Here on Life with Lynnie, there is something I'll let you now about.
It's something that made me happy, on Friday, March 30th, 2018... Good Friday!
Knowing that where I had been worshipping, wasn't having a church service on Good Friday, I had searched and asked various people about where a Good Friday church service would be held. I found out that there was a church service being held on Good Friday, at a church where I used to worship at, but had stopped worshipping there.
I decided to attend. And, did.
It was truly a blessing to me! Plus, we also had communion, together!
While there, it was mentioned that on Sunday, April 1st, Resurrection Sunday/Easter Sunday, they would not only have a church service, but they would also have a pot-luck luncheon.
Thinking about how I used to enjoy worshipping there, but had stopped, due to having had trouble with a man who worships there, who had done damage to my vehicle several times... and the vehicle and home of another sister in the Lord, I felt sad. Especially, since my granddaughter, A... used to adore going to Sunday school there, with me.
Thinking about how A's mom had prevented her from attending Sunday school there for quite a while, due to personal issues with A's dad, I again felt bad. But, I realized that there probably wouldn't be a problem for A to attend.
And, since she kept asking me over and over again, to take her there so she could attend Sunday school, I did something.
I texted A's mom, my daughter, B. I asked if it was okay for me to bring, A... to Sunday school and attend a pot-luck luncheon, afterwards on Resurrection Day/Easter Sunday.
B, texted me back. She let me know that A... WANTED to be there. This truly made me happy. Especially, since I've been asked to go back and worship there. Not just asked once, but many, many, many times.
So, I let the pastor and other brothers and sisters in the Lord, know. They were all happy! Especially, since they would get to see not just me, but also my granddaughter... A!
Talk about being happy!
To me, it was grace given from God. Not just to me, or to everyone I knew there, who was happy about us going to worship and spend time with them. But, also to my granddaughter, A... who will truly be happy.
Thinking of this, made me think of John 1:16, "And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace."
Amen! All of us, who belong to Him, have received from God, not just fullness, but also grace... since He is graceful.
This was truly a blessing to me.
For this, I praised God.
I thanked the pastor and my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I thanked Him in prayer.
And, will always be thankful.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
