Charity!

What do you think I'll let you know about today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)?

Hopefully, you have an idea.  And, hopefully you are aware of what I enjoy doing and letting you know about.

What is it?

Movies!

Blondie's Blessed Event, starring Penny Singleton, Arthur Lake, Larry Simms and other actors.  Click on this link if you'd like to check out this black and white comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blondie%27s_Blessed_Event.  Yes, I liked this movie.

Blondie Plays Cupid, starring Penny Singleton, Arthur Lake, Larry Simms, Glenn Ford and other actors.  Please click on this link, if you'd like to check out this American comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blondie_Plays_Cupid.  Did I enjoy this movie?  Yes.

Wow!  How wonderful it was to watch these movies!  Even though they were made many, many, many years ago.

There was faithfulness within the family.  And... love.

Not just for husband and wife, but also for the children.  Plus, other people and animals.

Thinking of that, made me think of 1 Corinthians 13:13, "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.".

Amen!  And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Even though the KJV version of the Bible states the word charity, it is known today as love.  Just as it is quoted in the NIV version and some other versions of the Bible.

Yes, love truly touches my heart.

Not just for my family, friends and people I have come to know in various places.  But, also for my Lord.

After all, Jesus loved us so much, that He came to earth, to pay the price for the sin of the world, for all who would believe upon Him.

I believe upon Jesus.

Do you?

All you have to do, is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ and you will gain salvation and everlasting life.  Then, you will also have a relationship with Him.

If you haven't yet done this, do it now.  Today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
