Hopefully, you read Life with Lynnie (LwL), yesterday.
If you did, you'll know that I drove my van to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and dropped it off.
As I mentioned yesterday, it was shocking to me that the woman working at the Go Train/Via Rail Station, told me I couldn't purchase a train ticket, there.
Yes, it was truly upsetting to me. Especially, since the woman went online and we could both see that I was correct. The site never said tickets couldn't be purchased there.
As I told you yesterday, God answered my prayer to help me.
Did the woman help me? No.
The woman refused to help me, even though when she was online, I asked her to arrange a ticket for me, and I would use my credit card number. She didn't and wouldn't do it.
When I asked God to help me, a man standing behind the working woman, must have heard me ask the Lord to help me.
Why do I think this?
He tried using their telephone system to phone Via Rail, and help me obtain a ticket. Unfortunately, their telephone cut the call off each and every time, he tried to have it done.
Eventually, he changed the handset, and I was finally able to talk to the Via Rail salesperson through the telephone system.
Praise God! Thank You, Lord!
I was given a confirmation number, and was told they would e-mail me with receipts for both trains I would have to take to return to Windsor, so that on the train the e-mail would be scanned as my ticket from there to London, and the other ticket from London, to Windsor.
Then, the man who helped me, insisted we leave there. He led me up to where the train would be coming.
Apparently, if the train operators aren't aware someone has a ticket, the train won't stop there. And, we only had about a minute before the train arrived.
As the train was seen coming, the man began waving in a very special way. And, the train ended up stopping! Hallelujah!
The train driver spoke out to us, and asked why they needed to stop there. The man who helped me, responded to him, letting him know that I needed to board the train. And, I did!
Before I boarded the train, I thanked the man who helped me. And, hugged him!
Talk about answered prayer!
Thinking of this, made me think of Mark 11:24, "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
I praise God for knowing I believed I would receive His help that I desired. Especially, since He did it, by having that man help me... even though the woman wouldn't.
Just so you know, that man wasn't in a uniform, like the woman was. He was either finished work, or wasn't yet beginning to work.
Yet, he helped me.
After praying about this whole situation, I began to think the man who helped me, must have been Christian.
After all, he heard me ask Him for help, when I spoke out loud. When he looked at me, he must have seen me wearing a ring with a cross on it.
So, I believe God placed it on his heart, to help me.
Again, I'll say I am truly thankful to this man, for helping me.
I pray God will bless him. And, I'm sure He will.
If by chance you ever go to that same Go Train/Via Rail train station in Malton, Mississauga, and see a man there, ask him if his name is Ron.
Even though I don't know Ron's last name, I would hope that you would speak up and let him know I pray for him, and will always be thankful he helped me.. and that God answered my prayer request, and helped us both.
If you do this, not only will I be happy. Not only will Ron be happy. But, I believe God will be happy with you.
May God bless Ron.
And, may God bless you.
Until next time...
