Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I would like to say that today is a special day. Our Lord's Day!
It's a wonderful day to worship, to pray, and to look to God for everything.
Of course, as you probably know, I also enjoy doing worship, through music! So, I'll share with you some music, today.
There's something I also feel I have to mention.
Recently, I've had some terrible problems. And, I've done all I could, with and through God.
When I awoke, there was a song inside me. It was playing inside me as I woke up, so I heard it. It's actually a hymn, so I'll share it with you.
The hymn is called, My Hope is in the Lord. Here is a link for you to click on to hear the hymn and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSrjfQcczuY. The lyrics are below.
My Hope is in the Lord
My hope is in the Lord
Who gave Him-self for me
And paid the price
Of all my sin at Cal-va-ry.
For me He died;
For me He lives,
And everlasting life
And light He free-ly gives.
(This part was not recorded:
No merit of my own
His anger to suppress
My only hope is found
In Jesus' righteousness
For me He died;
For me He lives,
And everlasting life
And light He free-ly gives.)
And now for me He stands
Before the Father's throne
He shows His wounded hands
And names me as His own
For me He died;
For me He lives,
And everlasting life
And light He free-ly gives.
His grace has planned it all
'Tis mine but to believe
And recognize His work of love
And Christ receive
For me He died;
For me He lives,
And everlasting life
And light He free-ly gives.
Yes! For me... He died. For me... He lives. And, everlasting life and light He freely gives!
Thinking about everlasting life, made me think of John 3:36, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
Amen! He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
I praise God that I will not experience the wrath of God. Thank You, Lord!
Why?
Because I belong to Him.
Do you belong to Him? If not, please... do what I did.
All I had to do was trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
By doing that, I've gained salvation, and everlasting life.
Hallelujah!
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
