Hope...

There's something I want to tell you about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It was something that happened on SONday.

We had a baby shower!  It was for my family member.

There was about 40+ people in attendance.  There was much done.  And, it was a fun time.

After all, we were all celebrating the soon arrival of another baby!

Who?  Some family.  Some friends.

Of course, we also enjoyed some delicious food that everyone contributed to.  :)

Plus, many gifts were received.  Just like what normally happens at a baby shower.

The child is due to be born within a few days of my birthday.  So, I've joked about how the baby can possibly be born on my birthday.  :)

Even though the gathering was in support of my family, it truly wasn't in support of God.

He wasn't mentioned at all.  Not even once.  Except by me on one occasion, and it wasn't liked.

After everything was removed from my building's party room, and after about three (3) people helped me clean everything, I felt exhausted.  But, happy that God helped me sort things out, and get things done.

While relaxing, I hoped and prayed that God would open the door for everyone who attended the baby shower, to become fellow Christians.

Even though I felt worn out and felt that I experienced a problem, I prayed.

Thinking of this, made me think of Romans 12:12, "Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;"

Amen!  That's exactly how I felt.  Just as I said previously.

I rejoiced in hope, was patient in tribulation, and continued in prayer.

Unfortunately, I can't explain at this time, what happened.

But, does it matter?

Not really.

We don't have control over anything.

God is in control.

And, we need to be overcomers.

Just as I have had to do throughout my life.

Have you?

Do you belong to our Lord?

Have you gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ?

I hope so.

If not, when your life ends, you'll spend eternity in Hell... separated from God, with no chance of escape.

If you have, then I will look forward to seeing you, in Heaven.

Until next time...
