What Do You Want?

You may realize that I need to discuss something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It was something I did, yesterday.

Sunday, was and is always a very special day.  It's the day when we Christians gather together to worship.

Yes, I did.  I went to worship.

I worshipped with a church family group, that is quite large.  I've been there in the past.

Plus, I know several people who worship, there.

While several times I've seen the uncle of a fellow Christian, who used to be my pastor for many years, it was the first time in many weeks when we actually spoke together.  It was nice!

There was someone else I spoke with.  This fellow Christian is the Minister of Music

Usually, he's playing piano, so I only just see him, there.

In the past, I've seen him at this place of worship.  But, not just there.

Friends and I used to sometimes go and watch him when he played in a band.  We used to go to support him and encourage him.

Yesterday, I actually was able to speak with him.  We had a short, but nice conversation.

The worship service was typical of what is normally done.  And, the music was lovely.

However, something happened that was the best part of the worship service.  At least, for me.

We had communion!

Ahh... this made me feel truly happy!

Why?

Having communion, is very important.

Just as we read, in John 6:53, "Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you."

Just as Jesus said... except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.

Let's face it.  If you are not trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, you do not have Jesus in your life.

If this is the case, then you won't bother in taking communion.  For, it wouldn't be important to you to participate in communion, when you have bread as His flesh, and juice or wine, that represents His blood.

If this is truly how you feel, then unfortunately, when your life ends here on earth, you will spend eternity in Hell, separated from God... with NO chance of escape.

Is this what you would want?

Or, would you rather be like me and fellow Christians?

You see, we Christians have gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Yes, it's that simple.

Just do it.

If you trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, then when your life ends here on earth, you will spend eternity in Heaven... with God.

Hopefully, you have become a fellow Christian.

If not, come to Christ, today.

Tomorrow... may be too late.

Until next time...
