20 Years...

Today, is a day that I would like to mention about someone, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's actually 20 years ago, when someone died.

Who was it?

Princess Diana!

Here is a link for you to read about Diana, Princess of Waleshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diana,_Princess_of_Wales.

Diana, was someone I truly adored.  I must admit, I felt broken-hearted when she died.  :'(

An article regarding Diana, was posted a while ago.  I decided to not share it until today.

I found the article online by msn.com and it was entitled, Princess Diana crash limo was 'death trap' that had been written off and rebuilt according to shock new claimshttp://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/princess-diana-crash-limo-was-death-trap-that-had-been-written-off-and-rebuilt-according-to-shock-new-claims/ar-BBBKl0A?li=AAadgLE&ocid=ientp.

Please... click on that link, and read the entire article.  I can't share it all with you, but I will share a small amount of interesting information that was stated (I copied/pasted):

The only survivor of the car crash was Trevor Rees-Jones, a former Parachute Regiment soldier turned bodyguard, now aged 49.

Mr. Rees-Jones, who was the only person sitting in the Mercedes wearing a seatbelt, was rushed to hospital and made a remarkable recovery.

Mr. al-Fayed has always been convinced that Diana’s death was the result of an MI6 plot ordered by the Royal Family.

They did not want to see the Princess marry Dodi following her divorce from Prince Charles, Mr. al-Fayed has alleged.

But in 2008 a British jury delivered an inquest verdict of ‘unlawful killing’ caused by the ‘grossly negligent’ Henri Paul, who was speeding away from the paparazzi’s mopeds.

Wow!

It's truly amazing how different people think, regarding the collision that ended Diana's life.

Did anyone truly know that her life would end at her age?  Not really.

We truly don't know what will happen in our lives.  Or, when our lives will end.

Thinking of this, made me think of James 4:14, "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

Amen... we have no idea what will happen tomorrow, regarding our lives.  Our life is even a vapour that only appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.

Knowing our lives will end, we need to be prepared.  And, we need to have gained salvation, by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

For then, we won't spend eternity in Hell, separated from God, forever, with no chance of escape, as what will happen for those who do not gain salvation.

Instead, we will spend eternity in Heaven with Him.

For this, I'm thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
