Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be doing something I sometimes do.
Do you know what it is I'll be doing?
If you know me, or if you read LwL often, you'll probably be aware.
I'll be letting you know about movies!
Here are some movies I've watched:
* Deceiver, starring Tim Roth, Chris Penn and other actors. To check out this American murder mystery film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deceiver_(film). Even though a murder was part of this mystery, I enjoyed watching the movie.
* Sorry, Wrong Number, starring Barbara Stanwyck, Burt Lancaster and other actors. Click on this link, to check out this American thriller film noir: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sorry,_Wrong_Number. Even though it wasn't quoted as being a mystery on the link I shared with you, it was quoted online as a mystery movie, plus... I felt it truly was!
* Big Town Czar, starring Barton MacLane and Tom Brown. Would you like to check out this American mystery film? If so, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Town_Czar. Even though I enjoyed watching this movie, I felt it was sad.
* Backtrack, starring Adrien Brody, Bruce Spence and other actors. Please click on this link, to check out this Australian mystery thriller film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backtrack_(2015_film). Even though this movie seemed filled with suffering, I enjoyed watching it.
* Devil in a Blue Dress, starring Denzel Washington, Jennifer Beals and other actors. Please check out this American neo-noir mystery film, by clicking on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Devil_in_a_Blue_Dress_(film). Even though it contained sin of murder, I enjoyed this movie.
Ooohhh. To me, the devil was included in these films. But, it was encouraging, watching how the mysteries were settled.
After all, people don't only see mysteries in movies. Many people have been hidden from information, but God has revealed it to them.
Thinking of that, made me think of Colossians 1:26, " Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:".
Amen! Even the mystery which had been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints.
When I was younger, I wondered how people knew about what God wanted from us. To me, it was like a mystery, then.
But, once I began reading God's Word, the Bible, the mystery was revealed to me. And, would be to you, if you read the Bible.
Do you read the Bible?
If not, begin reading in the book of John, in the New Testament portion of the Bible. Then, read to the end. Later, begin at the beginning of the Old Testament, and read to the end, again.
If you do, then mystery will be revealed to you. And, you'll understand so much about the truth that God wants you to know about and understand.
Plus, I also believe that if you read the Bible, He will bless you!
Until next time...
