Be His Voice!

Every now and then, I share with you information here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  Today, I'm doing that.

What I'm sharing with you, is what I've received by e-mail.

The e-mail message I'll share with you, was sent to me by the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here's the message I received:

In a bleak turn, the Turkish prosecutor has essentially demanded a life sentence for American Pastor Andrew Brunson.

Pastor Andrew devoted 23 years to peaceful service of the Christian community in Turkey until he was arrested 17 months ago.

Since his arrest, there's been little progress in his case and not a scrap of evidence produced against him. It seems Pastor Andrew has been locked away simply because of his Christian faith.

Pastor Andrew's Turkish attorney has now confirmed the prosecution has submitted an indictment asking for a sentence of 35 years. Pastor Andrew is 50 years old, so such a request essentially becomes a life sentence for the innocent pastor. The court now has
15 days to decide whether the case should proceed.

The ACLJ has appeared before Congress, the President and the U.N. on behalf of Pastor Andrew, demanding intervention. This isn't over. We will continue to work diligently with the State Department and incoming Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, until Pastor Andrew is home safe.

We need YOU. Be his voice.

Sign Our Petition: Free Pastor Andrew.

Jordan Sekulow
ACLJ Executive Director

My goodness!  To me, this is so terrible.

Please, sign the petition to help Pastor Andrew Brunson.  After all, he's not only being hurt.  He's being persecuted for his faith... in this perilous time.

By doing this, you'll be doing good.  Good that ACLJ, Pastor Andrew Brunson, his family, and God... will appreciate.

Thinking about this, made me think of Hebrews 13:16, "But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

Amen!  But to do good and to communicate forget not:  for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Yes... let God be well pleased with you.

Do what you can.  And, pray.

If you do what you can do... and pray, I believe God will bless you for He will be pleased.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
