Halloween...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be addressing an issue.

It's something that not everyone agrees with.

What is it?

Halloween!

When my children were young, I allowed Halloween to be celebrated.  :'(  Now, I don't. :)

Years ago, even though I was worshiping, I never learned that no one should celebrate Halloween.

Does this mean that every church group teaches everything that people need to know?  Absolutely, not!

However, when I began worshiping with a church group that not only preached, but taught us what we needed to know, I found out that Halloween was actually Satanic.

In case you haven't heard about it, you may want to click on this link, to watch/listen to this YouTube video entitled, The TRUTH About HALLOWEEN Satan Doesn't Want You To Know!:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NjLsuSJOMw&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR2UXZJfRwZMkT3kh_vYKmuv-ZX-6wlMMgCKr-H5p4p7SZLsr6KG1DmvPNQ.

As adults we should never celebrate Halloween.  Nor should we ever allow children to celebrate Halloween.

Why?  Because, we would then do what God wants us to do.  But, also... realize that if you do celebrate Halloween, you will be hurting others in this world and leading people astray.  Not just adults, but also children.

Thinking of that, made me think of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.".

Amen!  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

If you train up children in the way they should go, they will realize that God is the most important person in their life.  And, they will then never turn away from Him.

For this, I will pray... for my family, for my friends, for all people I know... and also for you and your family, even though I may not yet know you.

If you do what God requested, then He will also bless you.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

H.B. D & W! Miracle! But, Pray...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I would like to let you know that today, is my grandson, D's birthday, and his girlfriend, W's birthday!  It's amazing to me that they both have the same day as their birthday.  Even so, I wish both D and W... Happy Birthday!  And, I'll look forward to celebrating with you!  Happy Birthday!

Here on LwL, there's something I feel I need to let you know about.

To me it is 100% positive, even though it's regarding something negative.

What was it?

Please read this article, by clicking on this link from godtv.com that is entitled, A Miracle in Indonesia. Pilot Says he 'Heard God's Voice' and Saved Hundredshttps://godtv.com/a-miracle-in-indonesia-pilot-heard-gods-voice-and-saved-hundreds/.

Did you click on the link and read that article?  Hopefully, you did.  If you didn't, you'll be able to read what was stated, for I'm sharing it for you (I copied/pasted):

God's voice in the midst of tragedy is awe-inspiring – a truly miraculous intervention!

On September 28, 2018, a 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit Palu, Indonesia, taking hundreds of lives and wreaking considerable damage to the region.   However, in the midst of this heartbreak, one pilot testified to a miracle that saved his passengers’ lives when he heard God’s audible voice.

Captain Ricosetta Mafella of Batik Air revealed why his plane took off three minutes earlier than its scheduled flight time from Palu Airport.

According to the reports, from what he shared with a church congregation in Jakarta, Captain Mafella had been feeling uneasy all day long. He felt so disturbed that he sang worship songs the whole flight from Ujung Pandang to Palu. His Muslim Co-Pilot even jestingly suggested he could make a CD of worship songs.

“Usually I only hum, but that day I wanted to praise the Lord as best I could,” he said.

When they arrived in the skies above Palu Airport, he heard a voice in his heart telling him to circle again before landing.  The airport is surrounded by two mountain ranges, and pilots have to be extra careful while landing.  For this reason, he was reminded of Psalm 23:4 that says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Fortunately, they safely landed at Palu airport, but he had this feeling that he needed to hurry.  So he led the crew to take a 20 minute break and depart for Jakarta via Ujung Pandang again.  He felt an urgency inside that he even requested to leave 3 minutes ahead of schedule.

After the air controller from the Control Tower (Anthonius Gunawan Agung who sadly lost his life) granted him permission for an early take-off, they immediately set the pace. He confessed that he broke the flight procedures and took over the co-pilot’s role just to speed up the plane in the process of take-off.

He wondered why, but his hand kept on holding on to the lever. His co-pilot looked fearful when he brazenly did this as the plane’s body was strangely swaying left and right. Right then, unbeknownst to them, an earthquake had hit Palu.

Captain Mafella tried to communicate to the Control Tower several minutes later, but he received no response.  To his shock, a peculiar phenomenon was happening below as he looked down.  The sea water on the coast was forming a huge hole and the foundation of the seabed could be seen!

When the plane arrived at Ujung Pandang, he heard the news that a tsunami had hit Palu.  Moreover, the official in the control tower who he spoke to, had died shortly after he had made sure that the last plane had taken off safely before the earthquake hit.

Our prayers go out to the families

Captain Mafella emphasized how crucial it is to be sensitive to the voice of God. According to his testimony, if he hadn’t taken off three minutes earlier, he would not have been able to save the 140 passengers, because the asphalt on the landing strip was moving up and down like a curtain blowing in the wind.

He concluded his testimony with a vital lesson.  He says that whatever happens we must be calm and avoid panic so that we can clearly hear God’s instructions coming to us through the Holy Spirit.

In the midst of this chaos in Palu, Indonesia, we can learn a great lesson from the testimony of Captain Mafella.  Also, our prayers go out to the families of the victims. We pray that the Holy Spirit would comfort them in their grief and that God would provide for all who have lost their homes.

Wow!  How amazing!

What a miracle!

Thank You, Lord!

Reading this made me decide to use the same Bible verse that was stated on the article... Psalm 23:4, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.".

Amen!  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Please... join me in prayer.

Pray... for everyone in Indonesia, who was affected by the earthquake, and may have lost family and/or friends, plus everything they live with.  Also, pray for everyone affected in other countries after receiving an earthquake.

Pray... for anyone/everyone in Indonesia, and other countries, who is not yet a born again Christian, to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ to gain salvation and everlasting life, for when their lives end here on earth, they will then spend eternity with God.  Plus, they will be blessed and comforted by Him.

Pray... for Indonesia and other countries to recover from the earthquake(s) that have happened.

Thank you for joining me in prayer.

May God bless you.

Demanding? Please, Pray...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about something.

It's something I've discussed in the past.  However, I feel I need to let you know the latest information I've received.

Again, I received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here's what I received (I copied/pasted):

Lynn,

Fuming Islamic radicals are demanding Asia Bibi be hanged.

They are even threatening the justices with violence if they do not execute the Christian mom of 5.

Pakistan's Supreme Court could rule on the appeal of her death sentence for her Christian faith at any time.

Bibi was convicted under Pakistan's harsh blasphemy laws. Her trial was fraught with errors and even the justices have demanded real evidence from the prosecution.

Yet Islamic extremists aren't interested in facts or the lack of proof.

They're enraged at the very possibility of this Christian's life being spared. They're taking to the streets, demanding her death and threatening consequences - even against the justices - if she's released.

Asia Bibi has asked for prayer.

We must pray, but we must also act. Time is running out. Asia Bibi has committed no crime. She should not die.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

Sigh..

As you just read, time for Asia Bibi, is running out.  Even though she committed no crime. And, just as the e-mail message stated, I believe she should not die.

We know that we need to do all we can for her.  After all, Asia Bibi is our Christian sister, who offered some Islamic women a drink of water, but was falsely arrested, convicted and imprisoned.

If you are able to sign the petition, please do so.  If you're not able to sign the petition, it's okay.

Pray... and continue to pray.

Just as we read, in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing.".

Amen!  Pray without ceasing... is what God wants us to do.

So, please... pray.

If you do, may God bless you.

Until next time...

I Am Not Alone...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I'll discuss, today.

Do you have any idea what it is I'll discuss?

If you know me, you'll probably realize that since today is SONday, we need to worship.

Of course, as I've mentioned in the past, I also enjoy worshiping with music.

Here is music by Kari Jobe that is entitled, I Am Not Alone; please click on this link to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbbCGqK6uNc&app=desktop.  The lyrics are below.

I Am Not Alone

When I walk through deep waters
I know that You will be with me
When I'm standing in the fire
I will not be overcome
Through the valley of the shadow
I will not fear
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
In the midst of deep sorrow
I see Your light is breaking through
The dark of night will not overtake me
I am pressing into You
Lord, You fight my every battle
Oh, and I will not fear
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
You amaze me
Redeem me
You call me as Your own
You amaze me
Redeem me
You call me as Your own
You amaze me
Redeem me
You call me as Your own
You amaze me
Redeem me
You call me as Your own
You're my strength
You're my defender
You're my refuge in the storm
Through these trials
You've always been faithful
You bring healing to my soul
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
I am not alone
I am not alone
You will go before me
You will never leave me
Amen!
He is with us.  We are not alone.  As long as we have gained salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

He loves us.  And, nothing will separate us from Him.

Thinking of this, made me think of Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.".

Amen!  I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As you can tell, I love Him.

Do you love Him?

If you do, then you will never be separated from Him.

Praise God!  Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

H.B. A! & Might Have...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I'd like to let you know that today is a special day.  It's my grandson, A's birthday!  I'm looking forward to seeing you, A... for then I can again wish you... Happy Birthday!

Today, I'll let you know about something I've done, recently.

I've watched movies!

Here are few movies I've watched:

*  Who's Minding the Mint?, starring Jim Hutton, Dorothy Provine and other actors.  If you'd like to check out this American comedy film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who%27s_Minding_the_Mint%3F.  Even though I didn't find this funny, I enjoyed it.

Fatal Instinct, starring Armand Assante, Sherilyn Fenn and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatal_Instinct.  Even though this movie had sinfulness in it, I didn't think it was funny.  Yet, I watched it

A Fish Called Wanda, starring John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis and other actors.  Would you like to check out this British-American heist comedy film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Fish_Called_Wanda.  Even though this movie had robbery in it, I watched it.

Dirty Work, starring Norm Macdonald, Jack Warden and other actors.  Please click on this link, if you'd like to check out this American buddy comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirty_Work_(1998_film).  I must admit that I watched this movie, even though negative things were done.

*  Soul Plane, starring Tom Arnold, Kevin Hart and other actors.  Feel free to click on this link, if you'd like to check out this American comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soul_Plane.  Even though I didn't find this movie funny, I watched it.

Wow!  To me, it's amazing that I don't find most comedy films to be funny.

Why?

Well, in many films there is sinfulness, lies, people hurting others, and more things that I find are not funny.  To me, this is sort of like what happens in our world, in many places.

To me, we can consider it, troubles in life.

Thinking of that, made me think of John 16:33, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.".

Amen!  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Yes, tribulation refers to troubles.  And, in the world, many troubles happen to many people.

However, today's Bible verse let us know that Jesus said that in Him, we might have peace, even though we shall have troubles.

To me, it's wonderful that He also said that we need to be of good cheer, for He overcame the world.

All we need to do is trust in Jesus.

As I've said in the past, when we trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, we gain salvation and everlasting life.  When we belong to Him then, He helps us and is always with us.

Jesus overcame the world, and He helps us who belong to Him, to also overcome troubles/trials that we experience in this world.

For this, I'm truly thankful!

Thank You, Lord!

Understand...

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will discuss something.

It's not something regarding me.  It's also not something that applies to every person, here in Canada.

Hmmm... I feel I need to share an article.

Here is a link you can click on to read the article that thenectarine.ca posted that is entitled, Joshua Boyle Accused of Abuse and Ideological Extremism by Wifehttps://thenectarine.ca/politics/joshua-boyle-accused-of-abuse-and-ideological-extremism-by-wife/.

Hopefully, you clicked on the link, to read the entire article.  I can't share with you everything that was stated, but I will share a bit (I copied/pasted):

According to recently unsealed court documents, the wife of Joshua Boyle has gone on record to accuse her husband of abuse, neglect, and extremist ideology during the five years which they were kept captive in Afganistan and Pakistan by the Taliban.

“J.B. (Joshua Boyle) regularly threatened to kill me by setting me on fire,” Coleman says in an affidavit filed in June.

The U.S.-born Coleman, 32, is now in Pennsylvania with her three children, all of whom were born in captivity, after being granted temporary sole custody by an Ottawa family court judge on July 23.

It also stated (I copied/pasted):

Zaynab is the sister of Omar Khadr and the eldest daughter of Ahmed Said Khadr, a member of Osama bin Laden’s inner circle who died in a fire fight with Pakistani forces in October 2003.
While this specific case is interesting, it is important to also note that Boyle has also been arrested on 15 charges, including eight counts of assault and two counts of sexual assault. According to the RCMP,Boyle began committing serious crimes almost immediately upon his return to Canada.
With so much new information on the Boyle family, another aspect of this case becomes extremely important.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau did meet the Boyle family when they were released and did receive some level of flack from opposition groups, with many arguing the Prime Minister must have better judgement, than to meet an individual with previous connections to extremism.

As this case continues to develop it seems the criticism levelled against the Prime Minister’s decision to meet with the Boyle family so early on after their rescue, may have been far more valid than previously understood.

Sigh...

I must admit, I feel so badly for this woman, who has suffered and been threatened by her husband.

Is this uncommon?  No.  It can happen with some couples.  But, it mainly happens with Muslim couples.

Why?  Because the Islamic Sharia Law allows husbands to treat wives like that.  It makes it legal for those Muslim men to hurt, abuse and/or murder any of their wives, in addition to other people.

To me, this is truly upsetting.  Not just because of what Muslim wives experience... even though it can be awful.

It also upsets me, because Muslims who want and are attempting to receive Sharia Law as being lawful for them, here in Canada, and in other countries, shows that they truly do not want to live by our country's laws.  Plus, they obviously want to be able to hurt, attack, abuse and/or murder people.

If and when issues like this happen, I believe that the person involved who murder others, will experience God's wrath.  After all, God has told us in His Word, the Bible, that no one should murder anyone

So, He will experience anger towards that type of sinful person.

Even though we can't change anyone in their way of thinking, God can.  He wants everyone to do what He wants us to do, and expects that we will have His righteousness.

Just as we read, in James 1:19, "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.".

Amen!  Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:  For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

We need to help people understand what God wants.

Please understand, the righteousness of God... will only happen to those who belong to Him.  For then, those who truly belong to Him, will also read His Word, the Bible and will learn what He wants from us and will do for us.

I belong to Him.

Do you?

All you need to do, is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and you will gain salvation and everlasting life, because you belong to Him, then.

If you haven't yet done this, do it today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

$4.5 Billion Canadian Dollars?!

There is something I feel I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not something regarding me, personally.  Nor you, personally.

However, it will affect every Canadian.

What is it?

Our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, lied to everyone.  And, affected each taxpayer... here in Canada.

Here is a YouTube video entitled, A$4.5 Billion Dollar Disaster | Trans Mountain Pipelinehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=133&v=mvE-Ial5ZWU.

Justin Trudeau, is a Liberal, and he let everyone know in Canada that he was going to have our government purchase for $4.5 Billion Canadian Dollars, the Trans Mountain Pipeline system that was to be installed throughout Canada.

Justin Trudeau did purchase it.

Did he have it installed throughout Canada?  NO!!

Instead, Justin Trudeau cancelled it.  So, the Trans Mountain Pipeline will not be installed throughout Canada.

Yet... we taxpayers were ripped off, for Justin Trudeau paid the CAD $4.5 Billion Dollars that taxpayers had paid our Canadian federal government that Justin Trudeau is in charge of.

And, many people lost their jobs.

So, Canada and our Canadians have truly been hurt, in many ways.

Sigh...

To me, Justin Trudeau is truly a liar.  After all, he has not only done this, but he has also done other things to hurt us Canadians, and our country, as I've previously discussed, so he is very hurtful.

Of course, Justin Trudeau is also not yet a born again Christian.  So, I believe that God will deal with him, either while he is alive... or after his life ends here on earth.

Just as we read, in Revelation 21:8, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.".

Amen!  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Yes, Justin Trudeau, being an unbeliever, who is abominable/unpleasant, who has lied, will suffer in Hell... which is described in today's Bible verse, as the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

This truly means that if Justin Trudeau... and/or anyone else, who is not a born again Christian, will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with NO chance of escape.

However, if Justin Trudeau... and/or anyone else who is not yet a born again Christian, trusts in/believes upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, he/they will gain salvation and everlasting life and will be with Him in Heaven, after their life ends here on earth.

So, please... join me in prayer.

Please... pray that when Justin Trudeau will no longer want to hurt Canada, and Canadians.

Please... pray that Justin Trudeau will not be re-elected.

Please... pray that Justin Trudeau and/or any other unbelievers, will become a true believer in Christ and will be blessed by Him.

Thank you for praying with me.

May God bless you.

Err? No!

There's something I feel I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Even though our law here in Canada was changed regarding Marijuana/Cannabis last week, by our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, I'll share with you an article that is not Canadian.

The article that contains a Fox video as well, I am sharing with you, is by godfatherpolitics.com and is entitled, Car Accidents Soar in States with Legal Marijuana Lawshttps://godfatherpolitics.com/car-accidents-soar-in-states-with-legal-marijuana-laws/?fbclid=IwAR1nmSw_-Ayw5tRgbekf-QIMbGA_kqUQ7rTMGrRe3zLW64Y7xMsB8iIlP8g.

Did you read the article and the video?  I'm not sharing the entire article, but am sharing part of it (I copied/pasted):

A review of states that have legalized recreational marijuana finds that car accidents have skyrocketed.
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and Highway Loss Data Institute released a new study Thursday showing an unintended consequence to legalizing pot — but maybe one that should surprise no one.
“Drugged driving is quickly becoming an epidemic as Big Marijuana continues to spread its false promises that pot is safe,” Dr. Kevin Sabet, president of Smart Approaches to Marijuana, said. “These studies prove that is not the case. People are paying with their lives, and it’s evident the problem isn’t going away.”
Sigh...

It is upsetting to me, reading what is happening, in USA.  However, I am also heartbroken about the fact that as I mentioned last week, here on LwL, the same thing will happen now, here in Canada, since our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau made it legal for the use of Marijuana/Cannabis.

Some people thought that it was just becoming legal to be used, for medical use.

That's not true.

Why?  Because, in the past, Marijuana/Cannabis has been used for people medically, here in Canada.  How do I know this?  A relative of mine, has been treated that way by a doctor.

So, please understand that whoever uses the Marijuana/Cannabis drug to get high with, they may end up doing drugged driving, just as we read in today's article I shared with you.

Should fellow Christians fall into temptation, to use Marijuana/Cannabis, not for medical use, but to get high?  I don't believe so.

Thinking of this, made me think of James 1:12-16, "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:
14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.".

Amen!  Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.  Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.  Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Yes, many who are Christian endureth temptation.  However, those of us who truly belong to our Lord, are not tempted by Him.

If the temptation is dealt with by using the drug, then it shows Him that those people are sinning, that could bring death.

So, as we read in today's Bible verses, do not err/sin, my beloved brethren.

Just look to God, and He will help you.

For this, I am truly thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Sad, Praise & Please Pray...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) blog entry, I would like to let you know that today is a day when my heart feels broken.  Why?  Today, is the anniversary of my dad's death.  Yes, I think of him, and feel grief.  After all... I miss him... and love him.

Something happened that I feel I need to let you know about.  It's not regarding me, or my family.

It's regarding some information I received from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), once again.

Yes, I received another e-mail from ACLJ.  And, it truly touched my heart, for it was a message that is regarding someone other than who we've been trying to help, who has been hurt.

Here is a copy of the e-mail I received (I copied/pasted):

Lynn,

It's an ultimatum: Boko Haram has promised to kill a Christian teen held captive this month.

A 15-year-old Christian girl - a child - was abducted and is being held captive.

Boko Haram - the Nigerian jihadist army pledged to ISIS - stormed a village and abducted 110 schoolgirls. Five were killed. 104 were eventually freed.

Yet one brave teen named Leah Sharibu remains a prisoner because she will not renounce her Christian faith.

Nigerian Christians are being targeted, abused, and murdered by sadistic jihadist militias like Boko Haram. Their government seems unable or unwilling to stop this deadly persecution.

We must take action to save Leah Sharibu and defend our Christian brothers and sisters.

We've delivered a critical oral intervention at the U.N. on behalf of Nigeria's Christians.
Today we're sending a critical legal advocacy letter to the government of Nigeria demanding it act to free Leah.

Christian children must be protected. Leah Sharibu must be brought home safely. Now she urgently needs YOU before it's too late.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

Sigh...

If you are American, please click on the link for the petition, and sign it.  Thank you for wanting to help that child who is being hurt and imprisoned.

This is truly upsetting to me, and has made me sad.  After all, many of our Christian brothers and sisters are suffering big time!

Yesterday, you also read about how ACLJ e-mailed me, regarding Asia Bibi, again.  But afterwards, I received this e-mail that truly touched my heart again, since this message talked about Leah Sharibu, who needs protection... from Muslims who are partners of the group... ISIS.

Even though it was upsetting to me, as I'm sure it is to family and friends of anyone suffering by Muslims who do anything they can to hurt them, I pray to God.

After all, He let us know that we who belong to Him, will have fiery trials in our life.

Just as we read, in 1 Peter 4:12, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:".

Amen!   Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:.

Please, join me in prayer for Leah Sharibu.

Although I have not suffered like some Christians have been suffering by Muslims, I've had fiery trials in my life.

Have you?

If you have, I pray that you've come to Christ.  I pray that you've gained salvation and everlasting life, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

After all, He provides for us and helps us through troubles and/or trials in our lives, when we belong to Him... forever.  This makes me praise Him!

After all, for what He does for us, I'm thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Please!!!

There's something I want to share with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's regarding someone who truly needs prayer and help.

I received an e-mail from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), and I decided to share it with you (I copied/pasted):

Lynn,

This situation just got worse for Christian mom Asia Bibi.

As we await the Pakistani Supreme Court's decision on the appeal of her death sentence, angry Islamic radicals are demanding she be hanged.

They are threatening the justices if they do not execute this Christian mom of 5.

Last week, Pakistan's Supreme Court heard the final appeal for Asia Bibi's life.

Wow!

To me, it's terrible that Muslims would want Asia Bibi to be hanged/murdered because she's Christian, even though she didn't do anything to hurt anyone.  After all, Asia Bibi has been imprisoned for many years now, due to having offered water to drink to Muslim women who were working outside and it was extremely hot weather.  The Muslim women had her arrested, because she was Christian and not Muslim, and they hadn't wanted her to offer them water to drink.

Asia Bibi truly needs prayer.

Thinking of this, made me think of 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing.".

Amen! Pray without ceasing.

We all need to pray for Asia Bibi, continuously.

I pray... without ceasing.

Please... also sign the petition by clicking on the link, in the message.

Even though people from other countries, like me... was able to sign the petitions in the past, it seems that only Americans can now sign the petitions.

If you can, sign the petition, please sign it.

Also, please pray for Asia Bibi.

If you do, I believe God will bless you.

Sometimes? Always!

Today, is a special day, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Being our day of worship, I do go to worship with my church family.

However, I also enjoy using music to worship.

Here is music by Gaither Vocal Band entitled, Sometimes It Takes A Mountain; please click on this link, so you can listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYsvV-Nz9j8.  The lyrics are below.

Sometimes It Takes A Mountain

I faced a mountain,
That I never faced before
That's why I'm calling on the Lord
I know it's been awhile,
Lord please hear my prayer
I need you like I never have before.

Sometimes it takes a mountain
Sometimes a troubled sea
Sometimes it takes a desert
To get a hold of me
Your Love is so much stronger
Then whatever troubles me
Sometimes it takes a mountain
To trust you and believe

Far from you Jesus
I thought I could control
Whatever life would throw my way
But this I will admit
Has brought me to my knees

I need you Lord and I'm not ashamed to say
Sometimes it takes a mountain
Sometimes a troubled sea
Sometimes it takes a desert
To get a hold of me

Your Love is so much stronger
Then whatever troubles me
Sometimes it takes a mountain
To trust you and believe

Sometimes it takes a mountain
To trust you and believe

Sometimes it takes a mountain
Sometimes a troubled sea
Sometimes it takes a desert
To get a hold of me

Your Love is so much stronger
Then whatever troubles me
Sometimes it takes a mountain
To trust you and believe

Sometimes it takes a mountain
To trust you and believe

Amen!

Trusting Him, is so very important.  And, so is believing upon Him.

Not just sometimes... but, always!

Just as we read, in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.".

Amen!  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

How wonderful it is, that we cannot perish, and have everlasting life, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Thank You, Lord!

Do All...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about some things.

It's not about anything that happened to me.  Nor, is it anything that relates to other people in the world, in different countries.

It's about what I've done.  Yes, I've watched movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

*  Rocky, starring Sylvester Stallone, Talia Shire and other actors.  If you would like to check out this American sports drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky.  I enjoyed the movie.

Rocky II, starring Sylvester Stallone, Burt Young and other actors.  To check out this American sports drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_II.  Since it was a movie that was like a continuation of the first one, I enjoyed it.

Rocky III, starring Sylvester Stallone, Carl Weathers and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American sports drama film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_III.  As another continuation of the previous movies, I enjoyed it.

Rocky IV, starring Sylvester Stallone, Brigitte Nielson and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American sports drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_IV.  Yes, I enjoyed it, since it was like another continuation from the previous movies.

Rocky V, starring Sylvester Stallone, Tommy Morrison and other actors.  Please, click on this link, if you want to check out this American sports drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocky_V.  As I'm sure you realize, I enjoyed this movie.

Wow!  Imagine all these similar movies!  Just so you know, I've seen most of them, more than once.

Does this mean I enjoy sports films?

Not always.  Especially, since I don't really like boxing, because I don't like seeing people hit each other.

However, I like Sylvester Stallone as an actor.  He works hard, and has trained himself in many ways.  Plus much discussion was done, and he didn't have heart problems, even though he had to work hard physically during the movies.

Thinking of that, made me think of Philippians 2:14, "Do all things without murmurings and disputings:".

Amen!  Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

Hopefully, Sylvester Stallone is Christian.  I don't know for sure, but hopefully he has trusted in/believed upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  For if he has, then he will have gained salvation and everlasting life.

Just as I have done.

Have you?

If you have not gained salvation, then when your life ends here on earth, you will not see me in Heaven, with God.  Instead, you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with NO chance of escape.

Come to Christ, today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Pakistan?!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will share something with you.

It's something that I feel everyone needs to know.  Even if they aren't a member of Facebook (FB).  Even though that is where I read the information I feel you need to know.

The picture with information was posted on FB by a group page called, British Freedom Of Speech News, who posted the article and pic entitled, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan  Will call upon the UN to outlaw Critisism of Islam in any formhttps://www.facebook.com/205697173609270/photos/a.205701653608822/255638135281840/?type=3&theater.

In case you couldn't click on the link and read the posting, I decided to share what was stated with you (I copied/pasted):

Pakistan’s recent elections didn’t just see hundreds of candidates backed by jihad terror groups and the rise of an anti-blasphemy party, now the newly elected Prime Minister of Pakistan has come out swinging in defense of Pakistan’s infamous blasphemy laws.
In his first address to the senate since being sworn in, Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed to take the matter [of blasphemy] to the United Nations, saying that few in the West understand the pain caused to Muslims by such activities.
Why is Khan taking the matter to the United Nations? Because:
Geert Wilders, a Dutch lawmaker known for his fierce criticism of Islam, plans to hold a Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest later this year. Physical depictions of the Prophet are forbidden in Islam.
Blasphemy laws are rooted in the Sharia, pushed by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Now Pakistan, the country most known for its brutal blasphemy laws, has joined OIC efforts on an international scale to shut down freedom of expression that causes “pain” to Muslims.
This is a very critical point for Westerners to understand, since it is the root of “anti-Islamophobia” drives in the West. Islam must not be criticized because it is hurtful to Muslims. As Khan has stated, “few in the West understand the pain caused to Muslims by such activities” as planned by Wilders. But it doesn’t stop there. One must not scrutinize Islam, produce satirical depictions of Muhammad (as has been often done with Christ), or point out Islam’s human rights abuses, its intolerance, its relegation of women to an inferior status, FGM, honor killings, jihad violence and the call to wage bloody jihad in order to conquer non-Muslim states, and the like.
One must not even call out the hate being preached in mosques, or call for the monitoring of mosques due to their high incidence of hate preaching. It is all hurtful to Muslims; it is therefore “Islamophobic.”
“Pakistan condemns planned anti-Islam cartoon contest,” Indian Express, August 27, 2018:
Pakistan’s senate has passed a resolution condemning an anti-Islam cartoon contest planned by a far-right Dutch lawmaker, in one of the first actions taken by the assembly since last month’s elections.
In his first address to the senate since being sworn in, Prime Minister Imran Khan vowed to take the matter to the United Nations, saying that few in the West understand the pain caused to Muslims by such activities.
Geert Wilders, a Dutch lawmaker known for his fierce criticism of Islam, plans to hold a Prophet Muhammad cartoon contest later this year.
Physical depictions of the Prophet are forbidden in Islam……

Here's the pic that was with that posting:

To me, very amazing!  Why?

Well, it seems that Muslims speak a lot about Blasphemy Laws... as they have in Sharia Law.  Just as this article stated.

What is blasphemy?  Here's what I copied/pasted from Google:

blas·phe·my
ˈblasfəmē/
noun
  1. the act or offense of speaking sacrilegiously about God or sacred things; profane talk.
"he was detained on charges of blasphemy"
synonyms:profanitysacrilege, irreligion, irreverence, taking the Lord's name in vain, swearingcurse, cursing, impietydesecration
    archaicexecration
"the nuns would punish me at least three times a week for my blasphemy"

Sigh...

Why is it that Muslims only feel that blasphemy is done towards them?

It's also done, for Christianity.  Yet, many people don't care about that.

But, God cares.

Thinking about that, made me think of Revelation 13:6-8, " And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.".

Amen!   And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.  And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Please don't think that I do anything regarding blasphemy.  For I don't.

I speak truth.  And, I worship Him, for my name is in the book of life of the Lamb.  Just as God wants me and each of you, to do and have done.

If you speak truth, and worship Him, then God will bless you.

Thank You, Lord!
