Yes, we need to worship. Always.
In addition to worshipping in spirit and in truth, we can also worship through music. Just as I enjoy doing.
A Facebook (FB) friend of mine, shared another song that I had never before heard. And, enjoyed.
It's by Jabez and is entitled, Am Drinking From My Saucer. Here is a link on YouTube, for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg4AX8OZnng. The lyrics are below.
Am Drinking From My Saucer
OOhhh yeah, we worship you Lord, yeah
Come on ..... yeah
I've never made a fortune
It's probably not too late
Oh but I don't worry about that much
'Cause I'm happy anyhow
Come on ..... yeah
I've never made a fortune
It's probably not too late
Oh but I don't worry about that much
'Cause I'm happy anyhow
As I go along life's journey
I'm reaping better than I sowed
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed
I'm reaping better than I sowed
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed
Ain't got a lot of riches
Sometimes the going is rough
But I've got a friend in Jesus
And that makes me rich enough
I thank God for all His blessings on me
And the mercy He's bestowed
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed
Sometimes the going is rough
But I've got a friend in Jesus
And that makes me rich enough
I thank God for all His blessings on me
And the mercy He's bestowed
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed
(((you know right now, you may be going through some rough times in your life, but I'm here to encourage you today, Not to give up!
I pronounce a blessing upon your life, upon your family, you must prosper and be good in health in the name of Jesus, I believe with all my heart)))
I pronounce a blessing upon your life, upon your family, you must prosper and be good in health in the name of Jesus, I believe with all my heart)))
So Lord help me not to grumble and complain
Of the tough roads I have known
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed
And if I should go on living
Should the way get steep and rough
May I ask for no other blessing, Jesus
'Cause I'm already blessed enough
May I never be too busy
To help a brother bear his load
I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed
Yes, I'm drinking from my saucer
'Cause my cup has overflowed
My cup has overflowed
Amen! Our cups runneth over, if/when we belong to God.
Just as we read, in Psalm 23:5-6, "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
He will prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies. He will anoint our head with oil; our cup runneth over.
Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord, forever.
This is truly how I feel, since I belong to Him.
Do you?
Hopefully, so.
For if you do, God will truly bless you.
Until next time...
