Love and Glory!

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) blog entry, I would like to let you know that today, is a day when my heart feels broken.  Why?  Today, is the anniversary of my mom's death.  Yes, I think of her and feel grief.  After all... I miss her... and love her.

There's something else I want to let you know about, here on LwL.

It's something that my granddaughter, A... did that truly touched my heart in a wonderful way.

I must admit, I am thankful that A has been attending Sunday School, where I have been worshiping.  And, have been thankful that A also attended... Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS)!

Vacation Bible School (VBS) happens at many Christian churches.  For this, I'm happy about.  After all, it's good for children to attend.

Although some church groups have VBS during each day for a week during the summer, Walkerville Evangelical Baptist Church has the DVBS happen during the evening of each day for a week, each summer.

What happens for the children at the DVBS?

Singing, food, lots of prizes, crafts, Bible lessons, and games are what the children do and participate in.  And, it's not an event that is charged money for.  Nope!  It's FREE!

Even though that is truly a blessing, it makes me happy that the best part of what happens, is that God is honoured.  After all, He deserves glory.

Just as we read, in 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.".

Amen!  Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

That is exactly what was done with and for the children who attended.

May God bless each and every person who participated. 

Not just the children who attended.  But, also the adults who did all they could to honour and glorify God.

What a blessing!
