There is something I feel I need to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It's not something great. But, it's also not something terrible.
To me, it touches my heart.
What is it?
Well, if my deceased husband, Gordon was alive... it would be his birthday. If he were alive, I would wish him... Happy Birthday!
Can I do it? Not really. He's not here.
A relative of mine was rather upset that I write about Gordon every now and then. I don't believe she should feel that way.
After all, the love I had... is now gone. And, it makes me feel sad, even though it touches my heart.
Even so, I'm grateful that my Lord loves me. And, helps me.
Just as we read, in Psalm 147:3, "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.".than
Amen! He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
Just as He's done for me.
All I can say, is... thank You, Lord!
I will look to... and trust You, always!
Until next time...

Happy Graduation, Z!
There's something I feel I need to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It's not regarding me. Although I must say I attended with family members to the ceremony.
What was it?
It was a graduation ceremony for my grandson, Z, at the Capital Theatre!
Happy Graduation, Z!!!!
Yes, I'm happy Z graduated from high school! But, it was also the first graduation for the school that had begun about four (4) years earlier!
The school was Westview Freedom Academy, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
My grandson, Z... was mentioned in the information booklet, but not just on the list of students who were graduating. Z also received a OYAP/SHSM Certificate... that was stated in the article of the information booklet (I copied it):
OYAP/SHSM Certificates were awarded to students who have focused their learning on a specific economic sector while meeting Ontario Secondary School Diploma requirements. SHSM enables students to gain sector-specific skills and knowledge as well as additional qualifications that will make them more marketable in the job market and ease their transition into the workplace.
Yay! I must admit, I am truly happy for Z! Especially, since he wants to become a professional chef!
Why does this make me happy? My grandfather, who came to Canada about a hundred or more years ago from Bukovina, which disappeared during WW1 and became part of Ukraine (and Romania, plus a couple other countries), was a professional chef. I must admit that I am truly happy that Z wants to be like my grandfather.
Hallelujah! Thank You, Lord!
Yes, I believe my grandson is great!
But, my Lord is great!
Just as we read, in Psalm 147:5, "Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.".
Amen! Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
He loves us. Provides for us. And, blesses us in many ways.
For this, I am truly thankful.
Plus, I'm thankful I was able to celebrate with my family, at the graduation. And later, for dinner.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time..

Forever...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing something with you.
Why?
Today, is our special day of worship! So, I'll share with you some music!
Chris Tomlin sang... Forever. Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUH_NzfRmbs. The lyrics are below.
Forever
Give thanks to the Lord
Our God and King
His love endures forever
For He is good
He is above all things
His love endures forever
Sing praise, sing praise
With a mighty hand and outstretched arm
His love endures forever
For the life
That's been reborn
His love endures forever
Sing praise, sing praise
Sing praise, sing praise
Forever, God is faithful
Forever, God is strong
Forever, God is with us
Forever
From the rising
To the setting sun
His love endures forever
And by the grace of God
We will carry on
His love endures forever
Sing praise, sing praise
Sing praise, sing praise
Yeah
Forever, God is faithful
Forever, God is strong
Forever, God is with us
Forever, forever
Forever, God is faithful
Forever, God is strong
Forever, God is with us
Forever
His love endures forever
His love endures forever
His love endures forever
Forever
Sing praise, sing praise
Sing praise, sing praise
Sing praise, sing praise
Sing praise, sing praise
Forever, God is faithful
Forever, God is strong
Forever, God is with us
Forever
Yes, You are!
Forever you are faithful
Forever you are strong
Forever you are with us
Forever, forever
Amen!
We need to give thanks to the Lord!
After all, He has mercy for us. And, it stays with us, forever.
Just as we read, in Psalm 107:1, " O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.".
Amen! O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: for His mercy endureth forever!
Our Lord, is so good!
He has mercy for us!
We need to give thanks to Him! Thank You, Lord!
After all, He loved us so much, even before we were born, that He gave His live to pay the price for the sin of the world, for all who would believe upon Him.
I do.
Do you?
If you do, I know you'll be blessed.

Truth?!
Do you have any idea what I'll be mentioning about here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today?
If you know me, or if you've been reading LwL for a while, you'll know that I will be doing something I have done before. I'll talk about... movies!
Here are some movies I've watched:
* Dead of Winter, starring Mary Steenburgen, Roddy McDowall and other actors. To check out this American horror thriller film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_of_Winter. Yes, this movie was truly horror.
* Walking Tall, starring Joe Don Baker and Elizabeth Hartman. Click on this link, to check out this American action semi-biopic film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walking_Tall_(1973_film). Even though this movie was scary, I watched it.
* Walking Tall Part 2, starring Bo Svenson, Luke Askew and other actors. Would you like to check out this part 2 version of the Walking Tall crime/action film, that I mentioned already? If so, please click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walking_Tall_Part_2. Since it was a part 2 film, I watched it.
* Shattered, starring Tom Berenger, Bob Hoskins and other actors. If you'd like to check out this American neo-noir /psychological thriller, please click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shattered_(1991_film). To me, it was difficult to watch, but I did.
* Original Sin, starring Antonio Banderas, Angelina Jolie and other actors. Please, click on this link, if you want to check out this erotic thriller film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original_Sin_(2001_film). It was difficult to watch.
Wow! Thrillers?!
Please realize that some of these movies were considered thrillers, even though some were also known as crime films.
Are they great to watch?
To me... no. But, I do sometimes watch them. Even though they do contain sin.
Some people think they do not sin. But, they truly shouldn't say they do not sin.
Thinking of this, made me think of 1 John 1:8, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.".
Amen! If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If you read the Bible then you realize that we truly do have sin. And, we also need to confess our sin, to be forgiven.
I read the Bible.
Do you?
If you don't, then please begin reading it. Start in the New Testament book of John, and read everything following, to the end of the Bible, including Revelation.
If you do, you'll read about truth. And, you'll be blessed!
Until next time...

Feeling? Please Pray...
Again, I'll share something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). It's also something I received recently by e-mail.
I don't feel I need to share the name of the person who shared the article, but I will share the article with you.
The article is regarding USA. Although I tried to post it, the system didn't work well enough to let everyone see it, so I copied and pasted the article information: Here it is (copied/pasted):
Wow! Just so you know, I'm not requesting you to e-mail me about your thoughts; it was part of the message I received.
To me, it's not good that Islamic terrorists are not happy being bored and frustrated, as their lawyer claimed on the article.
To me, these people must come to realize that God has told us to not hate enemies. But, rather, we are to love enemies, and bless them.
Just as we read, in Matthew 5:43-44, "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;".
Amen! Just as you read, God told us to...love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.
We can accept from the information provided, the terrorists are not being hated, abused, or treated badly, even though they feel badly that they are feeling bored.
Hopefully, the enemies who are claiming to be bored, will realize that they are not being hurt, abused, and hated. Instead, they are being treated well and are being blessed.
Please join me in prayer.
Pray that enemies will realize they are being loved and not hated. Just as God wants us to do.
And, pray that they will become Christian, for if they do, they will be blessed by our God.
Thank you.
May God bless you.
Until next time...

Do we really need a new geriatric wing at Guantanamo Bay for the world’s worst terrorists?
I can think of better ways to spend taxpayer dollars than on the Pentagon’s request for a $69 million "senior care unit" at GITMO that would provide "hospice beds and communal areas so elderly prisoners could help each other as they grow old."
Some of the prisoners housed there, like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (pictured above) were responsible for the slaughter of 3,000 innocent Americans on 9-11.
The Miami Herald reported the existing prison “is structurally sound but will become inadequate for the hospice needs of long-term war prisoners who will ultimately need geriatric care.”
A lawyer for some of the prisoners said his clients "are bored and frustrated. They are just waiting, waiting, waiting."
Bored and frustrated. Geriatric care and hospice needs. A senior care wing. Is this a maximum security prison for Islamic terrorists or a retirement home?
Congress omitted funding for the new geriatric wing in the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act. And rightly so.
The prisoners at GITMO do not deserve special privileges or treatment that is better than most Americans receive.
I doubt the families of the 9-11 victims would think highly of this proposal. What do you think? Email me your thoughts.

Be Ready!
There's something I feel I need to share with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It's something a friend shared to me. Even so, I feel you need to see it.
It's an article by yournewswire.com that is entitled, Illegal Immigrant Beheads 13-Year-Old Girl in Alabama - Media Blackout: https://yournewswire.com/illegal-immigrant-ice-beheading/amp/?__twitter_impression=true.
Did you click on the link? Hopefully, you did.
If you didn't, then please read a bit of what was stated on the article (I copied/pasted):
The U.S. mainstream media is refusing to report on a barbaric crime involving an illegal immigrant working for a Mexican drug cartel who allegedly forced a 13-year-old Alabama girl to watch the murder of her grandmother, before driving the child into the woods and cutting her head off with a knife.
Wow!
The rest of the information, I decided to not share with you. Hopefully, you will click on that link and read it.
To me, it is truly disgusting what was done by that illegal immigrant.
Yes, I realize it happened in Alabama, USA and not here in Canada. But, it doesn't mean that something like that couldn't happen here in Canada.
After all, any illegal immigrant who is here in Canada, may or may not have the same thoughts... and ideas on what they feel they want to do. They will do what they feel they want to do. And, anything can happen... anywhere.
I pray that our government and/or police will protect us Canadians.
After all, we need protection.
Plus, we definitely need to obey those who are in control.
Just as we read, in Titus 3:1, "Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,".
Amen! Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work.
Yes, we need to be ready for our government to do good for us Canadians. And, our government needs to protect us.
For this, I will look to God to help all of us.
Just as He does for all who belong to Him.
I belong to Him.
Do you?
If not, do so... today. Tomorrow, may be too late.
Until next time...

Secret Revealed!
Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday.
If you did, then you are aware of what happened to me, when I slept on the night of Friday, July 13th, and the morning of Saturday, July 14th, 2018.
If you read LwL's blog entry yesterday, then you are aware that I had a shocking dream.
As I mentioned, at first I thought that maybe God was planning my life to end soon. But after praying and thinking of the Bible verse I quoted, I realized that God was revealing something to me.
I praise God that almost everyone who attended the dream were people I knew. Even though the majority of them had their lives ended here on earth, in the past.
Then, I got a call from a friend of mine.
My friend lives in another city. But, I was notified that his mother had died.
Even though I didn't tell him, when we spoke on the phone, I'll mention what I believe happened.
I believe that God wanted me to know that my friend's mom was dying. She was actually in my dream... along with so many other people.
This made me realize that He was letting me know that the few people alive in the dream, who were with all those whose life had ended here on earth, were people whose lives were close to ending, here on earth.
Thinking of this, made me think of Amos 3:7, "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.".
Amen! Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but He revealeth His secret unto His servants the prophets.
Even though I don't believe I am a prophet, I know I do work for Him. So, I do believe that He revealed the fact that my friend's mom's life was ending, and she enjoyed being with all those people in my dream, whose lives had already ended here on earth, in the past.
Sigh... talk about truth regarding someone else's life!
Even though I don't believe my life will end soon, only He knows if it will.
In any case, I know that I'm grateful that He loves me. And, that I love Him.
Do you?
Hopefully, you do love Him. For if you do, you'll be blessed!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Dream?!
There's something I feel I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It's not something anyone did to me. Nor, was it anything I did.
But, it was something I feel God did for me.
Just so you know, it wasn't anything that happened while I was awake. It was what happened while I slept.
As you probably guess, I had a dream... while I was asleep, on Friday, July 13th, 2018.
When I awoke in the morning, on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 I was truly shocked!
The dream was truly very different than what I ever had, in the past. To me, it was actually shocking!
During the dream, I was trying to help people who had come to visit me. The number of people increased, over and over, and over, again.!
Some people sat in various rooms of a house that I couldn't recall ever being in. Yet apparently, I lived there at the time of the dream.
Then, everyone became hungry. So, I became doing all I could to provide food for everyone.
When I awoke, it seemed like everyone was happy I had been able to do what was necessary.
However, something was truly different in that dream.
What was it?
It seemed like most people in the dream were not alive. I'm not saying that everyone died during the dream.
No, during the dream it seemed they were all alive. Even though in real life, the majority of people in attendance had their lives end, here on earth, in the past.
Wow!
Just before I awoke, I was truly shocked at having had a dream like that. In the past, I had never had a dream like that, before. Yet, I realized it was a dream!
I felt like God wanted me to know something. I felt like He was educating me.
As you probably are aware, I believe He did provide the dream for me.
After all, God does provide in dreams for some people.
Just as we read, in Job 33:15-18, "In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
Amen! In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; then he openeth the ears of men and sealeth there instruction, that He may withdraw man from His purpose and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit and his life from perishing by the sword.
Hallelujah!
Understanding these Bible verses, helped me realize that my life wasn't ending at that time. Even though I thought that possibly my life was ending.
Something happened though. I will discuss it tomorrow.
Then, you'll know what happened.
May God bless you for being patient with me.
Until next time...

Just as we read, in Job 33:15-18, "In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
18 He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.".Amen! Hospital and Prayer Request...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I plan to let you know about. And, ask you to pray about.
It's not something that has affected me. It's something regarding a friend I have.
My friend doesn't live here in Canada anymore. This friend lives in Dublin, Ireland.
Unfortunately my friend's wife died last year. He has suffered quite a bit, emotionally.
But, he also hasn't been well, lately. In fact, he was so ill that he needed to be put into hospital.
What happened?
The amount of sodium in his blood, almost totally disappeared. Apparently, he wasn't even able to talk for a while.
Here's a link by healthline.com for you to read about low Blood Sodium: https://www.healthline.com/health/hyponatremia#causes. Hopefully, you clicked on the link and read the article.
As I hope you read, it's very important to have sodium inside you. Especially, as you get older in age.
I must admit that I am thankful that my friend's next door neighbour, who is also a friend of his, took him to the doctor and to the hospital. Thank you, L.
Of course, I am thankful to God!
Being thankful reminded me of Psalm 147:7, "Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:".
Amen! Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God.
Yes, I sing unto the Lord, and praise Him.
I'm glad to be thankful. After all, being thankful is so very important.
For me, it's easy to be thankful to Him.
To my friend, I don't believe it is, yet.
Why? My friend has not yet become a born again Christian.
Please, join me in prayer for my friend.
Pray that God will help him realize that he needs to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ. For if he does, his heart will be opened, and he will gain salvation... and everlasting life.
For that, I will also be thankful.
Please join me in prayer also for everyone else we know, who has not yet become a born again Christian.
Thank you, dear reader, friend.
May God bless you!
And... thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Reasons!
Today, is a special day... just as I've said before, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
Why is it a special day?
It is our Lord's Day!
Being our Lord's Day, we need to worship Him.
Worship can be done with church family. But, it can also be done through music. :)
Like I've done in the past, I'll be sharing music with you.
10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord o my soul), by Matt Redman, is what I'm sharing with you. Here is a link for you to click on, so you can listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSxocnIaN0A. The lyrics are below.
10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord oh my soul)
Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
The sun comes up, it's a new day dawning
It's time to sing Your song again
Whatever may pass, and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes
Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
You're rich in love, and You're slow to anger
Your name is great, and Your heart is kind
For all Your goodness I will keep on singing
Ten thousand reasons for my heart to find
Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
And on that day when my strength is failing
The end draws near and my time has come
Still my soul will sing Your praise unending
Ten thousand years and then forevermore
Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
Bless the Lord, O my soul
O my soul
Worship His holy name
Sing like never before
O my soul
I'll worship Your holy name
Yes, I'll worship Your holy name
Lord, I'll worship Your holy name
Amen! Bless the Lord! We need to.
Just as we read, in Psalm 103:1, "Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.".
It's so important to bless the Lord! We should bless His holy name!
Jesus is so important.
By trusting in/believing upon Jesus, I've received salvation and everlasting life.
Have you?
If you haven't yet gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... then do it, today.
Tomorrow may be too late.

Ireland?!
Can you guess what I'll be doing today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)?
If you have an idea, you may have read LwL quite often. For, if you have, then you will know that I'll be talking about movies!
Today, it will be regarding Irish movies!
Here are some movies I've seen:
* My Left Foot, starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Ray McAnally and many other actors. To check on this biographical drama film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Left_Foot. Even though life wasn't easy due to not good health, I enjoyed this movie!
* Into The West, starring Gabriel Byrne, Ellen Barkin and other actors. Would you like to check out this Irish magical realist film? If so, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Into_the_West_(film). Even though I enjoy Irish films, I don't really like magical films.
* The Playboys, starring Albert Finney, Aiden Quinn an other actors. Click on this link, if you'd like to check out this Irish film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Playboys. Even though there was a lot involved that wasn't great, I enjoyed watching this movie.
* The Field, starring starring Richard Harris, John Hurt and other actors. Check out this Irish drama film, by clicking on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Field_(film). Looking at the scenery, made me think of how wonderful Ireland and Northern Ireland is, for I've seen much of it and would enjoy seeing it, again!
* The Quiet Man, starring John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara and many other actors. If you'd like to check out this American romantic comedy-drama film, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Quiet_Man. If you know me well, you'll be aware that I truly adore this Irish film and have seen it, many times!
As I've mentioned in the past, The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland have truly touched my heart. Not just in movies, but also by being there!
Of course, our Lord also touches our heart. And, knows what our hearts carry.
Thinking of this, made me think of Proverbs 21:2, "Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.".
Amen! Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts.
Please realize that even though we think we see correctly in our own eyes, the most important thing is that our Lord sees what's in our hearts.
So, if you haven't yet come to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, please do so, as soon as possible. If you do, you'll gain salvation and eternal life. And, He will always know what is in your heart.
Because I've done this, I'm so thankful.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Sign... and Pray!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be showing you something.
It's something I received by e-mail, like I have in the past.
The e-mail message I received was from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ). Here is what was sent to me (I copied/pasted):
Wow!
By the time the next date happens for the court, it will be almost or about two (2) years, that Pastor Andrew Brunson has been imprisoned by Muslims, because he is Christian.
ACLJ may be asking for us to do what we can for Pastor Andrew Brunson. However, Pastor Andrew Brunson is also praying and asking us Christians to do what we can to help him. Not only will he be helped and provided for, but also his family will be.
Thinking of this, made me think of Matthew 5:42, "Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.".
Amen! Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
Please, give your signing of the petition to help Pastor Andrew Brunson.
Please, do whatever you can to help ACLJ, who helps Christians.
Please... pray!
If you do, I believe God will bless you!
Until next time...

Do It!
There is something I feel I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It's regarding something I received as an e-mail. The e-mail message was actually received a while ago, but I feel I need to share it with you.
It was from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ). Here's what it said:
Wow! A crisis is truly happening.
Please click on the link and sign the petition.
Do whatever you can to help. Just as ACLJ asked.
Thinking of that, made me think of Matthew 5:42, "Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.".

Hallelujah!
Something happened that I feel I need to tell you about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It actually happened, last week. So, I decided to let you know about it.
You probably have no idea what happened. But, it was something that I believe happens to many people, by many people.
Even though it wasn't a terrible issue, I felt hurt by a relative of mine.
Just so you know, I felt hurt. But, not angry.
My heart felt broken.
Even so, I forgave my relative. Just as I've done for many other people in the past.
After all, God has told us to forgive.
Just as He did, in Matthew 6:14, "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:".
Amen! If ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
So, I know my relative has been forgiven. And, I have also been forgiven.
To me, this is truly a blessing!
How about you?
Do you feel it is a blessing?
If so, I know you will forgive others. And will also be forgiven yourself.
Hallelujah!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Happy!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something else I need to let you know about what happened on SONday.
As I mentioned, my granddaughter, A was with me. Yes, she attended Sunday school, while I was with my church family during the worship service.
However, afterwards A and I did something, together.
What was it?
We attended a picnic!
The picnic wasn't outside the church building. It was at a park, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
Years earlier, I had been in that park area. At that time, it was only grass.
However, it was shocking to me that the park now was set up for families with children. Yes, children's fun items were there, like slides, places to climb, etc. There wasn't a swimming pool. But, there was a few areas where water systems were set up, so that children could have fun and get wet!
I must admit, my granddaughter, A... was very happy being there. Not just having fun in the area. And, having a delicious luncheon. But, also spending time with a special friend she's had for a long time, who has also attended Sunday school with her.
This made me truly happy. I feel A was truly blessed.
Not just because she was having fun. But, also because she has come to know and love Jesus. Just like her friend she had fun with at the park picnic.
After all, they both have been taught about Jesus and have come to love Him. Just as many other children have done there, also.
Thinking of this, made me think of Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.".
Amen! Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
Yes, I realize that truly happens. For it truly happened for me!
After all, I came to know Jesus... and love Him. Just as my granddaughter, A does!
By loving Him so much, I came to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ. This is what provided me with salvation, and everlasting life.
This is what will be happening with anyone else who comes to know Jesus and love Him. Like my granddaughter, A... and any other child who attends Sunday School, with a church family group who teaches them about Jesus, and helps them come to know and love Him.
Hallelujah!
For this, I'm truly thankful.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Go!
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about what happened, yesterday.
As I'm sure you know, yesterday was our Lord's Day!
It was our day of worship. And, I didn't just worship with church family, I also had my granddaughter, A with me! Thank You, Lord!
During our worship service there were a few people who did speaking regarding their missions group.
The missions group wasn't from here in Windsor, ON. Nor was it from anywhere in Canada. The missions group was from Detroit, Michigan, USA.
Yes, we donated to that mission group!
It was wonderful hearing about what they do. After all this missions group does what all missions groups do.
They go and preach the gospel to everyone. That's what Jesus wants people to do.
Just as we read, in Mark 16:15, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.".
Amen! And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
To me, it's truly wonderful what this and every other missions groups are doing. For they are doing what our Lord, Jesus Christ wants every one of us Christians to do.
And, to be honest, it's something I've always done, whenever I have been able to.
Not just with people I've met or known. But, also with people I've met while traveling.
Do you do this?
Hopefully, you do. For if you do, He will bless you!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

Come!
Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I will let you know about something.
Something is so important.
What is it?
Worship!
With today, being SONday, it is our day of worship.
Of course, if you know me, or if you've read LwL in the past, you'll know that we need to worship, for I've always felt that way. And, discussed it.
Like I've also said, we can worship through music.
So today, I'll share with you Come Let Us Worship And Bow Down. Here is a link for you to click on and listen to, and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEK9u51ofZE. The lyrics are below.
Come Let Us Worship And Bow Down
Come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker.
Come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker.
For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture,
and the sheep of His hand,
just the sheep of His hand.
Come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker.
Come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our God, our Maker.
For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture,
and the sheep of His hand,
just the sheep of His hand.
For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture,
and the sheep of His hand,
just the sheep of His hand.
Amen!
We need to worship Him. We also need a good heart.
Just as we read, in Psalm 95:6-8, "O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
Amen!
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness.
It's so important to worship Him. And, do what He would have us do.
I do.
Do you?
If you do, I know you'll be blessed.
Until next time...

Look!
There's something I feel I need to do, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
It's something that I do quite often. Do you have any idea what it is?
I'll let you know!
Movies! Well, even though I consider them to be movies, they are considered to be episodes.
Here are some movies/episodes I've watched:
* Columbo: Murder With Too Many Notes, starring Peter Falk, Billy Connolly and other actors. If you'd like to check out this crime, drama, mystery movie/episode, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0182919/. Yes, I enjoyed this movie/episode.
* Columbo: Dead Weight, starring Peter Falk, Eddie Albert and other actors. Click on this link, to check out this crime, drama, mystery movie/episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066931/. Hopefully, you'll watch this!
* Columbo: Ashes to Ashes, starring Peter Falk, Patrick McGoohan and other actors. Would you like to check out this crime, drama, mystery movie/episode? If so, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0144141/. It's good!
* Columbo: Columbo Cries Wolf, starring Peter Falk, Ian Buchanan and other actors. To check out this crime, drama, mystery movie/episode, click on this link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097082/ I'm sure you'd enjoy this.
* Columbo: Rest in Peace, Mrs. Columbo, starring Peter Falk, Helen Shaver and other actors. Please click on this link, if you'd like to check out this crime, drama, mystery movie/episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097088/. To be honest, I truly enjoyed this movie/episode!
Amazing! Yes, I'm sure you realize that I feel that Columbo, is amazing!
Of course, Peter Falk is such a great actor that I truly enjoy the Columbo movies/episodes! Plus, to me, the writers were truly wonderful.
After all, crimes were truly committed. People were murdered. And, he was able to confirm who the murder was.
Murder is not good. No one is to kill anyone.
Just as we read, in Exodus 20:13, "Thou shalt not kill.".
Amen! Thou shalt not kill.
Life isn't easy. But, God is good.
If ever you have severe problems in your life, look to Him.
Don't ever kill anyone.
If you look to God to help you, He will.
And, you'll be blessed.
Until next time...

Canadians...
Today, I'll be sharing something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
What I'm sharing with you, is with regard to what's happening here in Canada.
There is a YouTube video that I feel you need to see. Here is a link to the video entitled, EXCLUSIVE: Refugees Fight Canadians with Rocks, Bricks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwpOoAYhe6E.
Did you click on the link an watch/listen to the video? Hopefully, you did.
If you did, then you realize that Muslims from Syria have been attacking people. You'll know that a Muslim mom actually threw a brick at a 13 year old boy and damaged him.
Am I putting down Muslims? No, I'm not doing that. I'm doing what I can to educate people about the truth about Islam, and what Muslims are taught to do by their god.
Please understand that this is how they have lived their lives in the past, and teach their family members to do things.
Please understand that we need to pray. When we pray, God will know what we are asking Him for.
Just as we read, in Philippians 4:6, "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
We need to pray for Muslims to stop doing what is hurtful to non-Muslims, plus we need to pray that Muslims will not want Sharia Law. For Sharia Law is the law that they will follow, and will refuse to follow our law... here in Canada, plus in other countries.
We need to pray for Canadians... who are not Muslim. Pray that they will not be hurt.
We need to pray for Canada, so that Canadians will not have their lives changed by Muslims who are here.
We need to pray that Muslims will not do what their god wants them to do. Their god, NOT our God, wants them to convert everyone in the world, to Islam. And, if people do not convert, then Muslims have the right to cut off our heads, meaning kill people.
We need to pray that Muslims will convert to Christianity. For if they do, they will realize that they will gain everlasting life and salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and will receive forgiveness.
I pray.
Do you?
If you do, God will bless you.
Until next time...

12th of July - Happy Orangemen's Day!
Today, is a special day, here on
Life with Lynnie (LwL).
Why?
It's a special day that my
Irish family members
will celebrate, not only what is called...
The Twelfth!
Here is a link for you to read about the Twelfth:
Also,
the 12th of July
is also called...
Orangemen's Day!
On July 12th,
supportive Protestant bands
will participate in...
parades!
In the past, I've seen that happen.
And, wish I could have today, even though I couldn't.
Even so, I wish
you...
and everyone else...
Happy Orangemen's Day!
and
Happy July 12th!
Thinking of how Protestant band people
celebrate July 12th,
made me think of how
they actually walk in parades...
by faith...
honouring God.
Just as we read in,
2 Corinthians 5:7, "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)".
Amen!
Everyone needs to walk by faith, not by sight.
Just as the Orangemen are,
since they are Christian.
Hopefully, you walk by faith and not by sight.
Just as I do.
So, again... I wish you to...
Happy July 12th!
Happy Orangemen's Day!
Until next time...

WSIB's President & Chief Executive Officer...
On Life with Lynnie (LwL) today, I feel I need to show you something.
It's something that I find upsetting. And, it's something that other people find upsetting.
Especially, injured workers.
There's an article by ontariosunshinelist.com that is entitled, Thomas Teahen: http://www.ontariosunshinelist.com/people/jqzxyh.
Hopefully, you clicked on the link, and read the information that was given. In case you need to see it, I decided to share some of it with you (I copied/pasted):
The information is regarding Thomas Teahen, who is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB). Here it is:
Sigh...
I have to admit, seeing this information regarding Thomas Teahen's income from WSIB truly makes me feel sick in my heart.
Why?
Thomas Teahen's income increased. It increased a lot!
Yet, injured workers do not receive large increases like Thomas Teahen received.
And, the bitterness that is done by everyone working at WSIB truly hurts injured workers.
To be honest, I don't believe that anyone working for WSIB should be doing horrible stuff to injured workers. But, they do.
They reduce as much as possible any income for injured workers. Plus, many injured workers are not able to have WSIB pay for treatment, etc.
So... yes, to me it is sinful. And, bitterness that WSIB does.
Thinking of this, made me think of Ephesians 4:31, "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:"
Amen! Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you with all malice.
To me, this Bible verse applies to everyone.
To WSIB workers, who do all to hurt injured workers. Plus, to injured workers who need to do what they can to not do evilness to anyone hurting them, like those working for WSIB.
The only thing I can do, is ask you to join me in prayer.
Prayer is so important.
And, if you pray with me, then I believe God will bless you.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

God in Schools in Florida...
Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing something with you.
It's something that I am truly happy about. Hopefully, you will be happy, also.
Here is an article by tampabay.com that is entitled, Florida House approves bill to post "In God We Trust" in all public schools: http://www.tampabay.com/blogs/gradebook/2018/02/21/florida-house-approves-bill-to-post-in-god-we-trust-in-all-public-schools/#undefined.gbpl.
Even from the title of that article, it truly touched my heart! Hopefully, yours also.
Did you click on the link and read that article? I hope you did. In case you couldn't, I decided to share with you some of what was stated (I copied/pasted):
With the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High shooting still looming large, its students in the Capitol to lobby for gun controls, the Florida House overwhelmingly passed a measure Wednesday its sponsor said aimed at bringing "light" to the schools.
The bill (HB 839) would require all public schools to post the state motto, "In God We Trust," in a "conspicuous place."
Hallelujah! Amen!
This is so wonderful!
Apparently, in 1962, God was removed from schools in USA. Within a few years, God was also removed from schools here in Canada.
Even though many schools here in Canada are allowing Muslims to pray at school, no one else is allowed to... as far as I know.
To me, it's wonderful that USA is beginning to include God again.
After all, everyone needs to trust in the Lord.
Just as we read, in Jeremiah 17:7, "Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.".
Amen! Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, whose hope the Lord is.
I trust in Him.
Do you?
If you don't trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then when your life ends here on earth, you'll spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with NO chance of escape.
If you do trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then when your life ends here on earth, you'll spend eternity in Heaven, with Him for you will have gained salvation and everlasting life.
Hopefully, I'll see you in Heaven!
Until next time...

Same, But Different!
There's something I'll be discussing today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). It has to do with the music I shared with you, yesterday.
If you read LwL's entry from yesterday, then you'll realize that the music we sung was American, even though we were Canadian.
This truly touched my heart.
Why?
In the past, I mentioned that when I was a child, even though I was Canadian, my parents moved us to Detroit, Michigan, USA. We lived there for four (4) years.
Knowing I began school there, I learned much for USA. Including the music for My Country, 'Tis of Thee.
However, when we moved back to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, I was confused regarding that music.
Why? Because even though the lyrics I needed to sing were different, the music was the same!
It made it difficult for me to sing what I needed to sing in Canada, at first. As time went on, I was able to learn the new lyrics. However, at first, whenever I heard the music, I began singing the wrong lyrics. :( :)
If you listened to the music yesterday, then you will know sound of the music.
Here is a link to the music sung here in Canada when I was a child, that was entitled Royal Anthem of Canada - "God Save The Queen": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcLnB4qmtFU.
If you clicked on the link, and listened to the music, you'll be aware that the music was the same as what was discussed, yesterday.
Royal Anthem of Canada - God Save The Queen
Isn't it amazing that both lyrics actually refer to God? To me, it is wonderful!
Thinking of how in both countries, we sung music that referred to God, made me think of Psalm 138:5, "Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord.".
Amen! Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the Lord: for great is the glory of the Lord!
For living and attending school in USA and Canada, I had to sing, as I mentioned. But, I learned how to read and spell in USA. Then later, while living and attending school in Canada, I had to learn to read differently and spell differently.
It was wonderful that God helped me, as a child.
Every time I think of it, I thank Him. For He truly loved me, and was good to me.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...

“God save our gracious Queen
Long live our noble Queen,
God save The Queen:
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save The Queen.
Long live our noble Queen,
God save The Queen:
Send her victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save The Queen.
(the 1st verse was sung; the rest was sometimes sung, but not daily at school)
O Lord, our God, arise,
Scatter thine enemies,
And make them fall:
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On thee our hopes we fix:
God save us all.
Scatter thine enemies,
And make them fall:
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On thee our hopes we fix:
God save us all.
Thy choicest gifts in store,
On her be pleased to pour;
Long may she reign:
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice
God save The Queen.”
Isn't it amazing how the music was the same, yet the lyrics were different? On her be pleased to pour;
Long may she reign:
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice
God save The Queen.”
