Do All!

There's something I need to tell you about, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

It's not something bad, or evil.  It's something good, and truly wonderful!

Before I tell you what happened, I feel I need to let you know that someone had been on my mind, off and on, for quite a while.  In fact, for about a week or so, the person never left my mind.  And, I prayed for him.

Even though we aren't best friends, we are both born again Christians.  We both feel that we need to do what God would have us do.  So, we think alike in some ways.

As I mentioned, I hadn't seen him in a very long time.  He was on my mind from time to time.  I didn't even see him on Facebook (FB), so I felt badly that we had no contact with each other.

Then, a friend of mine called me.

As we spoke on the phone, she let me know that she was in the hospital.  She was walking to the room where that male friend of ours was actually staying.

It was shocking to me, finding out that he was in hospital!  Yes, it was the fellow I had been thinking about.

After hearing about what happened to him, I realized that God had him on my heart and mind, for over a week at that time.  And, I'd been praying for him, even though I didn't know he had been ill.

Wow!  Talk about a blessing!

The blessing wasn't just for me hearing about what the fellow went through.  Although, I must say that when I spoke with him, I was happy he was still alive.

All three (3) of us commented about how God obviously wants him still here on earth.  And, we agreed to actually speak together after things in our lives improve.

Plus, we prayed.

We prayed for healing for our male friend who was in hospital.  We thanked God that we felt it was His will to keep him alive, here on earth.

Thinking about this, made me think of Colossians 3:17, "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him."

Amen!  Whatever we do in word or deed, we need to do in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him!

By doing so, we each felt blessed and happy knowing that God absolutely is in control.  And, is showing His love to those in need, like our friend in the hospital.

For this, we were thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
