Do You?

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm sure you realize what I did, yesterday.

Why do I think this?

Because, if you read LwL regularly, you know that on SONday, I go and worship.

Worship with church family is truly a blessing.  Especially, where I've been worshiping, for the last few weeks!

As you've probably realized from what I've discussed in the past, the first (1st) SONday of each month, is a true blessing for me.  It's when we have communion, at the end our worship service!

What a blessing it is to have communion!

Well, at least I feel that way.  After all, it's truly an important thing to do with Christian brothers and sisters.

Just as we read, in John 6:53-54, "Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day."

Amen!  Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.  Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

Hallelujah!

Even though we truly do not have any of Jesus' body, we use bread and wine or juice.  Prayer makes these His flesh and His blood.

And, when we celebrate what He did for us, by eating His flesh and drinking His blood, we are doing what He wants each of His family members to do.

Please realize that only people who have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, are those who belong to Him, are to do what He told us to do, by sharing communion.

I do, because I belong to Him, and want to do what He wants me to do.

Do you?

If you do, it's because you feel the same as I do.

If you don't, then you need to realize that He wants you to do it.  Just as you read in today's Bible verse.

Hopefully, you'll celebrate communion.

If you do, you'll be blessed.

Until next time...
