Do It!

Today, is a special day, as I've mentioned before here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's our day of worship!

Worship is so special.  We all need to worship.

I do.  Hopefully, you do, also.

In addition to getting together with church family to worship, I also enjoy worshipping through music.

The music I'll share with you today, is sung by Michael English and is entitled, He Didn't Throw The Clay Away.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WRbWAtU6LPw&feature=youtu.be.  The lyrics are below.

He Didn't Throw The Clay Away

Empty and broken, I came back to Him
A vessel unworthy, so scarred with sin.
But He did not despair...He started over again
And I bless the day, He didn't throw the clay away.

Over and over, He molds me and makes me,
Into His likeness, He fashions the clay.
A vessel of honor, I am today,
All because Jesus didn't throw the clay away.

He is the Potter...I am the clay
And molded in His image, He wants me to stay.
When I stumble...
And fall...
And my vessel breaks,
He just picks up those pieces,
He doesn't throw the clay away...

Over and over, He molds me and makes me,
Into His likeness, He fashions the clay.
A vessel of honor, I am today,
All because Jesus didn't throw the clay away.

A vessel of honor, I am today,
All because Jesus didn't throw the clay away.

Amen!

Vessels are important.  But, we being vessels are even more important.  Just as we read in the lyrics, for Jesus doesn't throw the clay away.

Meaning, He doesn't throw believers away.  He provides for us.

Just as we read, in 2 Timothy 2:20-21, "But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work."

Amen!

How can you purge yourself and become a vessel unto honour, become sanctified and meet for the master's use, and be prepared unto every good work?

All you have to do, is what I have done.

Trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, repent from sin in your life, and you'll not only gain salvation, and become His family member, but you'll have a loving relationship with Him.

For this, you'll be truly blessed.

If you haven't done it.  Do it.

Do it now!

Until next time...
