Happy Easter Monday! He Lived!

Once again, I need to say that I'm happy about what today is, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Today, is our Easter... Monday!

In addition to worshipping with our church family yesterday on Easter... Sunday, I decided to share with you some music today.  This music is very suitable to what we learn about our Resurrection Sunday... Easter Sunday!

Nicole C. Mullen is the singer of the song I'm sharing with you entitled, My Redeemer Lives.  Here is a link for you to click on, so you can listen to and/or sing along:  The lyrics are below.

My Redeemer Lives

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
And who told the ocean you can only come this far?
And who showed the moon where to hide till evening?
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?
Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
All of creation testifies
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives
The very same God
That spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory

Now I know, my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I-I-I know
My Redeemer

He lives
To take away my shame
And He lives
Forever I'll proclaim
That the payment for my sins
Was the precious life He gave
And now He's alive and
There's an empty

And I know
My Redeemer
He lives
I know
My Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I-I-I know my Redeemer
I know
My Redeemer lives
*I know my Redeemer lives*
*I know, That I know, that I know, that I know, that I know
He lives
*my redeemer lives*
*Because He lives I can face tomorrow
He lives
*I know, I know*
He lives
*I spoke with Him this morning!*
He lives
*The tomb is empty*
He lives
*He Lives! I'm going to tell everybody!!*

My redeemer lives!

The tomb His body was put in, became empty.  And, His grave is still empty.  Just as we heard/read in today's lyrics.

And, just as I recall from Luke 24:1-9, "Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,
Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
And they remembered his words,
And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest."

Amen!  Jesus' grave tomb became empty.

Why?  Because He rose from the dead on the third (3rd) day!  Just as He told people would happen.

For this, I am truly thankful!

And, always will be.

Until next time...
