just been released.
Pastor Andrew was first arrested on October 7, 2016, and was later charged with “Christianization,” facing 35 years in prison. He has since undergone multiple delays in his trial, culminating in his most recent trial date today.
We can now confirm he is free and will be en route to the U.S. later today. This is a massive victory.
For nearly two years, we at the ACLJ have represented Pastor Andrew, taking his case to Capitol Hill, the White House, and directly to the U.N. urging international intervention to free Pastor Andrew.
We are grateful to President Trump for his direct involvement in working to secure Pastor Andrew’s release. As Pastor Andrew said today, “This is the day our family has been praying for – I am delighted to be on my way home to the United States.”
Thank you to all the ACLJ members for your support and prayers for Pastor Andrew and his family.
We look forward to seeing Pastor Andrew reunited with his loved ones back home in America very soon.

Just so you know, I also saw an article that I think you should read.
Here is a link to the article by lifesitenews.com that was entitled, US Christian pastor freed from Turkish jail, thanks to President Trump's 'key' leadership: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/breaking-us-christian-pastor-freed-from-turkish-jail-thanks-to-president-tr?fbclid=IwAR3divudrpFKGjPZ8QPGMtH0XDrqSdhSoFsyMYMnUEDIxwY_UCJz9N1VupY
Here is a bit of what the article stated (I copied/pasted):
When I first received information about what this article stated July 25, 2018, and what I had heard at that time from ACLJ, my heart still felt broken. After all, even though Pastor Andrew Brunson had been released from prison, he would still be under house arrest... in Turkey. After all, that's where he had lived for a while, by doing work for our God.
So, I kept on praying. And, am so very happy now, that ACLJ e-mailed me again, and let me know that Pastor Andrew Brunson, was not just released, but was able to return to USA.
To me, it's wonderful that my prayer, and the prayer of other people for Pastor Andrew Brunson was answered.
Thinking of that, made me think of Matthew 21:21-22, "Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.".
Amen! Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
