Today, is a special day, not just here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). It's also our day of worship!
Yes, we should worship with church family. But, we can also worship through music. Just as I do, here on LwL on our Lord's Day!
The music I decided to share with you, isn't Christian music.
The music isn't something I've heard for quite a while. Like other times, I feel I need to let you know that it was music on my mind and heart, when I awoke, recently.
Please know that I will discuss with you tomorrow, why I feel it happened to me. But, I will share with you the song, now.
The song is sung by Willie Nelson on YouTube and is entitled, Always On My Mind. Here is a link for you to click on, so you can listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDGiSoLIG8I. The lyrics are below.
Always On My Mind
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
And maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
If I made you feel second best
Girl I'm sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Tell me,
Tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me
One more chance to keep you satisfied
I'll keep you satisfied
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
Amen!
You were always on my mind, dear Lord!
Is He on your mind? I believe He needs to be.
Just as we read, on Philippians 2:5, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:".
Amen! Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus!
My mind is on Christ Jesus.
Is your mind on Christ Jesus?
Hopefully, it is. If so, He will bless you.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
