Higher and Higher...

Like I've done in the past, I'll be telling you about today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL). 

After all, today is our day of worship.  It's SONday!

Of course, I worship in spirit and in truth.  Just as God wants us to do.

But, I also worship through music.

Today's music is not a hymn.  However, it is some music that has been on my heart and mind for a long time.

Amen... we keep getting lifted higher and higher, when we experience trials in our lives that break our hearts. 

Much like when we lose people we love.  Spouses, parents, siblings, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Yes, this song isn't truly Christian, but it always seems to make me feel like God is lifting me higher.  Higher than ever before.

Thinking of this, made me think of Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."

He loves me and lifts me up.  He strengthens me, and helps me.  And, always will... because He's my God.

Yes, He's with me.  And, with you... if you belong to Him.

I belong to Him.

Do you?

Hopefully, so. 

If you don't, then when your life on earth ends, you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape.

If you belong to Him, you'll spend eternity in Heaven, with Him.  And, with me, for I'll be with Him at some point.

Hopefully, I'll see you in Heaven, some day.
