Today, I'll be sharing something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Do you have any idea what it is I will share with you?  If you know me, you probably do.  And, the same if you regularly read LwL.

In case you don't know, I'll let you know.

It's about... movies!

Here are some movies I've watched:

The Kentuckian, starring Burt Lancaster, Dianne Foster and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this adventure film  I must admit, I enjoyed watching this movie.

The Scalphunters, starring Burt Lancaster, Ossie Davis and other actors.  To check out this American western film, click on this link:  Even though it wasn't an easy to live through movie, I enjoyed watching it.

Lawman, starring Burt Lancaster, Lee J. Cobb and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American western film?  If so, please click on this link:  I liked this movie, even though there was murder in it.

*  From Here to Eternity, starring Burt Lancaster, Deborah Kerr and other actors.  If you click on this link, you will be able to check out this drama film  Even though this was a sad movie, I enjoyed watching it.

Elmer Gantry, starring Burt Lancaster, Jean Simmons and other actors.  Please, click on this link to check out this drama film  Even though it was a stressful story, I truly enjoyed it.  After all, God was important in this movie.

Wow!  What wonderful movies to watch!

Especially, since God was important in a film that supported Him!  And, especially since Burt Lancaster did not just a wonderful job as an actor, but acted as a Christian, in Elmer Gantry!

Was Burt Lancaster truly a Christian?

To check it out, please click on this link:

If you read it, you'll know the article stated (I copied/pasted):

Despite his Protestant background and upbringing, Lancaster identified himself as an atheist later in life

To me, it truly broke my heart when I read this.  After all, everyone who trusts in/believes upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, gains salvation.

Just as we read, in Acts 16:31, "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.".

Amen!  Believe on the Lord, Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved!

Oooeee!  I was shocked reading about Burt Lancaster, and it broke my heart finding out that he wasn't truly Christian, even though he had been raised as a Protestant, with his family.  And, even though he acted as a Christian, in the movie... Elmer Gantry!

Many people do the same.

Many are raised with families who worship with a Christian church group.  Yet, not everyone gains salvation and everlasting life, because they didn't realize they needed to become a born again Christian by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I have.

Have you?

If not, do it today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
