Amazing...

Being SONday, there's something I'll be doing, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Do you know what it is I'll be doing?

You may realize that since we worship today, I'll share with you some music to worship through.

The music is by Phil Wickham and is entitled, This is Amazing Grace.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgsbaBIaoVc.  The lyrics are below.

This Is Amazing Grace

Who breaks the power of sin and darkness?
Whose love is mighty and so much stronger?
The King of Glory, the King above all kings

Who shakes the whole earth with holy thunder
And leaves us breathless in awe and wonder?
The King of Glory, the King above all kings

This is amazing grace
This is unfailing love
That You would take my place
That You would bear my cross
You laid down Your life
That I would be set free
Oh, Jesus, I sing for
All that You've done for me

Who brings our chaos back into order?
Who makes the orphan a son and daughter?
The King of Glory, the King of Glory

Who rules the nations with truth and justice,
Shines like the sun in all of its brilliance?
The King of Glory, the King above all kings

This is amazing grace
This is unfailing love
That You would take my place
That You would bear my cross
You laid down Your life
That I would be set free
Oh, Jesus, I sing for
All that You've done for me

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy is the King who conquered the grave
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
Worthy, worthy, worthy
Oh

This is amazing grace
This is unfailing love
That You would take my place
That You would bear my cross
You laid down Your life
That I would be set free
Oh, Jesus, I sing for
All that You've done for me

All that You've done for me

Amen!

He paid the price for the sin of the world, for all who would believe upon Him.

By trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, we gain salvation.  By doing this, we've received His amazing grace.

Thinking of this, made me think of Ephesians 2:8, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:"

Amen!  The grace we receive is truly amazing.

We're saved by grace... alone, through faith... alone, in Christ... alone.

And, it's truly the gift of God.

For this, I am thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
