In the past, I've discussed something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). What I discussed related mainly to where I live, here in Canada.
What was it?
It was about how our Canadian government has created law that removes our Freedom of Speech.
As I've said in the past, I believe Freedom is so very important. After all, veterans... like my dad, mom and many, many, many others, fought to protect us, and to help us maintain freedom.
Recently, I read an article that touched my heart.
Not just for me! But, also for anyone/everyone who lives in Germany.
Why?
Well, click on this link, to read the article by prophecynewswatch.com entitled, Germany: Full Censorship Now Official: http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=1710.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to copy/paste anything stated in that article, so I hope you clicked on it, and read it.
If you did, you'll know that the German government created a new law that requires Facebook (FB) and other social media platforms to censor their users on behalf of the German state, as was stated in the article.
It also states that if they refuse to delete or block what they consider to be online criminal offenses, then the German government can fine them up to 50 million euros for failing to comply with the law... as the article states.
Sigh...
I wonder if this is why FB has blocked me from posting/sharing on various group pages that I am a member of, even though they are Christian articles here on LwL, that I share/post on Christian groups that I am a member of. This hasn't just happened to me. It's also happened to other Christian FB friends, as well.
Apparently the article states that... a district court in Munich gave German journalist, Michael Sturzenburger a six-month suspended jail sentence for posting on his FB page a historical photo of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al-Husseni, shaking the hand of a senior Nazi official in Berlin in 1941.
Why is this being done?
By creating this law and hurting people for speaking/showing truth, freedom is being removed.
Yes, freedom.
Even though Germany didn't win the World War 2, don't you think that Germans received freedom? I do.
Just as we all did in other countries of the world.
It seems that since freedom is being removed in various countries, people will be hurt.
Who?
I believe those being hurt, will be those who are not of this world.
For those who are not of this world, are with God. And, speak truth, in some ways by educating people about history and how they will be affected.
So, many of us will be hated.
Why do I think this?
Because of what God's Word tells us, in John 15:19, "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."
Amen! If we are of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
Sigh... how true this is.
After all, those who are loved by those who do not belong to God, are loved by others in the world. But, when we come to Christ and gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon Jesus, repent and gain a relationship with Him, we then do what God would have us do.
And, we are then hated by those who are not saved.
Please, realize that we need to know truth.
For then, we can look to Him for help... every day of our life. And, He will provide for us. Just as He already does.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
