Anniversary and Memory of Mercy...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something that is important to me, today.

What is it?

It's something that happened to me, many years ago.  It's something that has never left my mind.

It's the anniversary date of when my life changed.

It is the anniversary date of when my daughter survived without having any protection.

What was this the anniversary date of?

It was when I was driving a 44 foot long school bus, and was hit by a tractor-trailer driver.

If you read the book I wrote entitled, Love Never Fails You... you'll know what I mean.

If you haven't read Love Never Fails You... then you may want to check it out, on my Lynnie Books website:  http://lynniebooks.blogspot.ca/

Just so you know, I wrote about many other things, in Love Never Fails You...  Not just the collision.

However, what I want you to realize is something that many people don't know about.

You see, even though I wrote about how God saved my life, and my daughter P's life, there were many other people's lives saved.

Only a few minutes earlier, before the truck driver hit the bus I was driving, I had dropped off 53 children.

Yes, when the collision happened, He protected my daughter, P and she wasn't severely injured.

Yes, He protected me, even though I was severely injured.  And, became what people call... an injured worker.

However, there had been another school bus in the intersection.

As I was recovering from the injury, the other school bus driver had come to visit me.  She commented that I needed to be glad that the truck driver had hit my bus.

Why?

She made me realize that because the truck driver hit the bus I was driving, it slowed him down in the intersection.  And, it was good that happened.

Why?

Because if he hadn't slowed down, his truck would have crushed her school bus.  And, the 72 children on her school bus, may have been injured or killed.  Along with her.

Instead, children at the back of her bus, screamed... thinking they would be hit by the truck driver.  However, because his truck had been slowed down, he missed hitting her bus... by only inches.

When she told me about this, I wasn't just thankful that my daughter, P and I survived the collision, I was also thankful that her bus wasn't hit.

I was thankful that so many other people weren't injured.  Or, killed.

I was thankful that God had given each and every person who was in that intersection... mercy.

Thinking of this, made me think about Psalm 107:1, "O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."

Amen!

Even at this day, when I recall being severely injured, I give thanks unto the Lord.

He is good.  And, His mercy has helped me.  And, will endureth forever.

Hallelujah!

He has helped me deal with what happened during that collision, every day of my life.

For this, I am truly thankful.

And, always will be.

Until next time...

Be Not Troubled...

I'll be sharing something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's regarding what I watched on Friday, September 15th.

That day, I watched Global News.

What I saw, I decided to share with you.

Here is a link to the first video I watched on Global News was entitled, Witnesses describe scenes of 'complete terror' after explosion hits London subwayhttp://globalnews.ca/news/3746651/london-subway-underground-explosion-parsons-green-station-attack/.

The article on the posting says what I am about to share with you (I copied/pasted), plus more information:

An improvised explosive device exploded on a crowded subway train in London during rush hour Friday injuring at least 22 people, according to police, in what is considered to be Britain’s fifth terror attack this year.

Police in the U.K. said the explosion on the train at Parsons Green station, in the southwest part of the British capital, was being treated as a “terrorist incident” and that no arrests have been made.

On the article, there is also another video you can watch.  Please watch them both.

Then, there was another video shown on the news.

Here is the link to the second video and article I watched on Global news was entitled, What we know about London subway explosion, U.K.'s 5th terrorist incident in 2017http://globalnews.ca/news/3746570/london-subway-homemade-bomb-terrorist-incident/.

This article posting says what I copied/pasted, plus more information:

The National Health Service said others had taken themselves to hospital, bringing the total number treated to 22.

London fire brigade said six fire engines, two fire rescue units and about 50 firefighters were in attendance.

On this article, there is also another video you can watch.  Please watch them both.

It seems that some people don't believe that war is happening, throughout the world.  However, I do believe it is happening.

After all, some... but not all Muslims are doing what their god wants them to do.  Some, are doing terrorism, by trying to kill unbelievers of Islam.

After all, they are taught by their god, that they need to convert EVERYONE in the world.  And, if people refuse to become Islamic, then they have the right to cut off heads.  Meaning, kill people.

Even so, we should not be troubled.

Just as we read, in Matthew 24:6, "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

Amen!

We shall hear of wars and rumours of wars.  We need to not be troubled for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Amen!

The end... is NOT yet.

But, the end... will come.  The rapture will happen.

What's important?

Gain salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  By having a relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ, you shall gain everlasting life.

Even when our world becomes even worse, than it is now.

If you haven't yet come to Christ, do so today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Hallelujah!

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be telling you about something I recently did.

It was actually a special dinner gathering I attended, last Friday, September 22nd.

The dinner gathering happened at the Ciociaro Club, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  Here's a link for you to check out the Ciociaro Club:  http://ciociaroclub.com/.

Believe me when I say it was the fourth (4th) time I attended gatherings and/or meetings there in eight (8) days!

Which group was I meeting with?

Not just my friend, C... and T, D and P.  I was shocked to see many, many, many other Christian friends, there!

Why were we all there?

We were supporting a group called, Sunparlour Pregnancy & Resource Centre.  Here is a link for you to check it out:  http://www.pregnancycentre.net/.

I suppose you can realize that it actually was a Christian group, who met there, not just to eat a delicious dinner, but also who support this pregnancy centre!

Yes, I've supported this organization for several years.  Much like many other people, who attended the dinner meeting.

Talk about being a blessing to other people!  And, being blessed!

Thinking of this, made me think of Psalm 1:1, "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."

Amen... blessed are those who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful!

As God told us, we need to love sinners and hate sin.

Plus, we need to do what we can do to help people realize that they need to not sin.  Which is what can happen, if anyone disposes of their pregnancy.

This truly touched my heart, being there at that dinner.

Not just for the lovely meal shared with many other friends.  But, also knowing that many more people I know also support this pregnancy organization, than I knew of in the past.

Praise God!

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Over and Over, Again!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, I told you about something I did on Saturday, September 16th.

Today, I'll be letting you know about something else I did on that day.

After I left the church group's FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST event, I made my way to an address I had never before been to.  It only took me about 15 minutes to drive there, even though it was in LaSalle, Ontario... and not in the city I live in, Windsor.

I must admit that I was glad that my sister in the Lord, D had invited me there.  And, told me what to look for to arrive at the correct address.

You see, D is the leader of a woman's group that I attend, where she worships.

The group usually meets on a Tuesday evening once a month.  But, this month they met at the home of a member's family.

The home was on the waterfront.

This is something that is truly lovely!  Not just meeting there, but being able to look and see the river water.  I must admit, the women who attended, all adored being there.

We all thanked our host and hostess for having us there.

They were kind to us.  And, we in response, were kind to them.

Yes, we gave them a card and gift!

We were truly thankful and wanted to do good work for them.

Thinking of this, made me think of Matthew 5:16, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

Amen!  We who are Christians are light.  So, we need to let our light shine before men, that they may see our good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.

We glorified God, our Father, by doing what He wanted us to do, by doing good works.

Do you do what God wants you to do?

Do you know what God wants you to do?

If you don't read the Bible, I believe that you truly do not know what He expects of you.

If you read the Bible, you know what He expects of you.  And, you'll know what He will do for you.

And, you'll be blessed.  Over and over, again!

Blessed...

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I worshipped with some of my family.  Plus, some church family.

Actually, I've worshipped there, before.

In fact, in the past, I was even asked to attend worship services there from time to time, to sing.  And, I did.

For a couple of weeks, I've recently worshipped there, though.

Plus, I attended an event that happened on Saturday, September 16th.  In the morning, I arrived near the end of the event.

Some people I knew were leaving the church building, as I arrived.  We took some time to speak.  I enjoyed it!

Then, I entered and saw another Christian friend.  J, was there with some of his family members.

They had all enjoyed the FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST event.  Of course, so had many other people!

I must admit, the breakfast was delicious!  Thank you, dear brothers and sisters in the Lord!

Yes, they did that for me.  And, others.

But, I also did something for them.  I gave a donation.

Why did I do this, when the breakfast was supposed to be FREE?

I wanted to do something for them.

Just as we're told we should do, in Luke 6:31, "And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise."

Do you do this when you attend an event that is supposed to be FREE to you?

Hopefully, so.

By giving a donation, or by doing something else for them, you're doing what God wants you to do.

And, you'll be blessed!

Until next time...

Gifts!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about yesterday.  It was a rather unique day, even though it was our SONday!

As I've said many times in the past, Sunday is a day when we Christians gather, to worship together.  That's what I did.

Did I do it alone?  No.

I had a couple of family members with me.  For this, I am truly thankful!

This was the first time it ever happened.  So, I am truly thankful!

Thank you, my dear relatives!

Thank You, Lord!

After the worship service, we were walking to my van.

Even though I saw a few people outside the church building, I was surprised to see someone else I know.

B, is a pastor of a church group, where I used to participate in singing there... late in the afternoon.  This was in addition to where I worshiped in the morning.

Apparently, he and a church family member were picking up chairs.  They were being borrowed so that he could use them for his worship group family.

It was wonderful speaking with these Christian friends.  And, with my relatives that I will tell you about another time.

I truly thanked God, for letting all this happen for me, for it made me feel truly blessed.

Thinking of this made me think of 2 Corinthians 9:15, "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift."

Amen!  Thanks be unto God... for His unspeakable gift.

Actually, for his unspeakable... gifts!

It was truly gifts received from Him.

For this, I'm not just thankful now.

I'll be thankful, forever.

Thank You, Lord!

Power!

As normal, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing something with you.

Music!

Yes, we worship.  And, we can worship through music, as well.

Today's hymn is entitled, The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power.  Here's a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gP_1su6znew.  The lyrics are below.

The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power

The blood that Jesus shed for me
Way back on Calvary
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power.

It reaches to the highest mountain

It flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power.

It soothes my doubts and calms my fears
It dries all my tears
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power.

It reaches to the highest mountain
It flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power.

It reaches to the highest mountain
And it flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose
It will never lose
It will never lose its power

Amen!

His blood gives us strength!  And, will never weaken.

After all, He gave His blood, for us.  He has truly blessed us.

So, we must bless Him!

Just as we read, in Ephesians 1:3-7, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;"

Yes, I thank God, the Father, for providing His plan of redemption for us... by sending His only Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ, to earth, to pay the price of the sin of the world, of all who will believe upon Him.  Meaning, those of us, who have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... who gave His blood for us.

Talk about glory of His grace!

I'm thankful.  And, always will be.

Are you?

Truth...

I'll be doing something today that I quite often do, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  Do you know what it is I'll be doing?

I'll be telling you about movies I've watched!

Here are some movies that I've seen:

The Way West, starring Kirk Douglas, Sally Field and many other actors.  To check out this American western film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Way_West_(film).  I truly enjoyed this movie.

The Last Command, starring Sterling Hayden, Anna Maria Alberghetti and many other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this Trucolor western filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Command_(1955_film).  This was another western film that I liked.

The Young Riders, starring Steven Baldwin, Melissa Lee and other actors.  To check out this American western television series, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Young_Riders.  Even though this is listed as a television series, it was shown as a movie.  I enjoyed it.

*  Bite The Bullet, starring Gene Hackman, Candice Bergen and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American western film?  If so, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bite_the_Bullet_(film).  Even though there was some animal cruelty, it was good to watch this movie.

The Bounty Killer, starring Dan Duryea, Audrey Dalton and many other actors.  Click here, to check out this American Technicolor Western filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bounty_Killer_(film).  The story was severe in some ways, but I enjoyed watching it.

Even though some people tried to do what was considered to be right, in each of these movies, they all seemed to have sin.

Sin, is so very normal.

Even though some people don't think they have sinned, they truly have.

Just as we read, in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

Amen!  ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

I know I've sinned.

Have you?

Of course, you have.

But, if you think you haven't, then please... read the Bible.

I read the Bible.

Do you?

Hopefully you do read the Bible.

If you do, you'll learn truth.

Former Jihadist Speaks Truth!

Every now and then, I share something with you here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), that I feel is important.  Today, I'm doing that.

A video I watched, was truly important.

Here is a link from YouTube that is entitled, FORMER JIHADIST SPEAKS!  A MUST WATCH TESTIMONY!  69https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Xu9jIBCBHI.

Yes, a former JIHADIST spoke on that video.

Hopefully, you watched the video.  If you did, you'll know what happened.

You'll know that the former JIHADIST was a Muslim in the past, but is now a Christian.

For this, I am thankful!

Not just to listen to what the former JIHADIST let everyone know, about her being raped, imprisoned, and abused. But, to realize that she is now Christian.

Thank You, Lord!

The woman who is the creator of the video, is also someone who was Muslim in the past, but converted to Christianity.

Hallelujah!

Why am I happy about this?

Certainly, I am thankful that both these women converted from Islam to Christianity!

After all, everyone needs to gain salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, in order to receive everlasting life.  And, to become part of His family.

But, to me, it is such a blessing to have seen this video, because these women are speaking truth!

They are basically doing what I have done.

I've spoken truth about Islam, not to put down Muslims.

I've spoken truth about Islam so that people can become educated to know the truth about what Islam is about.  And, what Muslims are taught by their god.

As I've said in the past, their god... is NOT our God.

Speaking truth is so very important.

Just as we read, in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."

Amen!

No corrupt communication should proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying... or educating, as some people realize it is, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Thank You Lord, that there are some people who were raised and taught how to live, through the Islamic teachings, who are speaking truth to everyone in the world, so they will understand what Muslims are taught.

May God bless them.

And, each and every other person who is speaking truth.

Until next time...

Twice... and Twice!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about something I did, on Wednesday, September 13th.

It's not something I've done in a while.  Plus, it's only something that can happen once a month.

I attended a Legion in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada, for what is called a seniors' dinner.

The legion is not far from where I live.  It only takes me about 10 minutes to drive there, even though it is not located in the city where I live.

You need to know that legion is not the only legion who offers seniors' dinners.  It seems that all do, no matter where their locations are.  It may not be so, in other areas, but it is in the area where I live.

Please know that legions support veterans.

Please know that you do not need to be a veteran, in order to attend.

Nor, do you have to be a senior.  As long as you're an adult, who attends without bringing children, then you are welcome to attend.

Just as I did!

People I know, who attended, were happy to see me.  And, I was happy to see them!

We all enjoyed the dinner we paid for.  Plus, we all enjoyed the music, as well.

Of course, I enjoyed the fact that I was asked to dance... twice!  Plus, I did some line-dancing, for fun!

It seemed that many people enjoyed the fact that I sang... twice!

Yes, I need to say it was truly a blessing when I attended.

Thinking of that, reminded me of Psalm 1:1, "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."

Amen!  Blessed are anyone... who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Believe me when I let you know that the majority of people I know who attend the seniors' dinners at that legion, in addition to legions in other areas, are Christians.

Okay.  Not everyone is.  But, the majority of people I've seen, are.

For this, I am thankful.

Especially, since attending allows us to support veterans, as well.  Even if we are not alcohol drinkers.

If you've never done this, you may want to see if it is available where you live.

For if you do, you may be able to help support and bless those who did military work for you... and your family.

And, be blessed, as well.

Until next time...

Need To? Yes!

There's something I'd like to tell you about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's something that happened last SONday!

While I was on my way to worship, I realized that I was running late.  No, it wasn't after when the worship service would begin.  I realized that I just would arrive a few minutes late, while music was being sung.

You see, I was dropping things off to some people, and it had taken more time than I thought would happen.

When I decided I had to head towards where I thought I would attend the worship service, I found myself on a street I hadn't been on in many years.  And, I saw something that I hadn't seen before.  Ever!

What was it?

It was a church building where people worshipped.  And, I had never seen it, before, just as I said previously.

Knowing that I was actually early for the worship service, I decided that I would stay there and worship with those fellow Christians, who are actually my church family.

Here's a link for you to check out Calvary Baptist Church, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canadahttp://calvarybaptistwindsor.com/.

Yes, it's important to worship.

Just as we read in John 4:23, "But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him."

Yes, I worship God... in spirit and in truth.  After all, He seeks worshippers to worship Him, just as we read in today's Bible verse.

I worship.

Why?  Because I know that as a child of God, I need to.

Do you worship?

Hopefully, so.

If you do, you'll be blessed.

Mom & More...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I feel I need to say something, regarding my mom.  If she were alive, I would wish her... Happy Birthday

Since my mom is not alive, there's no way I could wish her Happy Birthday!

Of course, it is sad when the life of someone we love, ends.

Much like you would have noticed if you read yesterday's LwL entry.  After all, many people are grieving the loss of those they love, whose lives were lost.

It's not easy dealing with grief.

However, when we are born again Christians, we realize that we need to rely upon what God will do for us.  And, what will happen at any time in our lives.

Our Lord doesn't hurt us.

He's there to help us.  And, does.  Especially, through grief.

Just as we read in Psalm 147:3, " He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds."

He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

He's done this for me.  Even though I still miss those I love who are no longer alive.

Has He done this for you?

He will, if you belong to Him.

Do you?

All you need to do is trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Then, you'll gain salvation.  And, become part of His family.

If you haven't yet done this, do it today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Mike Pence... re: Flight 93 on 9/11 2001

Today, I'm sharing something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's an article posted by westernjournalism.com that I hope you will take time to read.

The article is entitled, Emotional Mike Pence Reveals Why Flight 93 Passengers' Heroism Is Personal For Himhttps://www.westernjournalism.com/emotional-mike-pence-reveals-why-flight-93-passengers-heroism-is-personal-for-him/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=PostSideSharingButtons&utm_content=2017-09-12&utm_campaign=websitesharingbuttons.

Hopefully, you read the whole article.

In case you didn't, I am sharing some of what was stated:

After learning about the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and on the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, passengers of Flight 93 banded together within minutes and devised a plan to charge the cockpit, likely using the plane’s food cart try to ram into the plane’s cockpit, where the knife-wielding hijackers had barricaded themselves.

“They not only planned, but history records that they prayed,” Pence said. “Together with Lisa Jefferson, a phone operator on the ground below, we’re told they prayed the Lord’s Prayer, and recited those ancient words (from Psalm 23), ‘Though I walk through valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me.’”

Only 29 minutes after the terrorists took over the plane, passenger “Todd Beamer spoke those words that America and the world we never forget, ‘Let’s roll,’” Pence said.

After six minutes of struggle, Flight 93 plummeted to the earth into a farm field outside of Shanksville.

Echoing former President Abraham Lincoln’s famous words at Gettysburg, Pence said, “We cannot hallow this place beyond what the heroes of Flight 93 have already done.”

I also like what Mike Pence said at the end of the article:

“As long as America endures, we will tell their story, and generations of Americans will ever be inspired by the faithful and courageous words and deeds of the heroes of Flight 93,” he said. “May God bless our beloved fallen. May God bless and comfort the families gathered here and all those who suffered loss on this day 16 years ago. And may God continue to bless the United States of America.”

Hopefully, you watched the YouTube video on the article, entitled:  Mike Pence Delivers Moving Speech In Shanksville, PA.  Flight 93.

Yes, if you hadn't watched it, please... watch it, by clicking on this link:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=890&v=YPdZ0p_nlmk.

If you watched the video, you'll know that Mike Pence spoke about what was said in the Bible, even though he didn't quote where the verse was located, and didn't use exactly all that I am quoting, here on today's LwL entry.

I'm referring to John 15:12-13, "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."

Hopefully, you realize that Jesus loved us, and laid down His life for those of us who trust in/believe upon Him, our Lord, Jesus Christ.  By doing this, He paid the price for our sin.

However, Mike Pence let everyone know that on 9/11 in 2001, the 40 passengers on Flight 93 loved others and their country enough to realize that even though their lives were going to end, they could love people, and do what they could to help protect others.  Which, they did.

For this, I am also truly thankful.

Thankful to those 40 people.

But, of course, I am extremely thankful for my Lord, Jesus Christ, for what He did for us, to provide us with everlasting life.

Hopefully, you feel the same.

If so, you'll be blessed.

Because...

Every now and then, I share something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

While today is our day of worship, we need to worship in spirit and in truth.  Just as we always do when we meet up with church family, to worship.

However, music isn't always Christian.  Even so, much music relates to me in a Christian way, for I think of God while relating to some of the lyrics.

Especially, if I feel that it is something God has done for me.

Like in the past, I awoke to find some music on my heart and resonating within me.

The song was by Heart and is entitled, Crazy On You.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADAeIokKKNs .  The lyrics are below.

Crazy On You

We may still have time
We might still get by
Every time I think about it I want to cry
With bombs and the devils
And the kids keep coming
Nowhere to breathe easy...no time to be young
But I tell myself that I'm doing alright
There's nothing left to do tonight but go crazy on you

Crazy on you,
Let me go crazy, crazy on you

My love is the evening breeze touching your skin
The gentle sweet singing of leaves in the wind
The whisper that calls, after you in the night
And kisses your ear in the early light
And you don't need to wonder, you're doing fine
My love, the pleasure's mine
Let me go crazy on you

Crazy on you,
Let me go crazy, crazy on you

Wild man's world is crying in pain
What you gonna do when everybody's insane
So afraid of fortune, so afraid of you
What you gonna do?

Crazy on you,
Crazy on you,
Let me go crazy, crazy on you

I was a willow last night in my dream
I bent down over a clear running stream
I sang you the song that I heard up above
And you keep me alive with your sweet flowing love
Crazy on you,
Let me go crazy, crazy on you

Crazy on you,
Crazy on you,
Let me go crazy, crazy on you

Crazy on you,
Crazy on you,
Let me go crazy, crazy on you

I believe God was speaking to me.

I believe He was letting me know that He knows I love Him.  Just as He loves me, and is going crazy on me, with His love.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, 1 John 4:19, "We love him, because he first loved us."

Yes, I love Him, because He first loved me.

Do you love Him?

Hopefully, you do.  Hopefully, you've gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

If you have, we'll spend eternity in Heaven together... and with Him!

Until next time...

To Him? No!

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be doing something I've done, before.

I'll tell you about movies!

Here's some movies I watched:

Jagged Edge, starring Glenn Close, Jeff Bridges and other actors.  To check out this American drama/thriller film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jagged_Edge_(film).  Even though this movie was filled with lies, I enjoyed watching it.

The Principal, starring James Belushi, Louis Gossett, Jr. and other actors.  If you'd like to check out this crime thriller action film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Principal. I watched this movie, even though it made me feel sick in my heart, for the sinfulness of some people.

Body Heat, starring William Hurt, Kathleen Turner and Richard Crenna.  Click on this link, if you'd like to check out this American neo-noir erotic thriller film:   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_Heat.  This movie was truly sad to me, but I watched it.

Best Seller, starring James Woods, Brian Dennehy and Victoria Tennant.  If you want to check out this crime thriller film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Best_Seller.  I watched this movie, even though it was filled with sinfulness.

Owning Mahoney, starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Minnie Driver and other actors.  Would you like to check out this drama thriller film, regarding gambling addiction?  If so, please click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owning_Mahowny.  Being based on a Canadian true story, I watched it, even though it didn't make me happy.

As I just mentioned, I wasn't happy watching these thriller movies.

Okay, I enjoyed the actors doing what they did, for they did well in their acting.  However, to me the stories were truly sinful.

I believe we need to not get involved in sin like what was shown in these movies.

Why?

Because the devil was basically in charge of what was done.

Thinking of this, made me think of Ephesians 4:27, "Neither give place to the devil."

Amen!  We should neither give place to the devil!  Yes, we should neither give place to Satan!

I don't.

Do you?

Do you know anyone who does?

Anyone who belongs to God, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ and have gained salvation, doesn't usually give place to the devil.  Instead, they want to do all, for God.

Do you belong to Him?

I do.

When your life ends here on earth, if you haven't belonged to Him, you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God.  With... NO chance of escape.

Is this what you'd want?

Or, instead... if you belong to Him, you'll spend eternity in Heaven, with Him.

Just as I'll be doing.

Hopefully, I'll see you, there!

Please...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I feel I need to tell you about.

You may know about it.  Or, you may not.

So, I decided to bring the information to you.

There's an article telling you what I'm referring to.  It's by torontosun.com entitled, Woman screaming 'Allahu Akbar' charged in Toronto store attack:  Sourceshttp://www.torontosun.com/2017/06/06/woman-screaming-allahu-akbar-charged-in-toronto-store-attack-sources?token=700d2a2e8b90a6e104b4ff4901675272&utm_source=addThis&utm_medium=addthis_button_facebook&utm_campaign=Woman+screaming+%27Allahu+Akbar%27+charged+in+Toronto+store+attack%3A+Sources+%7C+Toront#.WTdhPbcR4ac.facebook.

Please, click on the link, and read the entire article.  Well, if you couldn't, it wouldn't be good, so I decided to share the entire article (I copied/pasted):

TORONTO - A Scarborough woman swore allegiance to ISIS in a Scarborough courtroom where she appeared to face allegations that she swung a golf club at hardware store employees while screaming threats and Islamic chants.

Before Tuesday’s proceedings started, Justice of the Peace Alice Napier asked Rehab Dughmosh, 32, to identify herself in court — but the accused woman didn’t initially answer the question.

“ISIS — I pledge to the leader of the believers — Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,” blurted the woman through an interpreter.

Al-Baghdadi is the leader of the Sunni militant jihadist group known as the Islamic State of Iraq (ISIS) and the Levant.

Dughmosh, who wore a black niqab and a forest-green prison sweat suit, agreed to “stay in jail,” rather than have a bail hearing at College Park courts Tuesday.

Dughmosh was remanded in custody and will appear via video at Scarborough Court of Justice on June 21.

Sources told the Toronto Sun that a woman, wearing an ISIS bandana, allegedly entered Cedarbrae Mall in Scarborough Saturday afternoon and then the Canadian Tire store, where she walked to the paint section.

She allegedly ranted “Allahu Akbar” — God (Allah) is greater — before swinging a golf club at employees — at the same time of bloody terrorist attacks in London, sources said.

The woman was restrained by several employees, after she pulled out a large knife from under her clothing, according to police. The knife was pried from her hand and an employee suffered non-life-threatening injuries, said a police release.

Dughmosh is facing seven charges including two counts of assault with a weapon, assault, two counts of possession of a weapon, threaten death or bodily harm, and carrying a concealed weapon.

Wow!

What that Muslim woman did, was a form of terrorism.

I praise God that several employees restrained the Muslim woman, after she pulled out a large knife from under her clothing, according to police.  I praise God the knife was pried from her hand, and an employee suffered only non-life-threatening injuries, said a police release.

Seriously, this isn't something that I never believed would happen.  As I've said in the past, I know that things like this will happen, here in Canada.

Why?

Because even though every Muslim is not doing things like this, they are taught that they need to do it.  So, eventually... many will do what their god... Satan, wants them to do.

Yes, as I've said in the past, I believe we are definitely in end times.

And, we need to be prepared for the rapture.

Why do I think this?

You'll know and understand, if you read Matthew 24:42, "Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."

Knowing that we do not know what hour your Lord doth come, we need to watch, therefore.  In other words, we need to be prepared.

As I've said in the past,  we need to help any/all unbelievers, to trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, to gain salvation.  For if this happens for them, then they will be raptured, to spend time with Jesus.

Please, pray and do what you can for unbelievers, including Muslims, to gain salvation.

Teach people.  Speak up/out.

And, help them realize they truly need salvation.

By doing this, they'll be blessed.

And, so will you.

Until next time...

Turn Away!

There's something I feel I need to mention, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's truly upsetting to me.  But, then... you probably won't be surprised why I feel this way.

A while ago, I saw an article by lifesitenews.com entitled, Ontario passes 'totalitarian' bill allowing gov't to take kids from Christian homeshttps://www.lifesitenews.com/news/breaking-ontario-passes-totalitarian-bill-allowing-govt-to-take-kids-from-c.

If you read the article, you'll know it stated (I copied/pasted):

TORONTO, June 1, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — Ontario’s Kathleen Wynne Liberals have passed what critics describe as “totalitarian” Bill 89 by a vote of 63 to 23 on the last day before Queen’s Park adjourns for the summer.

Pro-family advocates warn Bill 89 gives the state more power to seize children from families that oppose the LGBTQI and gender ideology agenda, and allows government agencies to effectively ban couples who disagree with that agenda from fostering or adopting children.

Sigh...

Was this the only article that told us about what our Canadian... Ontario provincial government was doing?

No.

Here's another article, by heatst.com entitled, Canada's New Law Lets Government Take Children Away If Parents Don't Accept Their Gender Identityhttps://heatst.com/culture-wars/canadas-new-law-lets-government-take-children-away-if-parents-dont-accept-their-gender-identity/?mod=sm_fb_post.

A Canadian province has passed a law that gives rights to the government to take away children from families that don’t accept their kid’s chosen “gender identity” or “gender expression”.

The Supporting Children, Youth and Families Act of 2017, also know as Bill 89, was passed in Ontario by a vote of 63 to 23, The Christian Times reported.

Sigh...

Talk about being sinful to people!  Christians!

Our Premier of Ontario, Kathleen Wynne, is lesbian.  And, since she has arranged this new law, to remove children from Christian families, for the reasons she quoted, it shows that she wants Christians to be hurt.

It also shows that she doesn't want Christian parents to have their children be taught from God's Word, the Bible, that there are a variety of sinful things that should not be done.

To me, this means that we are in end times.

Why do I think this?

I believe you need to read, 2 Timothy 3:1-5, "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

Amen!  In the last days (end times), perilous times shall come.

We Christians are experiencing this, here in Canada... in many ways.

What did God tell us to do?

His Word tells us... from such turn away.

Turn away!

Please, pray.

Pray that Christians will prepare for the rapture, since we are in end times.

Pray that many people will gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  By doing this, they will be taken to be with Jesus Christ, when the rapture happens.

Anyone who isn't raptured, will experience more and more disaster in this world.  And, anyone who isn't raptured, is because they haven't gained salvation, so they'll eventually spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, with no chance of escape... unless they come to Christ and gain salvation.

So please, turn away!

Until next time...

Love vs Hate...

There's something I feel I need to let you know, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's something that makes me feel I need to say, yet I'm nervous that people won't understand.  At least, not at first.

I feel I need to let you know that I do not love my life.

My life hasn't been easy.  Nor, has it been good.

My life has been difficult.  It's been filled with sadness, sorrow, pain and suffering.

So, I must admit that I truly hate my life.

Does this sound like something no one should feel?

Absolutely, not.

It's exactly how we all should feel.

Thinking of how I feel, made me think of John 12:25, "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal."

Amen!  He that loves his life shall lose it; and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it, unto life eternal.

Hallelujah!

I realized a long time ago, that even though my life has been horrible in many ways, God wanted me to feel this way.  And, I do.

Even so, I look to Him, daily.  And, He is there for me, always.

He's there for me, every day.

He helps me through everything that is affecting my life.

For this, I am thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

The World...

There's something I feel I need to say, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

To me, it's important.  To some other people, it may not be.  But, it truly is.

I do not love the world.  Or, anything happening in it, in this era.

Do you think this is a crazy thought?

I hope you don't feel this way.  I feel I am speaking truth.

Even though I haven't made a habit of speaking forth, regarding how I feel, I believe it is time for me to speak about it.

After all, I feel the way God wants me to.

Just as we read, in 1 John 2:15, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

Amen!  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.  If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them.

Obviously, I don't have to worry about not relating well to Him.  For, He is truly in me.  So, I do relate well to Him.

Do you feel the same way?

Hopefully, so.

For if you do, God will always be there for you.

All I can say, is thank You, Lord!

In Remembrance of 9/11...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL),
I'll be discussing
something that happened in the past.

What is it?
It's what happened back in 2001, on...
9/11.

If you want to read about September 11th attacks,
please click on this link:

Yes, September 11th, is a special day.
It's a day I'll never forget.
Especially, since I saw two (2) of the Muslims in a store
here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada
just a few days before they participated
in... murdering people on...
9/11.
Do you recognize any of those people?

Do you recall what they did?

Sigh...

I must admit,
I pray that anyone who lost
someone they love
on 9/11,
were either a Christian...
or later, became a Christian.

Why?

Because,
God provides for all who belong to Him;
those who suffer
and
experience grief.

Thinking of this,
made me think of
Matthew 5:4,
"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."

May God be blessing you,
if you are still mourning.

Please, pray.

If you do,
God will bless you.

Until next time...

By and By...

Like I've said before, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today is a special day.  SONday!

It's the day when our church family meets up.  Together, we worship God.

Of course, we can also worship Him through music.  Just as I've said before.

So, I decided to share with you a hymn.

This hymn is sung by Elvis Presley, and is entitled, By and By.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyKU-xY-gYY.  The lyrics are below.

By and By

Well children by and by, oh when the morning comes
All the saints of God together they come
We will tell the story how the Lord will come
And we'll understand Him better by and by

Trials dark on every hand and we cannot understand
All the ways God will lead us
To the blessed promised land
He will guide us with his eye
And we'll follow till we die
And we'll understand him better by and by

Well children by and by, oh when the morning comes
All the saints of God together they come
We will tell the story how the Lord will come
And we'll understand Him better by and by

Temptation's hidden snares often take the sun away
And our hearts are made to bleed
For some thoughtless word or deed
And we wonder why the test when we try to do our best
But we'll understand it better by and by

By and by when the morning comes
All the saints of God together they come
We will tell the story how the Lord will come
And we'll understand Him better by and by

And we'll understand Him better by and by

Amen...

Time goes by and by.

And, just as the lyrics say, we'll understand Him better, by and by.

Thinking of this, made me think of Psalm 119:100, " I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts."

Yes, I do understand more than the ancients, because I keep Thy precepts.

Am I perfect?

No.

God told us that no one is perfect here on earth.  Only our Lord, Jesus Christ was perfect, and is still perfect.

However, I understand more than the ancient people, because in this day and age, we have the entire Bible.  Unlike many years ago, when people didn't have a copy of a Bible, to read.

It's so important to read the Bible.  For when we read God's Word, the Bible, we learn about precepts.

We learn about truth that God teaches us, and we learn about what He would have us do.

I read God's Word, the Bible.

Do you?

If not, please begin today.

If you've never before read the Bible, begin reading in the New Testament, in the Book of John.  Read it all, until the end.  Then later, you can read the entire Bible.

By doing this, you'll be educated.  And, blessed.

Until next time...

Enjoyed!

Today, is a day when I'll be sharing things with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

What is it I'll be sharing?

Movies!

Here's some movies I watched:

The Road to Hong Kong, starring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Joan Collins.  To check out this British comedy film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Road_to_Hong_Kong.  If you get a chance to see this movie, please... watch it!

The Mouse on the Moon, starring Margaret Rutherford, Bernard Cribbins and Terry-Thomas.  To check out this British comedy film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mouse_on_the_Moon.  Even though I don't always find stories like this funny, I enjoyed this movie.

Club Paradise, starring Robin Williams, Peter O'Toole and many other actors.  Please, click on this link to check out this American comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Club_Paradise.  Even though this movie was nice, I was happy to see it, since it involved an injured worker.  :)

Deal of the Century, starring Chevy Chase, Sigourney Weaver and Gregory Hines.  Click on this link, if you'd like to check out this American comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deal_of_the_Century.  Even though this movie contained some sinful things, I enjoyed watching it.

Pocketful of Miracles, starring Glenn Ford, Bette Davis and other actors.  Would you like to check out this American comedy film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocketful_of_Miracles.  To be honest, I found this movie to be excellent!

In the past, I haven't always enjoyed comedy films.  After all, even though they are meant to be comedy, they aren't always funny.

Still, I must say that I enjoyed these films.  For this, I'm thankful!

Especially, since a movie was about an injured worker, and another I found to be truly excellent, in addition to liking the rest.

Of course, in movies, sometimes things in the story fully change.

Just as they do sometimes in life.

Thinking about how God changes things, made me think of Psalm 107:35, "He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings."

Amen!  He changes things.  Sometimes in life.

For He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and a dry ground into watersprings.

So, sometimes good things become bad.  But, sometimes bad things become good.

To me, this means that we must always trust God.

For He is in control.  He's in control of everything!

If you don't believe me, please... read God's Word, the Bible.

If you do, you'll find out the truth.

And, you'll feel blessed.

Until next time...

Important Prayer Request...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something relating to June 1st.

Yes, even though it will be the last time I mention it this week, I felt I needed to discuss it.  Especially, since Labour Day, when workers are supported, was a few days ago.

It's regarding Workplace Safety and Insurace Board (WSIB).

Please, pray for all who work there.

After all, that organization is NOT truly and completely helping injured workers.  In fact, it seems they are doing all they can, to help employers benefit by reducing their help to injured workers.

Sigh...

Talk about being sinful.

I should let you know that years ago, I spoke with a woman who said she was Christian.  Then, after much conversation, she let me know she worked for WSIB.

Sigh...

At first, I thought I shouldn't mention anything about how bad I thought it was that she worked at WSIB.  But, eventually, I did.

She never spoke to me.  Not ever again.

I must admit, I found this truly hurtful.  After all, I wonder how anyone who claims to be Christian could do any kind of work to hurt others.... in any way!

Thinking of this, made me think of 1 John 1:6, "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:"

Amen!  If we say we have fellowship with Him... and walk in darkness, we lie... and do not the truth.

So, how can anyone who claims to be Christian want to work anywhere where people are hurt?  Are they really being truthful about being Christian?  Not according to today's Bible verse.

Please know that I pray that some day, WSIB will do what they need to do, to support injured workers in a better way, instead of making it worse and worse for injured workers.

Please join me in prayer.

Pray for injured workers.

Pray that WSIB will stop hurting injured workers, in some ways.

Pray that WSIB will help injured workers more than they have.

Pray that anyone/everyone who works for WSIB will truly become Christian and will gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ... and either convince WSIB to help injured workers, or will stop working for WSIB.

Why Do I feel this way?

I don't believe that anyone who truly belongs to God, would want to work anywhere hurting others.  To me, this is extremely sinful.

Thank you for praying.

May God bless you.

Glenn & CTV News Video!

Once again, I'll be discussing something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Before I do, I want to say that I feel badly that I can't wish my brother, Glenn... Happy Birthday!  If he were still alive, I would.  But, he's not, so I can't.  Even so, I love him... and always will.

I'll be discussing more about what happened on June 1st, Injured Workers Day!

Why?

Well, there's something else I need to tell you about.

CTV recorded what was done outside the building of Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) and later at Fogular Furlan, where the dinner meeting was held to honour Rolly Marentette

Then CTV showed it on the television station news.  Please click on this link, so you can see what was shown on the news broadcast:  http://windsor.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=1137921.

I pray you took the time to see the video from CTV news.

If you did, I know that you saw injured workers, and those who supported injured workers, in front of the WSIB building on June 1st.

You'll have also seen many injured workers wearing those wonderful T-shirts that were given to us to support Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups (ONIWG).  Plus, you'll see some signs that were shown to drivers and/or pedestrians.

Yes, you'll see a small amount of what was said/spoken, at Fogular Furlan, during the dinner meeting to honour Rolly Marentette.  It's a blessing, since it truly was in remembrance of Rolly.

For this, I am thankful.

Thinking about being thankful, made me think about Psalm 107:1, "O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."

Amen!  We need to give thanks to the Lord, for He is good: for His mercy endureth forever.

Yes, I'm thankful to Him.  For everything.

Including because His mercy endureth forever.

Thank You, Lord!  We all need your mercy.

I'm also thankful to those who participated on Injured Workers Day, June 1st.

Please join me in being thankful in other ways as well.

Be thankful to CTV.

Be thankful to all who provided in many ways for injured workers and for those who are in support of injured workers and Rolly Marentette, who will always been remembered.

Be thankful to Unifor, the union group who has provided our Windsor injured workers group to meet with a few of their union workers, at one of their buildings in Windsor.

Thank you.

I also thank God.

And, always will.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Remembrance...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know more about something that happened in the past.

Yes, it's regarding what happened on June 1st, Injured Workers Day!

Why am I discussing this now?  Well, a couple of days ago, it was Labour Day!

Labour Day, supports workers!

So, I thought it would be good to let you know more about what happened after injured workers and those who supported injured workers, met and protested Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), in front of their building, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Not only did we hold signs and allow drivers to read them, some people also did speaking.  Most of those who did, spoke about how WSIB is truly not supporting injured workers, the way they should be.

One speaker, whose name I do not know, spoke about how WSIB will be rewarded by the province of Ontario increasing the value of minimum wage.  And, how injured workers will be affected.  Thank you, sir... for explaining it to everyone.

I also spoke.  Please know I didn't say a lot.

However, I commented about how WSIB does NOT help injured workers, always.

I commented about how WSIB does NOT always provide medical care that injured workers need.

I also commented about how WSIB does NOT always provide medicines prescribed to injured workers.

Even though I didn't speak much, I spoke truth.  And, people there, were happy I said it.

When the meeting here in Windsor in front of WSIB ended, we met at Fogular Furlan.  It's a centre where people can meet for purposes.  Like how another group met there, that evening supporting firemen/women and other fire workers.

Who met with us?

Anyone/everyone who knew about the dinner being held to honour Rolly Marentette.  As you may have read in the past, Rolly was a truly wonderful worker, who supported health care in various ways, including helping and being in support of injured workers.

Even though Rolly's funeral was only a couple days before this dinner meeting to honour him, he was still honoured... in remembrance.

And, so were injured workers.

You see, anyone who was not an injured worker, who attended the dinner meeting, had to pay the price for their dinner tickets.

However, anyone who was an injured worker, didn't have to pay for their dinner ticket.  Not even me.

For this, I was truly thankful.  And, felt like I was also being honoured, in addition to Rolly.

Even so, I was happy that speakers honoured Rolly.

Thinking about this, made me think of Philippians 2:4, "Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others."

Amen!  We need to not look only at our own things, but we need to look at the things of others.

Just as whoever set up that dinner meeting did.

Thank you... whoever it was who set up the dinner meeting.  I think I know, and thanked some of those people there, but since I truly am not sure, I don't want to quote who I think it was.

Please know that I pray that some day, WSIB will do what they need to do, to support injured workers in a better way, instead of making it worse and worse for injured workers.

Please join me in prayer.

Pray for injured workers.

Pray that WSIB will stop hurting injured worker, in some ways.

Pray that WSIB will help injured workers more than they have.

Pray that anyone/everyone who works for WSIB will truly become Christian and will gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Why Do I feel this way?

I don't believe that anyone who truly belongs to God, would want to work anywhere hurting others.

Thank you for praying.

May God bless you.

Support...

I decided I should let you know about something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It actually happened a while ago. On June 1st, Injured Workers Day!

As you probably read in the past, injured workers and people who support injured workers met and protested on Ouellette Ave., here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  In front of the building where Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), is located.

We met at 4:00 p.m.  Many of us wore yellow T-shirts that advertised and promoted the Ontario Network of Injured Workers Groups (ONIWG).

ONIWG not only supports injured workers within our province of Ontario.  They also annually hold what they call, #JUSTICE BIKE RIDE, showing bicycles and bike-riders on the T-shirts.

Also, the T-shirts say, In Unity There is Strength.

I must admit, I truly agree with what the T-shirts said.  And, appreciate what ONIWG members did this year, just like they've done in the past.

Every year, ONIWG has people who are bike riders meet in a city away from Toronto, Ontario.  In the past, they met in Windsor, but this year, they met in Ottawa, Ontario.

Those people rode their bikes along the way to Toronto, wearing those yellow T-shirts while supporting and promoting injured workers.  For this, I am truly thankful.

Of course, they arrived and met in Toronto at the Injured Workers Day meeting that was advertised and promoted to happen on June 1st.  Again, I must say I am truly thankful.

Thank you!  May God bless you for all you have done for injured workers!

I'm also thankful that they provided us with those yellow T-shirts.

Why?

Because we do not have T-shirts of our own.  And, by wearing them, like the ONIWG members were doing, we were able to honour them, and other fellow injured workers.

Yes, we did that.  We met.  We did our protest in a quiet way.

There were signs so drivers could read while driving by.  Or, read while they were stopped by the traffic light nearby.

We didn't do anything to hurt WSIB or any of their workers.

Thinking about all we did, made me think of Philippians 2:3, "Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves."

Amen.  We need to do nothing through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind, we need to esteem others better than ourselves.

Just like we did, while supporting ONIWG members and other injured workers.

For this, I am truly thankful.

Thankful to all who supported injured workers on Injured Workers Day.

Of course, I am thankful to God.

And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Happy Labour Day!

I'll be letting you know how important today is,
here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).
Why is today important?
It's...
Labour Day!
On
Labour/Labor Day,
(spelling depending upon the country)
people who work
here in Canada, USA
or other countries,
are celebrated.
If you'd like to read about it,
click on this link:
Thinking about how people work
made me think of
Colossians 3:23,
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily,
as to the Lord,
and not unto men;"
Yes, whatever we do,
we need to do it
heartily to
the Lord,
and not unto men.
Meaning,
even though we do work
with/for people,
we need to make sure
we work hard,
and do all for
our Lord.
Enjoy your special day
that you're able to share with
family and friends.
I will wish you...
Happy Labour Day!
Until next time...

Breathe...

Today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing something with you.

Yes, today is a very special day.  For it's our day of worship!

We need to worshipping in spirit and in truth.  Hopefully, you do.

In addition, we can worship through music.  :)

The music I'm sharing with you today, is by Michael W. Smith and is entitled, Breathe.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-0EgzOWkvc&feature=youtu.be.  The lyrics are below.

Breathe

This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your Holy presence living in me

This is my daily bread
This is my daily bread
Your very Word spoken to me

And I... I'm desperate for you
And I... I'm lost without you

This is the air I breathe
This is the air I breathe
Your Holy presence living in me

This is my daily bread
This is my daily bread
Your very Word spoken to me

And I... I'm desperate for you
And I...  I'm lost without you

And I... I'm desperate for you
And I... I'm lost without you.

I'm lost without you.

I'm lost without you.

I'm desperate for you.

(Cry out to live)

I'm desperate for you...

I'm desperate for you...

I'm lost without you now

I'm desperate for you

I'm desperate for you
I'm lost, I'm lost, I'm lost without you..

I'm lost without you

I'm lost without you.

I'm lost without you.

I'm desperate for you.

(How many of you are hungry for God? Are you hungry for Him?)
Amen!  Amen!

This is the air we breathe!

Well, at least those of us who look to Him, for His presence.

Thinking of this, brought to mind Exodus 33:14, "And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest."

Just as today's Bible verse says, His presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Hallelujah!

It's exactly why the lyrics of today's music, refers to needing His presence.

We can be desperate and lost without Him.  But, when we come to Him, and gain his presence by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, He takes care of us.  And, gives us rest.

For this, I'm thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Become...

Today, is a day here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), when I'll do something like I've done in the past.

I'll tell you about movies I've watched!

Here are some movies I've watched:

Wee Willie Winkie, starring Shirley Temple, Victor McLaglen and other actors.  If you'd like to check out this American adventure film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wee_Willie_Winkie_(film).  Since I adore this extremely old movie, I've watched it many times and was happy to have seen it, again.

Baby, It's You, starring Rosanna Arquette, Vincent Spano and many other actors.  To check out this American film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_It%27s_You_(film).  Even though this film is about a young couple, it touched my heart.

A River Runs Through It, starring Craig Sheffer, Brad Pitt and many other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American period coming-of-age drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_River_Runs_Through_It_(film).  Even though this movie was sad in some ways, I enjoyed watching it, since there were a couple brothers/family in the story.

For Keeps, starring Molly Ringwald, Randall Batinkoff and Kenneth Mars.  Would you like to check out this American coming-of-age drama film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_Keeps_(film).  Even though this film involved a young couple with a stressful life, I enjoyed watching the movie.

In Country, starring Frank Pierson and Cynthia Cidre.  Please click on this link, to check out this American drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Country.  In some ways this movie made me sad, but also happy.  Especially, at the end of the movie, when the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. USA was attended.  It touched my heart seeing this in the movie, but also when I was there myself, years ago with my now deceased husband, Gordon and our children.

All these movies truly touched my heart.  After all, they all seemed to be based on young people's lives.

Thinking of this, I thought of 1 Corinthians 13:11, "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things."

Amen... When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became an adult (not a man, but a woman), I put away childish things.

We all need to do this.

We all need to put away childish things.

The best way to do it, is to read God's Word... the Bible.  This way we can become more educated, and knowledgeable.

When we read the Bible, we grow in our relationship with God.

Childish things get put away.  We realize what God wants us to do.

And, what He'll do for us.

For this, I'm thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Cannot!

There's something I need to show you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not something to hurt anyone by.  It's just something that will educate people on truth.

Here's what it is:

Did you read those verses from the Qur'an?

Were you amazed?

Are you wondering why I showed you this?

To be honest, I have tried to always speak truth.  Yet, so many people think that I'm not telling the truth regarding what the Qur'an teaches Muslims.

Please realize that EVERY Muslim is taught this through the Qur'an, and through teachings by their Imam's (Islamic pastors/ministers).  Yes... E...V...E...R...Y... Muslim.

So, are you thinking I'm putting down Muslims?

Hopefully, you don't think this, because I'm letting you know that not every Muslim does what their god wants them to do, just as these verses in the Qur'an state.  If they all did, they would all be what government officials would call terrorists.

After all, everything stated in that photo showing verses from the Qur'an are things that terrorists are doing.  Not just in one (1) country, but in many and various countries in the world.

So, as I heard someone else say, it is what terrorists do.

But, not all Muslims do it, even though they are taught that their god wants them to do it.

Is it different being Christian?

No.

Not everyone who claims to be Christian is doing what our God wants us to do.

Many people who claim they are Christian do not read His Word, the Bible.  Many also do not worship.  Or, pray.

Some people decide that even though they love Jesus, our Lord, and have been forgiven by loving Him, they feel it is okay to sin.

But, it's not.

We all need a relationship with Jesus.

If we truly trust Him and believe upon Him, we will begin to have a relationship with Jesus and will gain salvation.  Plus, as we do what God wants us to do, our relationship grows closer to Him, with less and less sin.

People who are truly born-again Christians don't want to sin.

Just as we read, in 1 John 3:9, "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God."

Amen!  Whoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Do you sin?

Do you lie?

Do you murder people?

Do you rape people?

Do you abuse people?

If so, you do not belong to God, for you are sinning.

Please, come to Christ.  Today.

Tomorrow may be too late.

Until next time...
