Come!

Like normal, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be doing something I normally do.

After all, it's SONday!  The day when we church family get together to worship.  And, sing.

So, I'll be sharing music with you again, today!

It's by David Crowder and is entitled, Come As You Are.  Here's a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wsph2pOTgF4.  The lyrics are below.

Come As You Are

Come out of sadness
From wherever you've been
Come broken hearted
Let rescue begin
Come find your mercy
Oh sinner come kneel
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't heal
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't heal

So lay down your burdens
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home
You're not too far
So lay down your hurt
Lay down your heart
Come as you are

There's hope for the hopeless
And all those who've strayed
Come sit at the table
Come taste the grace
There's rest for the weary
Rest that endures
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't cure

So lay down your burdens
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home
You're not too far
Lay down your hurt lay down your heart
Come as you are
Come as you are
Fall in his arms
Come as you are

There's joy for the morning
Oh sinner be still
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't heal
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't heal

So lay down your burdens
Lay down your shame
All who are broken
Lift up your face
Oh wanderer come home
You're not too far
So lay down your hurt
Lay down your heart
Come as you are...
Come as you are...
Come as you are...
Come as you are

Amen!  We need to come as we are.

It truly doesn't matter if we are sinful.  Or, suffering in our lives.

Thinking of this, made me think of 2 Corinthians 1:5-6, "For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation."

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

Hallelujah!

Whether we are afflicted, it is for our consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

Hallelujah!

He's there for us.

We suffer.  He suffered, to provide for us.

We are afflicted.  We become comforted, as He provided for us.

All we have to do is to come to Christ, and become part of His family.

If you haven't yet chosen to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, so that you can gain salvation, and have a relationship with Him, so that He provides for you, then please... do so, today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
