Fireworks & Blessed...

There's something I am feeling happy to tell you about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's actually something that relates to both Windsor, Ontario, Canada... and Detroit, Michigan, USA.

In case you aren't aware, both Windsor (where I live) and Detroit are across the Detroit River, from each other.  And, it's so close, that no matter which side of the border you are on, or which country you are in, you can see the other side!

Of course, if you read LwL recently, you'll know that we Canadians celebrated Canada Day!  And, you'll know that tomorrow, Americans in USA will be celebrating July 4th... Independence Day!

What's really nice to me, is that for many years now, there is a celebration that happens for both Canada and USA.

Yes, celebration is done in various ways in both Windsor and Detroit.  However, there is something that is done to celebrate both countries, on the same day, annually.

Every year, it's a different date.  And, for many years now, it hasn't been done near either of the dates when both Windsor and Detroit, celebrate their country.  This year, it was June 25th, 2018.

What was done?

Fireworks!

The fireworks are actually done on the Detroit River.  So people in Canada, go to the downtown area of Windsor, and sit on the riverside area.  People in Detroit, go to their riverside area.

This way, everyone attending gets to see the wonderful fireworks that are done!

Yes, they are beautiful!  Years ago, I actually read back then, that the fireworks done here, are the largest fireworks done in both USA and Canada.

Whether or not it's the same today, I can't say.  Because, I don't know.

However, here in Windsor and/or in Detroit, if you can't go downtown and watch from the riverside area, you can actually watch it on television!

What a blessing!

Well, even though that is a blessing to me, and to others, there truly is a better blessing for everyone.  At least, that's what I believe.

Why?

I believe that, because we all need to focus on God.  And, when we do, we are blessed!

Just as we read, in Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God."

Amen!  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Having a relationship with God, because they've seen that they need to do it, is important to some people.  And, they will do it.

This proves that those people are pure in heart.  And, are blessed.

I belong to God, because I have trusted in/believed upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and have gained salvation and everlasting life.

Have you?

If not, come to Christ, today.

If you do, you'll gain salvation, everlasting life, and will definitely be blessed!

Until next time...
