Look!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something.

It's something I've never before mentioned.  But, since I saw a video about this issue, I thought I would share it with you.  And, discuss it.

The video was shared with me on Facebook (FB).  Even though I have heard about what was discussed on the video, I hadn't seen what I saw this time.

Here is a link to the page that has a video by telegraph.co.uk that is entitled, Play your part:  help defeat dementiahttps://www.telegraph.co.uk/wellbeing/alzheimers- research/#.WrYPRzjSYJ0.facebook.

Hopefully, you clicked on the link, and saw what was written there.  And, of course, watched the video.

In case you weren't able to, I decided to share what was written (I copied/pasted):

The Telegraph has partnered with Alzheimer’s Research UK to promote their new video, exploring how dementia shatters lives and the crucial research the charity funds. To play your part, simply watch the video and read on for more information, real-life experiences and the science working to beat the disease for good

As I'm sure you realize, I watched the video.  It's regarding an orange.

However, it tells everyone who watches the video, about Dementia... and about Alzheimer's disease.

In case you need to find out about Dementia, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dementia.

In addition, if you need to find out about Alzheimer's disease, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alzheimer%27s_disease.

Have you ever known anyone who had either Dementia, or Alzheimer's disease?  I have.

Hopefully, you, or I will never live with those diseases.

But, the video was truly wonderful.  And, it asked everyone to support people, and the medical system to help people.

I believe we need to do things like this.  After all, people have supported many other diseases, and have supported people suffering.

Yes, we need to not just look after ourselves.  We also need to look after other people, in whatever way we can.

Thinking of this, made me think of  Philippians 2:4, "Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others."

Amen!  We need to not look at our own things only, but we also need to look also on the things of others.

For this, I'm sure God will bless each and everyone of us, who do.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
