Thanksgiving & E...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll let you know about something regarding Monday, October 9th, 2017.

Hopefully, you recall that Monday, October 9th, 2017 was our Canadian Thanksgiving day!

However, it was also another special day.

Even though I had attended a birthday party for my great-grandson, E on the Saturday of our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, I saw him again, on the actual date of his birthday!  October 9th!

I must thank my daughter, P for having me over to celebrate our Canadian Thanksgiving, by having dinner with her and our family.  Yes, it was a wonderful time!  And, a delicious meal, as well!  Thank you, P!

I feel I also need to thank her for having our Thanksgiving family gathering on that day, because as I said previously, it was E's birthday.  Yes, he turned 2 years old!  :)

It was such a good time for me.  I truly appreciated feeling loved by P, and our family members.

Yes, I felt that my daughter, P... honoured me.  I felt she honoured me by inviting me to be with our family for those two (2) special reasons.

Thinking of that, made me think of Exodus 20:12, "Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee."

Amen!  I was honoured, as P's mother!

For this, I am truly grateful.

Not just to P for having me, although as I've said, I was truly thankful.  But, also because what she did, will make her blessed by God.

For this, I am truly thankful.

And, always will be.
