There's something I feel I need to tell you about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's something that I've mentioned in the past.

In fact, it's something I mention at the beginning of some months.

Yesterday, was a wonderful day of worship.  And, just like in the past, being the first (1st) Sunday of the month, I celebrated... communion!

Do you celebrate communion?  I do.  Just as you know I do.

Of course, if you are a Christian, or someone who is a religious person, you probably understand how important communion is.

But, some people do not understand.  Especially, if they are not Christian, or do not worship at any type of church, where communion is celebrated.

So, I decided to share with you some information that we read in the Bible.  By reading this, if you're not sure what communion is, then you will understand.

Please, read... 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, "For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come."

Amen!  When we celebrate communion, we eat bread which represents Jesus' body, and drink from the cup that represents Jesus' blood.  We not only remember Jesus, we do show the Lord's death, until He comes.

Hopefully, you understand what you just read.  Yes, we celebrate communion in remembrance of Him.

We who have received the Lord, and gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, are truly blessed.  And, we also need to provide honour and glory unto Him.

By celebrating communion, we honour Jesus, and accept what He said to those with whom he shared his last supper.  Just as you read in today's Bible verses.

You probably know now how important communion is, to me.  And, to everyone who is a born again Christian.

Are you?  Have you dedicated your life to Christ?  Have you become Christian?

If you haven't gained salvation and do not believe and/or trust in Jesus... then, when your life ends here on earth, you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God... with NO way to escape.

If you have gained salvation, then when your life ends here on earth, you'll be in Heaven, due to having received everlasting life.

Of course, if you're a brother or sister of mine, in the Lord... then you know that what I've discussed is truly important.  If so, please pray that many people you know, will join you... by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

May God bless you.

Until next time...
