Whatsoever!

There's something I really am happy to tell you about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's something that happened, last Friday, March 16th, 2018.

It's regarding somewhere I had missed going to, over the past few months.  But, I was able to attend, last Friday!

It was a woman's group meeting, at City Church, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  If you'd like to check out City Church, please click on this link:  http://www.thecitychurch.co/.

Just like in the past, I must admit that it was a wonderful evening, there.  And, pastor Kim Freeman was a wonderful preacher/teacher!  Yes, she had been in the past.  But, was again!

After the speaking event was completed, Kim let us know that anyone who needed prayer, could come see her, and she would pray for them.

I did exactly that.  She prayed for me.  I prayed for her.  And, we hugged each other throughout the prayer time we shared.  Thank You, Lord!

My friend who worships there, didn't show up.  However, I enjoyed time with other women I have met in the past.

Of course, I did take some food with me, to share with everyone, since after the worship event, a pot luck dinner is held.

The dinner we shared was wonderful!  Delicious!  And, truly a lovely time to spend with other women!

Talk about a blessing!

It was truly a lovely evening for me.  Not just for the dinner we enjoyed.  But, also for the preaching/teaching... and the prayer for me!

I truly give thanks to God.

Thinking of this, made me think of Colossians 3:17, "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

Amen!  And, whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord, Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.

Yes, all was done in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ.  For we look to Him, always as we give thanks to God and the Father by Him!

Believe me when I say I was truly thankful.

Thankful to everyone I spent time with.

But, also very thankful to God.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
