Again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'm letting you know that today is SONday.
SONday, is the day when we can worship with church family!
Also, we can worship through music.
So, I'm sharing with you a gospel hymn, by Thomas A. Dorsey. It's sung by Elvis Presley and is entitled, Take My Hand, Precious Lord. It's also known by using just... Precious Lord. Here is a link you can click on to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tGRkVx-C-I. The lyrics are below.
Take My Hand, Precious Lord
Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
I'm tired, I'm weak, I'm lone
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
When my way grows drear precious Lord linger near
When my light is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call
Hold my hand lest I fall
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
When the darkness appears and the night draws near
And the day is past and gone
At the river I stand
Guide my feet, hold my hand
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
I'm tired, I'm weak, I'm lone
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
Amen!
We definitely need to have faith. Especially when we ask things of our Lord.
Faith is so very important.
Just like we read, in Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen!
Can we see when and how He will help us?
Absolutely, not.
But, when we have faith, He answers our prayer request. And, does for us, what we need done.
For this, we always need to be thankful.
I am thankful.
Are you?
Hopefully, so. For if you belong to Him, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you not only gain salvation, but you will also begin to have faith.
For this, we are all blessed.
Thank You, our precious Lord!
Until next time...
