Humble...

There's something I feel I need to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). 

It's not something that I've done.  It's not something my family has done.  It's not something that anyone else has done.

Well... except God.

What is it about?

Even though we who belong to God, suffer in some ways, He told us to not be surprised at the fiery trials we'll have in our lives (1 Peter 4:12).  Yes, this means that we who belong to Him, experience fiery trials in our lives.

Have you?

I'm sure you have.

I have.  Plus, so many brothers and sisters in the Lord that I know, also have.

God allows this to happen.  Just as He allowed it to happen many, many years ago.

Just as we read, in Deuteronomy 8:2, "And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no."

Amen!  And, though shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Yes, we can suffer.  But, God is there for us.  Always.

He allows trials to happen in our lives, not just so we can suffer.  But, also because we will become humbled.

Just as today's Bible verse states.

For this, we need to accept that life isn't easy.  But, God is good.

And, thank Him, for always being with us.

At least, those of us who belong to Him.

If you don't belong to God yet, all you need to do is to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and you shall gain salvation, have a relationship with Him, and gain everlasting life.

For this, we need to be thankful.
