Hated & Persecution...

There's something I need to tell you about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's something that I believe is not good.  It's definitely not acceptable to God, but He did tell us that we will experience it.

However, it is something that happens now on a regular basis.  By those who are not Christian.  Or, by those who claim they are Christian, yet truly aren't... because they support sin.

What is it?

Persecution.

Please click on the link to the article by foxnews.com entitled, Senators:  Why is Air Force punishing colonel over his religious views on marriage?:  http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/11/16/senators-why-is-air-force-punishing-colonel-over-his-religious-views-on-marriage.html.

If you clicked on the link, you'll have seen what was stated (I copied/pasted):

A group of prominent U.S. senators is coming to the defense of a highly decorated Air Force colonel who could be booted out of the military over his religious views on same-sex marriage.

Col. Leland Bohannon, an experienced combat pilot, was suspended from command and orders were handed down recommending he not be promoted after he refused to publicly affirm the same-sex spouse of a retiring subordinate.

Sigh...

I must admit, I'm grateful that a group of prominent U.S. senators are coming to help defend the man who could be booted out of the military, because of what the article says is... religious views on same sex marriage.

I feel badly that this Christian has been suspended.  To me, that is awful!

Especially, since the majority of people in the world today seem to think it is okay to persecute Christians.

After all, we Christians seem to be hated.

Much like what we read, in Mark 13:13, "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved."

Amen!  Many Christians are now being hated for His sake, but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Hallelujah!

As I mentioned, the man in this article is Christian.  And, he's being persecuted... because, he is doing what God would have him do.

I've also been persecuted, in a much less way.  However, it's also because some people do not care about what God's Word, the Bible tells everyone.

After all, there are some people who close the door to God and His Word.  This way, they help people sin, instead of helping them to gain salvation.

I've gained salvation.

Have you?

If you haven't yet, please trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... now.  Repent of your sin.

After all, Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for the sin of the world, of all who believe upon Him.

Gain salvation, today.

Tomorrow may be too late.

Until next time...
