Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about how busy I've been in the last week.
For some reason, I was tied up attending meetings. Not just once or twice. Four times, over the last week!
In some ways, the meetings were good. In other ways, they weren't, since they took up a lot of my time.
Plus, I had so much else to do.
I had to drive from where I live, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada... to Mississauga, near the Pearson Airport (sometimes called the Toronto airport).
That trip has been known to be about a four (4) hour drive, each way. However, since there was about six (6) areas where there was road construction, it took longer. It took about 6+ hours to drive there, and about the same to drive back home.
When I say I was worn out, and at times even felt weary, I truly mean it.
The stress brought on nights with some lack of sleep.
Well, at least for me... several nights with only between two and a half (2 1/2) hours, three and a half (3 1/2) hours, and about five (5) hours sleep, didn't make me feel good. But, the worst night I didn't sleep at all. Not even a half hour.
Even so, I was thankful that my Lord truly helped me.
Thinking of this, made me think of Matthew 11:28, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Amen! I relied upon Him, even though I laboured hard and was heavy laden not just from things I had to do, but also from lack of sleep.
He gave me... rest.
The rest I received from my Lord, made me feel totally acceptable, even though it had been a rather difficult week.
For this, I'm thankful. And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
