Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I'll be doing today.
It's something that I do fairly regularly. Do you know what it is?
I'll be telling you about... movies!
Here are some movies, I've watched:
* Bye Bye Birdie, starring Janet Leigh, Dick Van Dyke and other actors. Feel free to click on this link, to check out this American musical comedy film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bye_Bye_Birdie_(film). This movie was lovely.
* Carmen Jones, starring Harry Belafonte, Pearl Bailey and other actors. You can click on this link, to check out this American musical film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmen_Jones_(film). I enjoyed this movie.
* Babes in Toyland, starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy and other actors. Would you like to check out this Laurel and Hardy musical film? If so, click on this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babes_in_Toyland_(1934_film). Even though this is a truly old movie, I adored it!
* The Idolmaker, starring Ray Sharkey, Peter Gallagher and other actors. Click on this link, to check out this American musical drama film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Idolmaker. Yes, I liked this movie, even though there was drama.
* Maid to Order, starring Ally Sheedy, Beverly D'Angelo and other actors. Please, click on this link to check out this American comedy/fantasy film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maid_to_Order. Even though this didn't say it had music, it did have lovely music.
Hmmm... I suppose you noticed that each of these movies had... music!
If you know me, you'll know that I adore music!
Yes, I truly enjoy singing. Not just songs that aren't Christian. But, also music that is Christian.
I must admit that I love to sing to the Lord.
Thinking of this, made me think of Psalm 95:1, "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation."
Amen! O come, let us sing unto the Lord. Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
As I said earlier, I love to sing to the Lord. After all, it's truly a blessing for me to make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
Yes, if you trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you will gain salvation and everlasting life.
I have.
Have you?
Hopefully, so. For if you have, then someday we'll see each other in Heaven.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
