Sign... and Pray!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be showing you something.

It's something I received by e-mail, like I have in the past.

The e-mail message I received was from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here is what was sent to me (I copied/pasted):

Lynn,

Turkey’s sham trial of innocent American Pastor Andrew Brunson resumed TODAY.

After months of needless delays, it was just the third day of his trial. It is dragging out, adding to the torment of his wrongful imprisonment. Now he has been remanded back to prison, and his next trial date was set for October, 12th.

Pastor Andrew is innocent. Yet he’s being accused of “Christianization” as a crime by the Turkish regime. This loving father and husband has been unjustly imprisoned for more than 21 months.

This mockery of justice – bogus charges, hearsay testimony from “secret” witnesses, and intolerable delays must end. He MUST be released.

We’re engaged in a multifaceted global legal advocacy campaign, working with Pastor Andrew’s lawyer in Turkey, the State Department, at the U.N. (filing new legal documents in just days), and directly with NATO to bring him home.

I have just deployed a senior team of attorneys to Washington D.C. to urgently raise Pastor Andrew's case.

Pastor Andrew says: “I desperately miss my wife and children. Yet, I believe this to be true, it is an honor to suffer for Jesus Christ, as many have before me. My deepest thanks to all those around the world who are standing with and praying for me.”

Now is the time to pray. Now is the time act. Join over 580,000 others in demanding his freedom.

Sign Our Petition: Save Pastor Andrew Brunson.

Wow!

By the time the next date happens for the court, it will be almost or about two (2) years, that Pastor Andrew Brunson has been imprisoned by Muslims, because he is Christian.

ACLJ may be asking for us to do what we can for Pastor Andrew Brunson.  However, Pastor Andrew Brunson is also praying and asking us Christians to do what we can to help him.  Not only will he be helped and provided for, but also his family will be.

Thinking of this, made me think of Matthew 5:42, "Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.".

Amen!  Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Please, give your signing of the petition to help Pastor Andrew Brunson.

Please, do whatever you can to help ACLJ, who helps Christians.

Please... pray!

If you do, I believe God will bless you!

Until next time...
