The article I want to discuss isn't new. It's from May 12, 2016. So, it's slightly over a year ago, when it was posted online.
The article is by faithit.com and is entitled, Christian Girl Is Burned to Death by ISIS but Her Final 2 Words Prove That God Wins: http://faithit.com/christian-girl-burned-to-death-by-isis-final-2-words-forgive-them/.
I hope you clicked on the link, to read the entire article.
If you didn't, I'll share with you some information that was quoted in the article. Here it is (I copied/pasted):
In America, we’re often shielded from the terror that ISIS inflicts on Jesus followers, but the Middle East is no stranger to Christian persecution, as one young girl’s account of sacrifice clearly shows.
According to a report by the Catholic News Agency, one Christian mother from Mosul answered her door to a group of ISIS militants who said she must flee or pay a jizya tax, a penalty imposed by many Islamic states on their non-Muslim subjects. She only requested a few seconds to retrieve the payment, but they refused to give her the time. Instead, they immediately torched the woman’s house while her daughter was in the shower, “burning and eventually killing her,” reported the CNA.
The young girl died in the arms of her mother, but the final two words she spoke just before she passed have resonated with the world.
“Forgive them,” she said as she took her last breaths.
Reading this article made me both sad... and happy.
Even so, tears arose in my eyes.
To me, it is very upsetting about what happened to this girl. And, her family.
After all, Muslims who are in a group of ISIS, truly hurt the family, and not just the girl.
Their home was burned down. And, the girls life ended, after being burnt to death.
Yet, it truly touched my heart what the girl's last two (2) words were.
Forgive them... is what she said. Just what God wanted her and each and every Christian to do.
Just as the article quoted, regarding Ephesians 4:32, "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
As Christians, we need to be kind to one another.
We need to be tender hearted.
We need to be forgiving of one another.
Even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Yes, it breaks my heart that Muslims killed that girl, and destroyed the family's home.
As I've said in the past, Muslims are taught to do this, to any/all unbelievers of Islam. Just as the ISIS members do, who are totally committed to doing what their sinful, god... Satan, wants them to do, unlike many other Muslims, who always claim they aren't to do things like this.
However, the Christian girl did what her/our God wanted her to do.
Even though you may not like what is being done to people who are not believers of Islam, it is so very important for us Christians to forgive.
Yes, I forgive. Even though some people think I'm hateful because I speak truth about Islam, even though I am not hateful.
Do you forgive, whenever you are hurt by other people?
For if you forgive, you will be blessed by our God.
Thank You, Lord!
Until next time...
