Love for Injured Workers...

Today, I'll be discussing something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not something regarding me, personally.  Well, sort of, maybe.

It's regarding an article by rankandfile.ca that is entitled, Workers Comp is a Right!  Here's a link, for you to click on, to read the article:  http://rankandfile.ca/2017/09/11/workers-comp-is-a-right/.

When I began reading that article, I got the feeling it was in support of Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB).  However, as I read more and more, I realized that to me, it truly wasn't.

Why?

Because it told the truth regarding hurting injured workers!

If you clicked on the link and read the article you'll know that it stated this information (I copied/pasted):

From 2009 to 2015, the WSIB cut total benefits to injured workers by nearly $1.16 billion, a 33% reduction over the six-year period.
For injured workers, the WSIB’s austerity agenda means thousands of people every year are forced into poverty. A comprehensive study published in 2015 found that 46% of injured workers with a permanent disability from their work injury were at or near the poverty line, with 9% living in deep poverty. 38% of them had been unable to return to employment since they were injured, and yet the WSIB cut their benefits.
In addition to elevated poverty levels, a disproportionately high rate of injured workers also suffer from an array of mental health struggles following their injuries. A 2012 study found that nearly 50% of injured workers experienced symptoms of depression, while 37% had symptoms of anxiety. In many cases, dealing with the WSIB itself causes these mental health issues to develop. Many ONIWG members report that they are unable to even open mail or answer phone calls from the WSIB because of the intense anxiety and panic-like symptoms that are provoked by any interactions with the system.

Wow!  I'm sorry that the article created that coloured background because I copied.  Just so you know, the original article didn't have that colour.  But, I couldn't remove the colour.

Isn't it amazing how the information stated let us know that WSIB has cut total benefits to injured workers by nearly $1.16 billion, a 33% reduction over the six year period.

To me, it's also amazing that it stated that the WSIB's austerity agenda means thousands of people every year are forced into poverty.  And, that in 2015 it was found out that 46% of injured workers with a permanent disability from their work injury, were at or near the poverty line, with 9% living in deep poverty.

Also, it stated that a disproportionately high rate injured workers also suffer from an array of mental health struggles, following their injuries.

Sigh...

I know it's true.

After all, I've met and known many injured workers.  Plus, I've heard a lot about injured workers.  Because after all, I am also an injured worker.

As you can probably understand, I feel hurt that injured workers are being hurt.  Hurt, in so many ways.

Not just by the injury they've received.  But, also by what WSIB does to injured workers.

To me, what WSIB does is totally against what God would have them do.

Thinking about that, made me think of John 13:34, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

Amen!  Just as Jesus told us, "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."

WSIB does not do what Jesus expects people to do.  So, even those who work for WSIB aren't doing what God would expect them to do.

Why do I think this?

Well, WSIB and the workers who work for that organization don't truly help injured workers.  They do not give love to anyone, like Jesus loved us.  And, just as Jesus told us that we need to give love to others.

True.  They do not love one another.  If they did, they wouldn't be hurting injured workers.

Please, accept what I am referring to.  And, please... join me in prayer

Pray that workers will not become injured as they do work.

Pray that injured workers will be treated better and not any worse than they have been treated by WSIB and those who work for WSIB.

Pray that God will change the hearts and minds of everyone/anyone who works for WSIB.  For, if this happens, then WSIB and it's workers will stop hurting people, and will instead, give love to injured workers.

Thank you, for joining me in prayer.

May God bless you.

Look!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something.

It's something I've never before mentioned.  But, since I saw a video about this issue, I thought I would share it with you.  And, discuss it.

The video was shared with me on Facebook (FB).  Even though I have heard about what was discussed on the video, I hadn't seen what I saw this time.

Here is a link to the page that has a video by telegraph.co.uk that is entitled, Play your part:  help defeat dementiahttps://www.telegraph.co.uk/wellbeing/alzheimers- research/#.WrYPRzjSYJ0.facebook.

Hopefully, you clicked on the link, and saw what was written there.  And, of course, watched the video.

In case you weren't able to, I decided to share what was written (I copied/pasted):

The Telegraph has partnered with Alzheimer’s Research UK to promote their new video, exploring how dementia shatters lives and the crucial research the charity funds. To play your part, simply watch the video and read on for more information, real-life experiences and the science working to beat the disease for good

As I'm sure you realize, I watched the video.  It's regarding an orange.

However, it tells everyone who watches the video, about Dementia... and about Alzheimer's disease.

In case you need to find out about Dementia, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dementia.

In addition, if you need to find out about Alzheimer's disease, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alzheimer%27s_disease.

Have you ever known anyone who had either Dementia, or Alzheimer's disease?  I have.

Hopefully, you, or I will never live with those diseases.

But, the video was truly wonderful.  And, it asked everyone to support people, and the medical system to help people.

I believe we need to do things like this.  After all, people have supported many other diseases, and have supported people suffering.

Yes, we need to not just look after ourselves.  We also need to look after other people, in whatever way we can.

Thinking of this, made me think of  Philippians 2:4, "Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others."

Amen!  We need to not look at our own things only, but we also need to look also on the things of others.

For this, I'm sure God will bless each and everyone of us, who do.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Amen!  Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

Humble...

There's something I feel I need to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not something that I've done.  It's not something my family has done.  It's not something that anyone else has done.

Well... except God.

What is it about?

Even though we who belong to God, suffer in some ways, He told us to not be surprised at the fiery trials we'll have in our lives (1 Peter 4:12).  Yes, this means that we who belong to Him, experience fiery trials in our lives.

Have you?

I'm sure you have.

I have.  Plus, so many brothers and sisters in the Lord that I know, also have.

God allows this to happen.  Just as He allowed it to happen many, many years ago.

Just as we read, in Deuteronomy 8:2, "And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no."

Amen!  And, though shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

Yes, we can suffer.  But, God is there for us.  Always.

He allows trials to happen in our lives, not just so we can suffer.  But, also because we will become humbled.

Just as today's Bible verse states.

For this, we need to accept that life isn't easy.  But, God is good.

And, thank Him, for always being with us.

At least, those of us who belong to Him.

I do.

Do you?

If you don't belong to God yet, all you need to do is to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and you shall gain salvation, have a relationship with Him, and gain everlasting life.

For this, we need to be thankful.

Thank You, Lord!

Happy Memorial Day!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL),
I want to wish
my
American
family and friends...

Happy Memorial Day!

In case you're not sure what
Memorial Day...
is, then please click on this link, to check it out:

To me, and to many other people
Memorial Day...
is very important.

After all, many people in USA
have done work for their government and citizens
by
being in the military.

By being in the military,
many people have worked hard to help protect their country.
Not just USA military people.
But, also military people in other countries, as well.
For them, I am also truly thankful!

Even so,
those who are veterans have had a past of doing all they can for their country, as well.
For them, I am truly thankful!

After all,
there have been many times when military people and/or veterans
have been at...
war.

Thinking of this, made me think of...
Ecclesiastes 3:8,
"A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."

Amen!
There is a time in every season
and time to every purpose
here on earth...
just as we read, in the Bible.

Military people
and
veterans
have done all they could.
Thank you!

Knowing this,
I believe God will bless them.

Thank You, Lord!

Now, I'll remind you to...

Happy Memorial Day!

Until next time...

Because...

There's something I'll discuss today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's what we need to do every SONday!

What is it?

Worship!

As I've said in the past, I worship.  Do you?  I hope so!

Also like I've said in the past, I also enjoy worshiping through music.  :)

Last SONday, I mentioned that while I was searching for the non-Christian song that I shared with you, a couple of weeks ago, I had found that song I shared with you, last SONday.  I also mentioned that I had found a second (2nd) song.  So, I decided to share that with you, today.

The song is non-Christian, also.  It's by Nat King Cole and is entitled, Because You're Mine.  Here is a link for you to click on, to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOPc6hpSulc.  The lyrics are below.

Because You're Mine

Because you're mine
The brightest star I see
Looks down, my love, and envies me
Because you're mine, because you're mine

Because you're mine
The breeze that hurries by
Becomes a melody and why?
Because you're mine, because you're mine

I only know for as long as I may live
I'll only live for the kiss that you alone may give me

And when we kiss
That isn't thunder, dear
It's only my poor heart you hear and its applause
Because you're mine

I only know for as long as I may live
I'll only live for the kiss that you alone may give me

And when we kiss
That isn't thunder, dear
It's only my poor heart you hear and its applause
Because you're mine

Amen!  Because You're mine... it's only my poor heart You, hear... Lord.  But, because I'm Yours, the brightest star I see looks down, my love, and envies me, because You're mine.

Yes, I believe that this song came to me, not just that God loves me, but also because I love God.

Thinking of about my love for God, I thought of 1 John 4:19, "We love him, because he first loved us."

Amen!  We love Him, because He first loved us!

He loved us so much, even before we were scheduled to be born, that He sent His only begotten Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, to earth.  Jesus gave His life, and paid the price for the sin of all the world, of all who would believe upon Him.

By trusting in/believing upon Him, we then gain salvation and will live an eternal life.  And, when our life on earth ends, we'll spent eternity in Heaven.

For this, I'm thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Be Not Afraid...

Today's a day, when I'll be sharing with you some things, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Do you have any idea what it is I'll be sharing with you?

You may think it is movies.  Yes, it is... movies!

However, since in a couple of days, on Monday, May 28th, 2018 people in USA will be celebrating Memorial Day... I decided to share with you some war movies!

Here are some movies I watched:

I Deal in Danger, starring Robert Goulet and Christine Carere.  If you'd like to click on this link, you can check out this American Deluxe Color spy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Deal_in_Danger.  Even though it is a war movie, I enjoyed it.

Decision Before Dawn, starring Richard Basehart, Gary Merrill and other actors.  Click on this link, if you'd like to check out this American war filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decision_Before_Dawn.  I'd watch it, again.

A Man Called Sarge, starring Gary KroegerGretchen German and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American parody film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Man_Called_Sarge.  To me, it was a good war movie.

Destination Gobi, starring Richard Widmark, Don Taylor and other actors.  Please click on this link, to check out this American Technicolor WW2 filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Destination_Gobi.  I enjoyed it.

A Soldier's Story, starring Howard E. Rollins, Jr. and Adolph Caesar.  Check out this American drama film, by clicking on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Soldier%27s_Story.  I must admit, I enjoyed this very different, special war movie.

Wow!  Movies about war!

I believe we all need to watch movies about war.

Why?

This way, not only can we see things regarding wars.  But, we can realize that people have gone out and battled against enemies.

Thinking of this, made me refer to Deuteronomy 20:1, "When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the Lord thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt."

Amen!  When you go out to battle against enemies, be not afraid of them... for the Lord thy God is with you.

We must be thankful to God.

Why?

We need to trust in Him.

Even though we may have battled against enemies, or had relatives who fought in wars, He has always been with us.  And, has always provided for us.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Evil! & Prayer Request...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I feel I need to discuss another issue.

It's something that happened that truly broke my heart.

Please click on this link to read the article by globalchristiannews.org that is entitled, Sudan church pastor murdered with family for preaching the gospelhttp://www.globalchristiannews.org/article/sudan-church-pastor-murdered-with-family-for-preaching-the-gospel/.

Did you click on that link?  Did you read that article?

Well, if you didn't, you can read the entire article, here (I copied/pasted):

Masked attackers murdered a church pastor in Darfur, western Sudan, along with his wife and two daughters in the early hours of 2 March 2018.

Before killing him, they demanded to know why he had not heeded their warnings to stop preaching about Jesus.

The attackers forced their way into Pastor Stephen Toms Abur’s house in the early hours of the morning. They assembled the family in the living room and asked Pastor Stephen to explain why he had not responded to their warnings to stop preaching.

In response, the Pastor  started telling them about Jesus. Barnabas Fund’s contact writes, “They became furious and started to kick him and beat him up seriously.”

The attackers then tried to force the pastor to ‘violate’ his daughters, Rachel and Priscilla. He refused. “They then began by killing the girls first, then their mother [Beatrice], and finally the pastor himself. They were cut in pieces as though they were cows.”

A young boy who worked for the family witnessed the murders and only escaped death by hiding in the ceiling of the house.

After killing the Pastor  and his family, the attackers set fire to the church, where hundreds of Christian converts were sleeping; they have been disowned by their Muslim families and have nowhere else to go. Although some were seriously hurt, none died, which Barnabas Fund’s contact describes as a moment of divine intervention.

Sigh...

Are you happy about Islam?

Are you willing to allow Muslims to have rights in your country?

Is this what YOU want to happen in your country, at some time in the future?

Hopefully, not.

Hopefully, you would rather have truth spoken.  If you don't feel that way, then all you are doing is hurting people.

Just as we read, in 2 Peter 2:2, "And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."

Amen!  And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

Please, join me in prayer.

If you join me in prayer, I believe God will bless you.

Please, pray that all unbelievers, including Muslims, will become born again Christians.

Please, pray that governments of various countries will allow people to speak truth, and stop Islam from hurting and murdering non-Muslims.

Thank you.

Blessings.

My Goodness! Please, Pray...

As you're probably aware, there's something I need to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  Well, actually, there is something I need to share with you, also!

Here is an article by crisismagazine.com that is entitled, Whose Side Are They On?:  https://www.crisismagazine.com/2018/whose-side-are-they-on#.WrW8rw5io3t.facebook.

Did you click on the link for that article?  Did you read the article?

Hopefully, you did.  In case you weren't able to, I decided to share some of what was stated, with you (I copied/pasted):

As I’ve often observed, if Islam ever succeeds in subjugating America it won’t be primarily through force of arms, but through cultural jihad (aka stealth jihad).

For cultural jihad to succeed, however, it’s necessary that there are enough people in the target culture who are willing to ignore it or even to facilitate it. Put more bluntly, there have to be enough people who are either too complacent to notice the threat or so stupid that they mistake the spread of Islam for a positive development.

It also stated (I copied/pasted):

The chief aim of cultural jihad is the imposition of sharia law. And one of the key features of sharia is its blasphemy laws. Where sharia rules, criticism of Islam or its prophet is a crime. It may be hard to imagine blasphemy laws being introduced to the U.S., but criticism of Islam is already a crime in much of Europe. If blasphemy laws did come to the U.S.—if it became a crime to criticize Islam—where would the Simmons librarians stand? Whose side would they take? Would they suddenly think, “This has gone too far. I never realized where all this would lead”? Not likely. If you think “Merry Christmas” is a micro-aggression against Muslims, you’ve already got one foot planted in the sharia camp.

Of course, the librarians of Simmons College are a small group. But it’s easy to imagine that much larger groups in our society would go along with a law limiting the right to question Islam. Take registered Democrats, for instance. That’s a pretty big group. A 2017 Rasmussen poll showed that “Democrats are more likely to think that Muslims are mistreated in America than to think that Christians are persecuted in the Islamic world.” Considering that 90,000 Christians died for their faith in 2016 compared to a reported 127 Muslim victims of assault in the U.S., that’s quite a disconnect from reality. But of course, it’s not reality that rules in much of modern America, it’s the narrative. For many Democrats, anti-blasphemy laws would be seen as simply another form of affirmative action—just compensation for years of hatred against Muslims.

Here's more of what was stated (I copied/pasted):

On the other hand, Facebook has been positively protective of Muslims. Shortly after the Paris and San Bernadino attacks, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg wrote:
If you’re a Muslim in this community, as the leader of Facebook I want you to know that you are always welcome here and that we will protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you.

In a similar vein, Facebook Vice President, Joel Kaplan, told Pakistan’s interior minister that Facebook will “remove … hateful and provocative material that incites violence and terrorism.” This was not meant as a promise to remove Islamist terrorist sites, but as a promise to remove criticism of Islam that might incite “violence and terrorism.” In response, the interior minister told Kaplan:
The entire Muslim Ummah was greatly disturbed and has serious concerns over the misuse of social media platforms to propagate blasphemous content… Pakistan appreciates the understanding shown by the Facebook administration…

In short, Facebook has shown itself quite willing to enforce Islam’s blasphemy laws.

Oooeee!

My goodness!

Did you read, and realize that people are falsely involved in supporting Islam?  I believe so.

Did I write that?  No.  But, I agree.

Why?

I agree, because there are many people who are hurting others, because they do not understand the truth about Islam.  And, they don't want anyone to learn about Islam.  Or, what Muslims are expecting, in this world.

Hopefully, you understand that those people who are hurting others, and trying to not let anyone learn about Islam don't realize that they are falsely hurting others, who are trying to help people understand the truth.

Thinking about that, made me think of 2 Peter 2:1, "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction."

Amen!  There ARE false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Please, join me in prayer.

Pray that the false prophets who are falsely teaching people, and who will hurt others, will come to realize that they are wrong.

Pray those who are falsely teaching, will stop hurting others.

Pray that troubles won't continue to be received.

Pray that all who do not belong to God, because they have not yet gained salvation/everlasting life, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... will become born again Christians.  Not just Muslims, but each and every other unbeliever.

Thank you for joining me in prayer, for USA and other countries in the world, truly need this prayer.

May God bless you.

Who?

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there is something I feel I need to discuss.

Its not really something that I want to give you information about.  Even though I have been going through terrible issues in my life.  But, I will say that I am thankful that God has helped me.

He has done something for me, that truly helped me.

For this, I am truly thankful.  Thank You, Lord!

You see, even though life isn't easy, God is there for us.

For us, who belong to Him.  For us, who have trusted in/believed upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, and have gained salvation, and everlasting life.

It's been such a blessing belonging to Him.

Even though terrible things have happened to/for me, nothing has ever taken me away from Him.  For this, I'm thankful.  Thank You, Lord!

Thinking of this, made me think of Romans 8:35-39, " Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Amen!  His love for us, is so strong.  So real.  And, helps us each and every day of our life.  Even if our life isn't easy or doing well.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

As we read in the Bible...no one.  No one can separate us from the love of Christ.

He as made us into conquerors.  And, He has persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Amen!

As I mentioned earlier, for this, I am truly thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Scammer? Scammer!

There is something I feel I need to let you know about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It may be something that has happened to you.  But, it may not have happened to you.

What happened?

In the past, I've received calls from scammers.

Scammers who have called me, claiming to be from the police, or from our Canadian government.  And, I have even received scams by fax.

But this last call seemed very different.

The person calling asked to speak with me.  I asked who it was.  The man gave me a name that I couldn't understand.

I asked again what his name was.  He sounded like he was from a very foreign country, and I truly didn't hear his name.

Not just because of the way he spoke.  But, also due to the noise in the background.

So, I asked him what that noise was.

Did he respond?  No.

He hung up.  For this, I am truly thankful.

However, please know that before he hung up, he had asked me about my credit card.  Just so you know, I didn't respond regarding that.  It was then that I asked him about the noise.

Sigh...

Afterwards, I went online to check my bank information.  I found out everything seemed to be okay.

For this, I'm thankful.

But, I have to admit that I think it is so awful that people sin.  Especially, when they want to hurt others.

This type of scamming is truthfully sinful.  For whoever is doing things like this aren't supporting God.  They are supporting Satan... the devil.

Is this good?  No.

Just as we read, in Matthew 6:24, "No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon."

Amen!  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

This person who sinfully called me, sounded like he was from India, or somewhere near there.  He may have thought he was supporting his god, or doing things to help himself.  He truly wasn't.  He wasn't supporting God.

He can't serve both God and mammon.  Or, God and Satan.

Nor, can I.  Nor, can you.  Nor, can him.  Nor, can anyone else

If I could have spoken with him much longer, I would have asked him to come to Christ.

Everyone in this world, needs to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  If you do, you'll gain salvation, everlasting life, and have a blessed relationship with Him, after repenting from sin.

If you do, you will truly be blessed.

Until next time...

Reminded!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I feel I need to remind you that today is a special day.

It's SONday!

It's the day when we need to worship.

Not just with our church family.  But, also with music.

There's something I need to let you know about.

For a while, I've again felt that God is letting me know what He thinks.  Why do I feel this way?

When I have woken up every day for a while, there's been some music in my heart and mind.  Yes, I could hear it, just so you know.

The song is by Connie Francis, and is entitled, Where The Boys Are.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5t8sxydm3Is.  The lyrics are below.

Where The Boys Are

Where the boys are, someone waits for me
A smilin' face, a warm embrace, two arms to hold me tenderly

Where the boys are, my true love will be
He's walkin' down some street in town and I know he's lookin' there for me

In the crowd of a million people I'll find my valentine
And then I'll climb to the highest steeple and tell the world he's mine

Till he holds me I'll wait impatiently
Where the boys are, where the boys are
Where the boys are, someone waits for me

Till he holds me I'll wait impatiently
Where the boys are, where the boys are
Where the boys are, someone waits for me

Do you have any idea why I believe God has placed this song inside me?

Just so you know, I hadn't heard this song in a very, very, very long time.  Yet, it's been playing while I was asleep and woke up for several days.

As I've said in the past, I believe that this is a way that God speaks to me.

Even though I won't explain why I've been feeling not great for a while, and somewhat unloved, I believe God used this song to remind me that He is waiting for me.

I must admit, that after I first woke up with this song happening inside me, I was shocked.  So, I prayed.

When it happened over and over and over again, for several days, I believe He placed it on my heart that He was reminding me that I already tell the world He's mine.  Plus, that He's looking at me, and waiting for me.

I believe He reminded me that He wanted me to stop being upset with what was happening in my life, for He loves me, and is truly there for me and will provide for me.

Just as we read, in Revelation 21:3-4, "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

Hopefully, after reading today's Bible verses, you can see that God is with men, and they shall be His people, and He shall be their God.

Amen!  He's my God.  And, He wanted to remind me of that He's there for me, and what He'll do for me, since He's waiting for me.

He shall wipe away all the tears from my eyes.  And, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain:  for the former things are passed away.

Amen!  For this, I thank Him.  And, always will.

Thank You, Lord!

Let Us!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I'll be doing today.

It's something that I do fairly regularly.  Do you know what it is?

I'll be telling you about... movies!

Here are some movies, I've watched:

Bye Bye Birdie, starring Janet Leigh, Dick Van Dyke and other actors.  Feel free to click on this link, to check out this American musical comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bye_Bye_Birdie_(film).  This movie was lovely.

Carmen Jones, starring Harry Belafonte, Pearl Bailey and other actors.  You can click on this link, to check out this American musical filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmen_Jones_(film).  I enjoyed this movie.

Babes in Toyland, starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy and other actors.  Would you like to check out this Laurel and Hardy musical film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babes_in_Toyland_(1934_film).  Even though this is a truly old movie, I adored it!

The Idolmaker, starring Ray Sharkey, Peter Gallagher and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American musical drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Idolmaker.  Yes, I liked this movie, even though there was drama.

Maid to Order, starring Ally Sheedy, Beverly D'Angelo and other actors.  Please, click on this link to check out this American comedy/fantasy film:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maid_to_Order.  Even though this didn't say it had music, it did have lovely music.

Hmmm... I suppose you noticed that each of these movies had... music!

If you know me, you'll know that I adore music!

Yes, I truly enjoy singing.  Not just songs that aren't Christian.  But, also music that is Christian.

I must admit that I love to sing to the Lord.

Thinking of this, made me think of Psalm 95:1, "O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation."

Amen!  O come, let us sing unto the Lord.  Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

As I said earlier, I love to sing to the Lord.  After all, it's truly a blessing for me to make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Yes, if you trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you will gain salvation and everlasting life.

I have.

Have you?

Hopefully, so.  For if you have, then someday we'll see each other in Heaven.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Terrorists Being Rewarded...

Please realize that from time to time, I let you know here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) about things that are happening.

Not just here in Canada.  But, also in various places in the world.

Today, is a day when I'll be letting you know about something happening.  It's happening in Israel.

The article is by unitedwithisrael.org and is entitled, Palestinians Increase Payments to Terrorists in 2018 by $56 Millionhttps://unitedwithisrael.org/palestinians-increase-payments-to-terrorists-in-2018-by-56-m/?utm_source=MadMimi&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Palestinians+Increase+Terrorist+Pay+by+%2456+Million%3B+Czech+President+Wants+Embassy+Move+to+Jerusalem+Expedited&utm_campaign=20180308_m144410794_Palestinians+Increase+Terrorist+Pay+by+%2456+Million%3B+Czech+President+Wants+Embassy+Move+to+Jerusalem+Expedited&utm_term=more_btn_light_png.

Did you read the article?  If so, then you'll know it stated (I copied/pasted):

A bill that would slash funding to the Palestinian Authority (PA) according to the sum the PA pays out to convicted terrorists and their families was approved in its first reading by the Knesset plenum on Monday.
Fifty-two lawmakers supported the bill, introduced by Member of Knesset (MK) Elazar Stern, which would deduct payments paid out by the PA to Palestinian prisoners and their relatives from tax revenues Israel transfers annually to the PA. Only 10 lawmakers voted against the legislation.
Israel collects an estimated $2.1 billion in tax revenues for the PA, in accordance with the 1994 Paris Protocol, which governs economic relations with the PA, including import taxes on goods passing through Israel to the Palestinians.
It also stated (I copied/pasted):

The PA paid terrorists and their families more than $347 million in 2017. The sum will now jump to $403 million.
Dichter explained that the increase “means that the PA will employ more terrorists as PA workers. Except that the terrorists who work for the PA have a special quality – they are employed both as dead and living terrorists.”
Murderers, like the two who killed five of the Fogel family members in 2011, “are heroes to the PA. This is not a whim. It’s in the PA’s constitution,” Dichter added, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Sigh...

This truly breaks my heart.

After all, this means that terrorists are being rewarded for doing what they have done hurting anyone who is not Islamic.  Anyone who has not become a Muslim.

To me, this shows us that we are truly in end times.  And, are experiencing perilous times.

Just as we read,in 2 Timothy 3:1, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come."

Amen!  In the last days, perilous times shall come.

What can we do about this?

Nothing... other, than pray to God, to help us deal with perilous times.  And, do all we can to help people become born again Christians.

Why?

In the last days, at some point in time, when no one knows about it, the rapture will happen.

Buried Christians will raise up from their graves, to go to be with Jesus.  Then, any of us alive born again Christians will raise up to be with Jesus.

However, anyone who is not Christian, won't raise up to be with Jesus.

If they have not trusted in/believed upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, they will not have gained salvation, or everlasting life.  For sure, they will surely suffer here on earth.  And, for eternity.

I've gained salvation.

Have you?

If not yet, please do so, today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Marijuana & Drivers

There is something I feel I need to discuss, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not about me personally, even though I live in Canada.  It's about what our government has done and is in the process of doing.

Here's a link to an article by cbc.ca that is entitled, Liberals to table legal defense of crackdown on impaired drivinghttp://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/impaired-driving-legislation-legal-challenges-1.4086439.

Hopefully, you read the article.  If you did, you'll know it stated this information (I copied/pasted):

The Liberal government will soon table a defense of its sweeping reforms on drug and alcohol-impaired driving in Canada.
The charter statement will explain why Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould believes the legislation upholds Canadians' constitutional rights. It was scheduled to be tabled in the House of Commons Wednesday afternoon, but has been delayed due to a late change in the minister's schedule.
The bill was tabled last month at the same time as legislation to legalize marijuana, and includes tougher penalties and new powers for police to demand mandatory roadside breath samples. The government has maintained it is charter-proof, but many legal experts say new provisions go too far and violate fundamental rights.
Edmonton-based defence lawyer Steve Smith expects the bill will face a swift series of challenges, of which many will be successful. One of the biggest will come to a proposed mandatory roadside breath sample, on the grounds it breaches Section 8 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which protects against unreasonable search and seizure.
The bill could ultimately "rise or fall" under a test around Section 1 of the charter, which allows imposed limits to an individual's rights as justified for the public good, Smith said.
Right now, an officer must have reasonable grounds to suspect a driver is impaired before demanding a breathalyzer. Under the bill, anyone could be required to blow after being lawfully stopped in their car.

Mandatory breath sample

"They can make a demand for a breath sample without having any reason to believe there is any alcohol in the person's body at all. They can do essentially random roadside tests on drivers," Smith said.
Wow!  If this actually happens, I'll be happy.

Why?

Well, in the past, when my husband was alive, we actually phoned the police to report seeing some people driving and smoking marijuana while driving.  At that time, we found out that the police didn't take much effort in checking out whether or not the drivers were basically impaired by smoking marijuana while driving.

To be honest with you, I'm glad this may happen where roadside tests may be able to be done.  However, I am not happy that marijuana has or will become legal to use, here in Canada, just as our Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau promised during the election time.

I will say that I believe that if marijuana is legal to use/smoke, I believe there will be many, many more drivers who may become dangerous to each and every person.  Not just to other drivers.  But, also people who are walking and could be hurt, or killed by drivers that are not in control of themselves.

Talk about being evil... by making something become dangerous and legal, which may help people do something that may possibly hurt others.  Or, themselves!

Thinking of this, made me think of 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners."

Amen!  Evilness corrupts good manners.

Those who use marijuana and/or other drugs and drive will fraudulently and illegally drive, just as some drunk drivers do.  And, may possibly hurt and/or kill others, rather than not allow it, to protect people.

Please... join me in prayer.

Please... pray that God will protect any/all of us who are not using marijuana, and/or other drugs, from people who will be using it.

Please... thank God for protecting and providing for us.

May God bless you, for praying.

Thank you.

Thank You, Lord!

Hallelujah!

Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday.  If you didn't, I suggest you read it, before you read the rest of today's LwL entry.

Why?

Well, if you read about the song I shared with you yesterday, then you'd know about the song.  And, some of the lyrics.

The lyrics talked about having plenty of sunshine.  That day, was truly full of sunshine.  It was lovely!

Both the song and the lyrics affected me.  And, I truly trusted God.  Just as you probably are aware.

Guess what?

God provided for me!  Yes, He did!

In the past, a friend tried to get in touch with a friend of his, who was a truck driver.  But, he had trouble reaching him.

I got a call from that man who is a truck driver.  He called me on that day that I let you know about the song I shared with you, yesterday.  And, found out that he was also a mechanic.

This call didn't just make that day wonderful.  It also made me feel wonderful!

You see, I've had trouble with both my vehicles.  And, there's work that needs to be done on them.

The mechanic who had done work on my conversion van, had told me before any of this happened, that due to a back problem and knowing his equipment didn't raise my van enough for him, he wouldn't be able to do anymore work on my van.

Plus, the mechanic I've had in the past for my other mini van, has not even returned my call.  So, I wondered if maybe he didn't want to work on my van.

When I heard from this man that called me, I realized that God was providing for me.  We had such a wonderful conversation.  And, he made sure he would do what he could to help me, with my vehicles.

Please know that I had felt rather unimportant.  Not just because of my vehicles issues.  But, also concerning other parts of my life.

But, I trusted God.

I not only prayed.  I also spoke with Him, so many times.  And, always let Him know that I wasn't going to worry.  That I trusted Him to provide.  And, He did!  Hallelujah!

Thinking of that, made me think of 1 Peter 5:6, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:"

Amen!  I was humbled, and trusted God.  He exalted me.  He provided for me.  And, I was blessed by this!

Believe me when I say that I am thankful.

I always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Important...

Like I've done at times in the past, I'll be sharing something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

What is it?  It's something that happens to me, off and on.

It's... music!

This music isn't something that I thought I could share with you on a SONday, like I quite often do.  I must admit that even after thinking over and over about it, it didn't relate to me only about... Jesus, the way some other music does.

Why?  I have no idea!

However, it is a song that's extremely old.  I must admit that I hadn't heard it in a long time.

I believe God placed it in my heart and soul.  Yes, I have woken up with it playing inside me.  And, God does that quite often to let me know about things.

The song is entitled, Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah.  Here is a link for you to click on to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMWp2f9TOo4.  The lyrics are below.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
My, oh, my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin' my way
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!

Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder
It's the truth, it's actual
Everything is satisfactual.

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!
Yes, sir

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
My, oh, my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin' my way
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!

Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder
It's the truth, it's actual
Everything is satisfactual.

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Wonderful feeling, feelin' this way!

Mister Bluebird's on my shoulder
It is the truth, it's actual, hmmm...

Where is that Bluebird?  Hmmm...

Everything is satisfactual

Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!

Wow!  You aren't aware of this, but the first (1st) time I awoke with this music inside me, it was a day with plenty of sunshine.

Yes, it seemed it would be a wonderful day.  Even though I had been experiencing days that weren't wonderful.  And, had been thinking about my life a lot at that time, since it seemed to be continuing to fall apart.

Thinking of all this, made me think of Matthew 6:25, "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?"

Amen!  It was said to me... Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

Yes, life is important.  It's more important than anything we can eat, drink or wear.

God is very important to me.  And, I'm thankful that He loves me.

Thank You, Lord!

And The Devil Smiled...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about something.

It's something I saw when I was on Facebook (FB).

In fact, a friend shared a link with me, as a message.  When I had time to click on it, and watch the video and listen to it, I have to admit, it truly touched my heart.

Here is a link from the FB page, and the video was entitled, Todd Starnes - It's not about gun control, folkshttps://www.facebook.com/ToddStarnesFNC/videos/1850726495002174/.

If you're not able to click on that link and see/listen to that video, then you may want to click on this YouTube video entitled Todd Starnes:  And The Devil Smiled:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZMcQnYPuN0.

Just so you know, what was said on both of those videos was exactly the same.  The only difference, is what can be seen.

If you watched the FB video, you'll have seen about a high school that had a day when shooting happened.  The YouTube video only has a pic of Todd Starnes.  But, as I mentioned, the message was the same.

What did the message talk about?  It was about what happened at a school in USA, where people were murdered.

Just so you know, I didn't copy/paste.  If you listened, you'll know that Todd stated (hopefully, I typed well!)...

Another American high school was turned into a killing field, and the nation wonders why.

Well I'm going to answer that question for you, and the answer may leave you a bit unsettled.  You see I believe there is a God, but I also believe there is a devil and I see his hand at work here.

We've raised a generation to believe that truth is relative.  And, that there is no right or wrong.  And, the devil smiled.

They kicked God out of public schools, banned Bibles and prayer.  And, the devil smiled.

We've destroyed the traditional family, broken homes, raising broken kids.  And, the devil smiled.

There are no consequences for bad behaviour, no personal responsibility.  And, the devil smiled.

Our movies, and music, and games glorify violence and gore, relationships poisoned by pornography.  And, the devil smiled.

What happened in Parkland, Florida is about wickedness, a war with the forces of darkness, good versus evil.  Our land is wounded, where people suffering.

But we have turned our back on the person who promised to heal our land.  The politicians and pundits would have you believe this is not about God, it's about politics or mental illness or gun control.  And, the devil smiled.

Wow!  To me, it was wonderful what Todd Starnes quoted!

Especially, since he made it clear to us that he believed the devil smiled.

Yes, I agree with Todd Starnes that the devil has smiled a lot.  Especially, since life hasn't been focused much on God.

But, we shouldn't focus on Satan, who is the devil.

Just as we read, in Ephesians 4:27, "Neither give place to the devil."

Amen!  Neither give place to the devil.

Focus on God... and Him, alone!

Please join me in prayer.  After all, there are many people who need to focus on God!

We can pray that all unbelievers will come to Jesus Christ, and gain salvation and everlasting life, by trusting in/believing upon Him.

For whoever truly belongs to Him, will never give place to the devil.  But, will focus on God!

If you pray along with me, then I believe God will bless you.

Thank you!

Thank You, Lord!

I am sharing with you a link:

Yes, we need to...
honour
our parents, and today,
we need to honour our
Mother...
since it is...

Thinking of this, made me think of...
Ephesians 6:2,
"Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;"

Amen!

Honour your...
Mother!

And,
wish her...

Happy Mother's Day!

Romance For Women...

Today, I'll be doing something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), just as have done often in the past.,

Can you guess what it is?

Maybe, you can.  If you can't, I'll let you know that I will share and discuss... movies!

Here are movies, I've watched:

The Best of Everything, starring Hope Lange, Diane Baker and other actors.  Click on this link if you'd like to check out this romantic drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Best_of_Everything_(film).  It was a good movie.

Sliding Doors, starring Gwyneth Paltrow, John Hannah and other actors.  If you would like to check out this romantic drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sliding_Doors.  This movie was stressful, but good.

Radio Inside, starring William McNamara, Elisabeth Shue and Dylan Walsh.  Would you like to check on this American drama film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Inside.  Even though there was sinfulness, I enjoyed seeing romance in this drama movie.

Kiss the Bride, starring Alyssa Milano, Sean Patrick Flanery and other actors.  Check out this Italian film, by clicking on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiss_the_Bride_(2002_film).  It was good to watch this romantic film.

In Love and War, starring Sandra Bullock, Chris O'Donnell and other actors.  If you click on it, this link can help you check out this romantic drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Love_and_War_(1996_film).  It was emotional, but good to watch.

To me, it was nice seeing romance in these movies.  Especially, since tomorrow is Happy Mother's Day!

Women that are married realize how important love is.

Just as we read, in Ephesians 5:28, "So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself."

Amen!  Men need to love their wives.  He that loves his wife, loves himself.

Love is so very important.  Important to every person.

Not just love from other people.  But, also love from God.

Yes, God loves us.

For this, I'm thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

H.B. A! & In a Nutshell...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I'd like to wish my granddaughter, A... Happy Birthday!  I'm looking forward to seeing you and spending time with you!  Happy Birthday!

Hopefully, you read LwL last Friday, May 4th, 2018.  If you didn't, I would suggest you do, now... before you read the rest of this entry.

What I'm sharing with you today, is the other half of the article I wrote about 7 years ago that I shared with you last week.

You'll know that I wrote about an article and an issue I believe is important to everyone.  It is not easily accessible to all, through the computerized on-line version of The Windsor Star, even though the article was in the printed version.

Why is this happening?

The only thing I can think of is that people need to understand that anyone who speaks truth about Islamic Terrorists is open to be considered enemies of Allah, as the article in question calls all infidels (unbelievers).  Of course, all unbelievers of Islam are considered to be infidels, as well.

Meaning that everyone who speaks out regarding Islamic terrorists and their intentions, are open to retribution by these people.

If you click on the link on last week's entry, then click on the story link, it will bring you to another link, where you have to click on yet another link before you actually find the article to read it.

Yes, eventually you will find the article.  But, only if you know the article exists and are actually looking to retrieve it; like I did, because I knew it had been published in the paper edition, after reading it.  Otherwise, it is obscure.

In any case, here is the article that was printed in The Windsor Star, Saturday March 5th, 2011 on page A11, even if it is not on The Windsor Star's personal site:

http://www.monstersandcritics.com/news/europe/news/article_1623698.php/Chechen-terrorist-leader-calls-for-holy-war-against-Russia

Talk about being obscure.

I realize that there are some who feel the need to speak up, but are afraid to do so.  I also recognize that there can be repercussions for those who speak up.  Again, if this is the reason people are afraid to speak out, it is a sad day in Canada.

After all, we in Canada have religious freedom.  We also have freedom of the press.  We citizens have the right to think about and speak out about issues that are important.

(I added this remark today:  Now, I must let you know that even though we had freedom here in Canada, our freedom has been partially taken away.)

I believe terrorism is important news.  Eventually, it will affect every one of us, whether we live in Canada, USA or elsewhere in the world, for it is spreading like wildfire.

In my opinion, we all need to be watchful.  We need to be speaking out about these issues, for they affect our very laws and governing powers that be.

While we Bible-believing Christians are to look up, for our redemption draweth nigh and while we know God is truly in control, we also know that we have been commanded to plant those seeds for Christ, to do the work God commanded us to do.  Preach the gospel to all the creatures of the world.  So, many can come to Christ.

We need to speak truth, so that others can see the dangers that lie ahead.  So others can realize that they are not entities unto themselves.  So others can realize they need a Saviour.  And, there is only One, who can save.  And, that is Jesus.

If you don't know Jesus as your personal Saviour, I encourage you to come to Christ, today.  It's simple.

Just trust/believe that Jesus is who God said He is, the son of God; His son.  That Jesus came to earth as a person, who died and was resurrected for the sin of the whole world, of all who will believe; for your sin and mine.

That's it in a nutshell.  "...believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved..." Acts 16:31

Until next time...
