Birthday Time with T!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), on Monday, October 16th, you'll know that it was a special day.  It was my grandson, T's birthday!

As I mentioned on LwL, I was looking forward to seeing him.  And, I was able to do so.  :)

Being a busy day for me, I was happy that I was going to be able to see him and his family, around lunch time.

By the way, in case you're not familiar with my grandson, T... you need to know he's the oldest grandson I have.

His partner, S and he have two (2) children.  And, they are expecting another child!

Yes, I arrived with his gift and card, that I brought to wish him... Happy Birthday!

After we visited a bit, he opened his gift and card.  He seemed happy about what he received!

S and T offered me a slice of birthday cake and ice cream. Did I have it?  Yes!  It was delicious!  Thank you, so much!

Until then, T hadn't been hungry.  Before I left, he mentioned he was hungry.

Since it was his birthday, he decided he'd like something from a restaurant that was new into the area where they live.  But, since they don't have a car, I drove S to pick up what T wished for, so they would enjoy their meal together.

I have to admit, it was truly a blessing spending time with those family members.

Thinking about how happy I am that I have T as my grandson, I thought about Psalm 127:3, "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."

Amen!  Children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is His reward!

Children who become His reward, look to Him, and gain salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

I realize that not everyone has family.  Plus, I realize that some people have family, yet do not have relationships.

So, being with this part of my family, truly made me blessed.

I was thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
