Today, I decided to let you know about something that happened, that I think is a blessing.
Here is an article by breitbart.com that is entitled, Gary Sinise Flew 1,000 Children of Fallen Soldiers to Disney World for Christmas: https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2018/12/13/actor-gary-sinise-gives-almost-1700-gold-star-families-free-trip-to-disney/?fbclid=IwAR3b_t2CiDnnbE36oRXhF_sanD01RSnlEOffRTo55fEVouVjJPc2yqS87tg.
Hopefully, you read the article. I decided to share most of it with you (I copied/pasted):
Actor Gary Sinise gave an amazing gift to Gold Star families for Christmas — a trip to Disney World for almost 1,700 family members of fallen soldiers.
It also stated (I copied/pasted):
To me, this was wonderful.
Okay, it wasn't listed as a Christian thing to be done.
To me, I felt it was truly loving.
Those children didn't just miss their parent who had been doing work for their country and died, but they were being treated well, to not feel just horrible about celebrating CHRISTmas without their parent. Instead, they were being loved enough by someone who cares for them and the work their parent did.
I believe we need to think and react this way.
Just as we read, in Hebrews 10:24, "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:".
Amen! And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Good works was done by the parent who died.
Good works was done by Gary Sinise, who did what he felt he could do for those who were suffering.
Good works was also done by American Air, who also wanted to help those who were suffering.
May God bless them all.
Thank You, Lord!
As I mentioned, today is a special day. It's also the last day of 2018. And, many people will be celebrating during the evening, so that at midnight they can be happy and wish everyone...
Happy New Year!
Until next time...
