On the evenings of Thursday, October 19th and Friday, October 20th, plus the morning and lunchtime of Saturday, October 21st, I attended a women's conference.
After finishing the conference, I was able to visit with my brother, B... who doesn't live here in Windsor. He lives in Guelph, Ontario, Canada... and came here to visit me!
I was truly thankful being able to spend time with my brother! Thank you, for coming to visit me, B. May God bless you...
Now, I'll tell you about the women's conference that was held at City Church, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Here's a link for you to click on, if you'd like to read about City church: http://www.thecitychurch.co/.
The women's conference was known as... Victorious.
As you can see...
I received an item to wear, that said...

IS
VICTORIOUS
Being VICTORIOUS is truly important. Being VICTORIOUS assures us that we will gain victory.
Thinking of this, made me think of 1 John 5:4, "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."
Amen! whosoever is born of God overcometh the world. And, this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Yes, we all need to overcome whatever is happening in our lives that is affecting us. Just as was preached/teached at the conference.
In the past, many times I have attended their monthly women's meetings. Just as you may have read about here on LwL, in the past.
However, this was the first time I ever attended a women's conference there.
I'm truly not sure how many women attended. But, I believe there was over 100 women.
Plus, there were men!
No, the men didn't seem to be at the conference to join us in the attendance. I believe the men who were there, were there for security. Plus, some were members of the band.
Then, when we had the delicious meal at lunchtime on the Saturday, after the final conference session was completed, we saw that those men had actually cooked the lunch dinner we enjoyed! Praise God! Hallelujah!
It was wonderful! Not just the meal that I mentioned.
The music played and sung was lovely. And, the preaching/teaching was absolutely wonderful. But, the prayer was truly a blessing.
For this, I am thankful. And, always will be in many ways.
Yes, I'm thankful hearing what was preached/teached at the Victorious conference.
I'm thankful for the pastors who spoke about what was needed to gain victory.
I'm thankful for the prayer that was done for us.
But, I am also truly thankful for our Lord, Jesus Christ. And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
