Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something, today.
It's not something that happened. It's about what we should do if something happens to us.
If you read LwL in the past, you'll know that I quote a Bible verse that is very important, relating to that issue. Hopefully, you realize that by reading God's Word, the Bible, we become truly blessed.
God definitely provides for us. Us, who belong to Him, by gaining salvation... by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.
But, we will definitely go through various things in life. Good things. And, not so good things. Of course, also some terrible things.
Is this what we need to realize?
I believe so.
For when we go through good times, we can rejoice and be thankful. But, when we go through fiery trials, we need to accept that it's not something strange to happen.
Thinking of this, made me think of 1 Peter 4:12-16, "Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf."
Amen! We should realize that it's not strange to go through a fiery trial. We need to rejoice, as we are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that when His glory shall be revealed, we may be glad also with exceeding joy. If we are reproached for the name of Christ, happy are we; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon us: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. But let none of us suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. Yet if any man suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
So, dear brother or sister in the Lord, I realize that if you've grown in your relationship with God, by reading His Word, the Bible... that you will realize that life will not be perfect.
However, as you grow by reading His Word, the Bible, you will be able to accept the fiery trials you've experienced. No, you probably won't like them. But, you'll be able to accept them, and realize that God truly loves you.
Yes, God truly loves those who belong to Him. And, He helps all who belong to Him.
I belong to Him. And, am thankful that He has always helped me go through fiery trials in my life.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
