You're Invited! Please Come!

Guess what I'll be doing today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)?

I'm giving you an invitation!  :)

Yes!

I'm inviting you to join me and other people who are in support of Injured Workers.

Tomorrow, on Thursday, June 1st, 2017... we won't be having a meeting where we usually get together.

Instead, we will be getting together in a couple of ways.  And, in a couple locations.

If you're on Facebook (FB), feel free to check out the information on this page:  https://www.facebook.com/events/1348639895226766/?notif_t=plan_user_invited&notif_id=1494621902143229.

If you're not able to click on the link and read the information, I'll let you read what I can share with you:

Windsor and District Labour Council - WDLC's photo.

Yes, I am inviting you to attend!

As you read, we'll be meeting at:

* 4-5pm in front of Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), at 2485 Ouellette Ave., Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

After...

* 5-7pm we'll gather together for a reception to honour Rolly Marentette, at Fogular Furlan, 1800 North Service Road, Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

We truly need to honour Rolly Marentette tomorrow, on Injured Workers Day, because he's done so much work for people who needed help.

Thinking of this, made me think of Hebrews 6:10 (NIV), "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them."

God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.

Hallelujah!

Rolly Marentette is a person here in Windsor, that has helped injured workers so very much.  I praise God that he's being honoured, especially since he is a brother in the Lord.

Please... if you are able to attend, please come.  Join us.

If you aren't able to attend, please... pray.

Thank you.

May God bless you.

Until next time...

#7 = #2...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be telling you about something I did.  Actually, I did it Saturday, May 27th

I should let you know that my friend, D had invited me to attend a Trivia night with some adults from her church.  In the past, I've attended women's group meetings there.  And, have sung there, just as you may have read in the past.

To be honest, I was a little bit nervous thinking about attending.  But, I truly wanted to.  So, I did.

When I arrived, I found out I was in group #7.  To be honest, I didn't even count the tables to know how many there were, but there had to be many more than 7.

Four (4) of us were seated at each group table.  It was shocking to me that I didn't know any of the other three (3) people, who were part of our table group.

I have to admit that we did get to know each other fairly well!

We participated in four (4) games.  The basis for each game was different.

The first game was based on the Bible.  Of course this didn't shock me.  :)

The other games were based on other items like entertainment, sports and then, history/geography.

Each game had 10 questions.  Together, we decided on what to use as an answer, and our answer was written on the paper page given to us.

After the paper pages were collected from every group, then we were all told what the answers were.

Sometimes, we were shocked.  Shocked because we got the answer correct... or, because we answered incorrectly!  :)

Since we all brought types of food that were nice to share with everyone, we also enjoyed eating, together.

In any case, I must say that we definitely got to know each other.  And, enjoyed participating in the evening of fellowship.

Thinking how positive and enjoyable it was to participate in the evening of fun and fellowship, made me think of Proverbs 17:22, " A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones."

Yes, a merry heart does good like medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones.  Just as we read in today's Bible verse.

Knowing that everyone not just our table, but in the whole fellowship room, enjoyed spending the evening together, I realize that no one had a broken spirit.  Even though not everyone or every group did well participating in the trivia event.

It seemed that everyone had a merry heart.  To me, it seemed everyone enjoyed their time, there.  Just like I did.

So, I believe that everyone felt like I did.  Blessed.

Yes, I enjoyed my time with the whole group that evening.  But, I must say I also enjoyed being with the group of us seated at table #7.

Why?

We found out that we who were of table #7, didn't win as the top/best knowledge group.  But, we found out we were in 2nd place!  :)

For all the enjoyment, I'm grateful for participating in the group event.

I'm also thankful my friend invited me.  Thank you, D!

However, I'm also grateful that I felt truly blessed.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Happy Memorial Day!

Today, is a day when I want to wish you
Happy Memorial Day,
here on
Life with Lynnie (LwL)!

Even though I am Canadian,
I usually try to encourage people
to know about what happens
in
USA.
Why?
Well, if you know me,
or
if you have read LwL
for a long time,
you'll know that as a child
I lived in USA
for a few years.
So, even though I am not American,
I feel like I am.  Sort of!
In any case,
if you're not aware of what
Memorial Day
is,
then please
click on this link,
so you can read about it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memorial_Day.

If you read it,
you'll realize that
Memorial Day
is a
Federal Holiday
in the
United States.

It's a day when
USA
remembers
all men and women who
died
while working for
the
American Armed Forces.

Even though people die from helping us and others,
many people mourn.

Thinking of this, made me think of
Matthew 5:4,
"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."

Yes, when we mourn,
God comforts us.

For this,
I praise God!

Thank You, Lord!

Happy Memorial Day!
Until next time...

The Lighthouse!

Being our Lord's Day, I'll be discussing something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  It's something I usually mention.

It's our day of worship!

Like I usually do, I let you know that in addition to worshipping with church family, I also enjoy worshipping through music.

For the last couple of SONday's, I've shared music with you that a Facebook (FB) friend shared with me.  It's always been songs that I wasn't aware of.

Today, I'm sharing another piece of music that my FB friend shared with me.

It's by The Crabb Family, and is entitled, The Lighthouse.  Here is a link of YouTube, for you to listen to and/or sing along:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOJrT5H2zco&feature=share.  The lyrics are below.

The Lighthouse

There is a lighthouse on the hillside and it overlooks life's sea.
And when I'm tossed you know it sends down a big old light, it's a light that I might see.
And the light that shines in darkness now is gonna safely lead me home,
But if it wasn't for that old lighthouse, you know this old ship, it would sail no more.

And, now everybody that lives around us, all around us, they say tear that old lighthouse down,
We all know the big ships don't sail by this way anymore

For there ain't no use in that old thing standing round.
Oh, but then my mind, it goes back to that stormy night, when just in time I thank God I saw the light
Oh yes, the best thing about that old lighthouse, it still stands way up there on the hill.

I thank God for The Lighthouse, I owe my life to Him.
For Jesus is The Lighthouse and from the rocks of sin,
Oh, He has shown His light around me, that I could clearly see.
If it wasn't for The Lighthouse, then where would this ship be?

Yes, Jesus showed His light around us... who belong to Him.

Thinking of this, brought to mind John 8:12, "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

I praise God that He is the light of the world... and that whoever follows Him, shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Just as we do, who belong to Him.

Hopefully, you trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

For if you do, you've gained salvation, and belong to Him.  And, won't walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Yes, I belong to Him.

For this, I am thankful.  And, always will be.

Thank You, Lord!

It Is...

I'm sharing something, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), because yesterday was a special day.

What was it?

It was John Wayne's birthday!  Well, not really, since he's no longer here on earth.  But, if he were alive, then May 26th would have been his birthday.

Why does this seem important?

Well, being the date of what would have been John Wayne's birthday, many movies were shown that day, on television (TV) stations I watch on a normal basis.  Of course, before that day I had also seen some movies starring John Wayne.

In any case, I'm sharing some movies I watched:

The Shootist, starring John Wayne, Lauren Bacall and many other actors.  Would you like to check out this American western film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Shootist.  Knowing that much shooting was done, didn't seem good to me, but the movie was interesting.

True Grit, starring John Wayne, Kim Darby and many other actors.  Click on this link, if you'd like to check out this American western filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_Grit_(1969_film).  I must admit that even though this movie isn't perfect, I truly enjoyed it.

El Dorado, starring John Wayne, James Caan and many other actors.  If you'd like to check out this American western film, click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/El_Dorado_(1966_film).  Even though there was hatred in the movie, I liked the fact there was love.

Flame of Barbary Coast, starring John Wayne, Ann Dvorak and other actors.  Click here, if you want to check out this American western filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flame_of_Barbary_Coast.  Even though things didn't always go well, it seemed to end well.

Westward Ho, starring John Wayne and Sheila Bromley.  Want to check out this American western film?  Click here:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westward_Ho_(1935_film).  Although the reason for the hatred was serious, I still enjoyed watching the movie.

Is it amazing to you that each of these movies starred John Wayne?  I doubt if you were shocked.

It may seem amazing that each of these films were American western films.  However, John Wayne starred in many, many, many American western films.

None of these movies were Christian films, so it's probably not surprising that there was much vengeance in them.

After all, vengeance is something people sometimes feel.  Especially if they don't rely on God, and realize that vengeance is His... and not anyone else's.

Just as we read, in Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."

Amen!  we need to not avenge ourselves, even if we are being hurt by other people.  For vengeance isn't ours.  It is His... just as today's Bible verse tells us.  And, He will repay.

This is truly so important for us to know... and to accept.

Life isn't easy.

But, God is good.

He's with us always.  As long as we belong to him.

I belong to Him.

Do you?

Hopefully, so.  For if you belong to Him, He will repay and you won't have to avenge anyone who hurts you.

To me, this is truly a blessing.

Hallelujah!

T & R...

Today, I'll be doing something again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

What is it?

I'll be speaking truth.  Again.

Slantedright2.blogspot.ca shared an article entitled, Intro to Greg Zotta Relating to Islam:  http://slantedright2.blogspot.ca/2017/05/intro-to-greg-zotta-relating-to-islam.html#.WRZlr4WcHmK.

In case you weren't able to click on the link and read the article, I am sharing with you, some of what was written (I copied/pasted all of the article information I'm sharing with you):

I found a disturbing but not surprising article posted at WND by Leo Hohmann. The title: EX-OBAMA ADVISER ROOTS FOR MORE ISIS SLAUGHTERING OF CHRISTIANS. The ex-Obama adviser: Mohamed Elibiary.

Elibiary adviser job: He “served five years on President Obama’s Homeland Security Advisory Council and was instrumental in the rollout of Obama’s countering violent extremism pilot program, which took the heat off of Islam as the inspiration for global terrorism.”

The theme of the article from Hohmann:

“On Sunday, he stepped back up to the plate and delivered a stinging tweet against the Middle East’s largest Christian community – the Coptic Christians of Egypt.

In its latest magazine, ISIS threatened more attacks on Egypt’s Christians.

So what was the reaction from Elibiary?

He says Egypt’s Copts have it coming”. (Bold text by Editor)

It also stated:

The United States does not want nor need what has been happening to the various countries in Europe with the invasion of Muslims.

Muslims will not assimilate into the American culture and Sharia Law is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution. Islam is a political and military system masquerading as a religion.

Their prophet Mohammed was a pedophile rapist, slaver and mass murderer.

Muslims believe the infidels will have to convert to Islam, be enslaved or be killed.

Muslims can lie to the infidel to promote Islam called Taqiyya, so they cannot be trusted.

The Muslim Brotherhood calls for a **“Civilization-Jihadist Process,” in which they would destroy the Western civilization from within.

They said they would use the Constitution, such as the First Amendment right of Freedom of Religion against the U.S. to further their goal of World Islam.

They state, we do not want to democratize Islam, we want to Islamize democracy. That is what we want. “We Will Raise The Flag Of Allah In The White House.”

They will try to push Sharia law on this country if the American people do not wake up.

Again, Islam is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution and the American culture.

A photo was also used on the article.  I'm sharing it with you, here:

Like I've said in the past, truth is very important.

Not just truth about what is happening in our world.  And, what will happen in the future.

The most important truth, is what we learn in God's Word, the Bible.

Just as we read, in Ephesians 6:14, "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;"

Yes, we need to stand having our loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.  After all, truth (T) and righteousness (R), are very important to obtain.

How does this happen?

Like I mentioned already, we need to read God's Word, the Bible.

Of course, in order to understand, and accept what is said to you, you must have already gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Then, when you read God's Word, the Bible, you'll learn and understand truth.

If you haven't yet done this, please... do it today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Abounding...

Every now and then, I share something with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL) that I received by e-mail.  Today is another day I'll be doing this.

The e-mail message I received was from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  Here's what I received (I copied/pasted it):

Lynn,

Yesterday afternoon, I received a call from the Vice President's office.

President Trump and Vice President Pence raised the case of American Pastor Andrew Brunson three times with Turkey's President Erdoğan.

This is exactly what we asked the President to do and is a major sign of significant progress toward bringing Pastor Andrew home.

The White House issued a formal statement: "President Trump raised the incarceration of Pastor Andrew Brunson and asked that the Turkish Government expeditiously return him to the United States."

This U.S. citizen has been wrongfully imprisoned in Turkey for more than 7 months, languishing in an overcrowded prison cell because of his Christian faith.

I'm going back to D.C. today to continue our global advocacy for Pastor Brunson and his family.

We will not stop until Pastor Andrew is reunited with his family on American soil. Be heard today.

Sign Our Petition: Free American Pastor Andrew from Prison.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

Wow!

Receiving this e-mail message truly touched my heart!

Why?

Even though some people believe that USA's President Donald Trump and Vice-President Mike Pence are not truly doing what God would have them do, I have believed they are.

Now... receiving this information, confirmation of my belief... arrived!

Why do I think this?

Donald Trump and Mike Pence did what God would truly want them to do.

Just as we read, in 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord."

Thank You, Lord!

Yes, His beloved brethren, we need to be stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as we know that our labour is not in van with the Lord.

Donald Trump and Mike Pence's labour is not in vain with the Lord.  They are in the process of doing what our Lord would want them to do, just as they are doing in many ways, including what they are doing for Pastor Andrew Brunson.

Praise God!

Hallelujah!

Please, join them in doing what God would have you do.

Do what you can to help.

Pray.

Plus, sign the petition, if you haven't already.

By doing so, you will also be abounding in the work of the Lord.

And, will be blessed by Him!

Until next time...

C, L & G...

I'll be letting you know, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), what I did.

I attended a funeral.

Not the funeral for my cousin, C.  She was buried in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on the weekend.  You see, I wasn't able to get there, for last Friday, May 19th, 2017 due to living so very far away.

However, I did attend a funeral, yesterday, Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017.  The funeral was for my friend, L.

As you may know, my friend, L... died on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017, at about 8:30 pm.  Not where she lived.  L, died at the hospital.

L had been in hospital for a couple weeks.

Originally, she was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for about a week,  Then, she was moved into a normal/regular hospital room.

Instead of healing fully, L suffered more and more.  And, died.

After L's death, I wrote on the Guest Book, online.  Here's what I wrote:

I truly miss Lynn Allen, but am grateful that she is no longer suffering, and is now with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Some day, I'll see her again. Thank You, Lord...

Amen...  I truly feel this way.

I had been asked to notify anyone I thought needed to know about L's funeral.  So, I did.  I e-mailed people, and posted it on Facebook (FB), and shared messages on FB, also.

At the gravesite, there was about 25 people.  Some relatives, but mostly friends, for L... never had children.

We all prayed and listened to the pastor speak.

Of course, many of us spoke with each other.  Later, I even spoke with, R... a friend of my daughter, B, when we came across each other!

As we were leaving, we were offered flowers.  I was given some.  I must admit, they were a lovely gift.  Thank you!

Knowing that it would only take about a minute to drive to where my deceased husband, Gordon was buried in Victoria Memorial Gardens cemetery, we stopped there.  Yes, I took the flowers and placed them on both Gordon's gravesite and his parents' as well.

Thinking about my friend Lynn Allen, who had just been buried, and thinking about my deceased husband, Gordon, truly touched my heart.

However, I must say that even though it made me sad that they both suffered at the end of their lives, it made me happy that they both were with our Lord... in Heaven.

Just as we read, in John 5:24, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."

How do I know both my friend Lynn and my deceased husband, Gordon are with God, in Heaven?

Well, as we read in today's Bible verse, they both received everlasting life, and passed onto life, with God... in Heaven.

How did this happen?

All they did, was trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ.  They both gained salvation.  Just as I have done.

Have you?

If not, come to Christ, today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...

Timing!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be discussing something I've never mentioned before.

I won't be able to tell you absolutely everything, at this time.  I will, in the future.

What I need to tell you, is something you aren't aware of.  I don't just own one (1) vehicle.  I actually own, two (2).

The van I use most of the time, is parked in the parking garage of the building I live in.

The other van is parked across the road, in a parking lot.

On Friday, May 12th, I had something happen.  It was shocking, but it truly amazed me.

I noticed there were some construction vehicles and workers, over in the parking lot, where I went to check on my other van.

The workers were beginning to place a portable fence around some of the parking lot.

Yes, I spoke with a couple of the workers.  Both men let me know that on Monday, May 15th, they would actually make the parking lot a place where no one could park a vehicle.

Why?  Because they would be doing work for the gas company, and the City of Windsor, doing pipe work and road work.

By telling me this, they thought I needed to no longer park there, while that work was being done.

It was shocking to them, but I let them know that I planned to move the van away from there, about 4:00 am that same morning.  And, let them know that I was taking the van up to Malton, Ontario.

To be honest, it worked out... great!

I was able to leave the van parked there.  Well, at least until the time I mentioned, on the upcoming Monday.

Talk about timing!

God is definitely in control.  And, provides for us.

Just as we read, in Ecclesiastes 3:1, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:"

Amen!  There is time for every purpose under Heaven!

Just as we read, in today's Bible verse.

God truly provides.  There's a season for everything.

Hallelujah!

Happy Victoria Day!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL),
there is something
I would like to say to you.

Happy Victoria Day!

Here in Canada,
we celebrate
Victoria Day
because
we celebrate
Queen Victoria!

Here's a link,
for you to click on
and read about
Victoria Day:

Hopefully,
you understand that today
is a
Canadian Public Holiday!

Being a long weekend,
many people enjoy it...
even though
Queen Victoria
is
no longer alive.

Canada does this
to
honour
Queen Victoria,
just as we read,
in
1 Peter 2:17,
"Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king."

Even though
Queen Victoria
wasn't a
King...
she was the Queen,
so she is honoured.

Now, even though it is called
Victoria Day,
we use this long weekend,
to honour
and
celebrate
the current person...
Queen Elizabeth!

Why?

Our country is related to
the
United Kingdom...
and Queen Elizabeth
is the current
Queen!

For this, I am thankful.
And, always will be.
Thank You, Lord!

Happy Victoria Day!

Until next time...

The King...

I'm sure you'll guess what I'll discuss today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).  After all, today is... SONday!

This is the day when we Christians meet with church family, to worship.

Of course, in addition to worshipping with others, I enjoy sharing music with you, for music is another way of worship.

A while ago, I saw a link on Facebook (FB) that was posted on a Christian group page that I created, called... Jesus Loves You!  My friend, T posted it.  Thank you, T.  Blessings...

The music was sung by Chris Blue.  Here is a YouTube link for it entitled, The Voice 2017 Chris Blue - Semifinals:  Take Me to the Kinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8f_MGc8MJjk

Yes, this video shows this music entitled, Take Me to the King, being sung on the television (TV) show known as... The Voice.  Hopefully, you clicked on it, to listen to and/or sing along.  The lyrics are below.

Take Me to the King

Truth is I'm tired
Options are few
I'm trying to pray
But where are you?
I'm all churched out
Hurt and abused
I can't fake
What's left to do?

Take me to the King
I don't have much to bring
My heart's torn in pieces
It's my offering

Lay me at the throne
Leave me there alone
To gaze upon Your glory
And sing to You this song
Take me to the King

Truth is it's time
To stop playing these games
We need a word
For the people's pain

(So Lord) speak right now
Let it pour like rain
We're desperate
We're chasing after you

No rules, no religion
I've made my decision
To run to You,
The healer that I need

Take me to the King
I don't have much to bring
My heart's torn to pieces
It's my offering

Lord we're in the way
We keep making mistakes
The glory's not for us
It's all for You

I don't have much to bring
My heart's torn to pieces
It's my offering

Leave me there alone
To gaze upon Your glory
And sing to You this song
Take me to the King

Take me to the King
Take me... to... the King

Hearing this song being sung, absolutely blew my mind... and my heart.

Not only did Chris Blue sing so well, I was happy that he sung about our Lord on that programme that isn't Christian.

Yes, our Lord, Jesus... is the King.

Just as we read, in John 18:37, "Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice."

Pilate asked if Jesus was a King.

Jesus responded saying that he called Him King... and admitted he was born for that purpose and so He came into the world, that He should bear witness unto the truth.  Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice, as He said.

I must admit, hearing this music truly touched my heart, just as I already said.  It made me feel so good thinking about Jesus.

Hopefully, it did the same for you.

For if it did, you know the truth.

Until next time...

Be...

Today, is a day when I do something here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Yes, I realize that every day I write and post a blog entry, just like I'm doing today.

But, I'll be doing something I have done often in the past.

I'll let you know some movies I've watched!  Here are some:

Little Nikita, starring Sidney Poitier, River Phoenix and other actors.  Want to check out this American cult drama film?  If so, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Nikita.  To me, this was an interesting movie, even though there was a lot of sin in it.

Thelma & Louise, starring Susan Sarandon, Geena Davis & Harvey Keitel.  To check out this American road film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thelma_%26_Louise.  It was interesting seeing where they travelled, but I wasn't truly happy watching this movie.

A Man Called Peter, starring Richard Todd and Jean Peters.  Check out this American drama film, by clicking on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Man_Called_Peter.  Even though I enjoyed seeing a pastor preaching on this movie, it was stressful... especially when he died.

Harry & Son, starring Paul Newman, Joanne Woodward and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American drama filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_%26_Son.  This movie touched my heart, with all that happened.

Lucky Luciano, starring Gian Maria Volonte.  If you'd like to check out this American crime drama film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucky_Luciano_(film).  To be honest, I didn't care for this movie, even though I watched it.

Hmmm... did you notice that each of these films' titles quoted people's names?

I did.  This is partly why I decided to share them with you, today.

All these movies were very drama-filled, even though they weren't all called drama films.  There was so much trouble and heartbreak.

Thinking of this, made me think of Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."

We need to let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour and evil speaking be put away from us, with all malice.

The stories all seemed to relate in some ways to verse 31 quoted today, for the Bible verse actually shows what was happening in most of the movies' stories.

However, we truly need to do what we read in verse 32:  Be kind to everyone, tenderhearted, forgiving, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Are people like this in films?  Rarely.

But then, many people in these movies need to do what verse 32 tells us.

Do you think unbelievers of Jesus Christ will do that?

No.  They won't.

How will this happen?

Only those who trust in/believe upon our Lord, Jesus Christ will gain salvation, and become different than before joining His family.

So, my friend, plant those seeds for Christ.

This way, you'll do what God wants us to do.

And, you'll be blessed.

Until next time...

Help!

Once again, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be sharing some information with you that I received by e-mail.

The e-mail message was from the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ).  I decided to share the message with you, so I decided to copy/paste the message so you can read it.  Here it is:

Lynn,

A Christian pastor's fate hangs in the balance. Today we're taking action.

Christian Pastor Hassan languishes in a Sudanese prison - targeted in an anti-Christian crackdown.

He was mercilessly sentenced to 12 years of harsh imprisonment on false charges for crimes against the state - all because he is a Christian living out his faith.

He ministered to someone in need at a conference outside of Sudan, yet Sudan's Islamic National Intelligence Security Service (NISS) targeted him.

We've helped free numerous Christians in Sudan - including other pastors caught up in this blatant case of persecution. Yet Pastor Hassan still awaits his appeal.

Today we're sending a critical legal letter to the U.N. office dedicated to the deplorable human rights situation in Sudan - demanding it take action for Pastor Hassan's freedom.

Time is running short. Pastor Hassan needs you now more than ever.

Sign Our Petition: Free Christian Pastor Hassan Today.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

Thinking about what is happening to Pastor Hassan, is not easy... for anyone.  At least, in my opinion.

However, I believe we truly need to help people.  Especially, when they are being hurt.  Like Pastor Hassan is.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Jeremiah 22:3, "Thus saith the Lord; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place."

Yes, just as our Lord said, we need to execute judgement and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor... and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

Let us help deliver Pastor Hassan out of prison, where he's being held.  Let's do this, without hurting anyone.  After all, he is a member of our Christian church family.

How can you do this?

Well, you can do whatever you can for Pastor Hassan.  Speak up/out.  And, do whatever you feel he needs help with.

But, there is something simple for you to do.

Sign the petition.

I did.  And hopefully, you will also.

If so, we'll be blessed.

Until next time...

If you would like to comment, please e-mail:  lifewithlynnie@gmail.com

To be honest, I feel that what is happening to Pastor Hassan, is so awful.  So, I've signed the petition.

End of Canada...

Even though I'd like to discuss nicer things, there's something I need to share with you, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

As you have seen in the past, here on LwL, I've discussed sinfulness.

Today, I'll be doing the same.  About the same person.

Truly, it makes me cry that Justin Trudeau was elected as our Canadian Prime Minister.  :'(

Why?

He's truly so sinful.  So sinful that I believe he is truly doing everything he can to destroy Canada.

Am I alone in my thinking?

I don't believe so.

Why?

There's an article you need to read.  It was posted by occupydeplorables.com and is entitled, END OF CANADA:  Trudeau Goes Full On Wacko - Offers THIS THIRD GENDER on Passportshttp://occupydeplorables.com/end-of-canada-trudeau-goes-full-on-wacko-offers-this-third-gender-on-passports/#.WRO0e-2OCrQ.facebook.

Please make sure you click on that link, to read the whole article that a friend showed me.  The article was posted on May 10, 2017.

In case you couldn't read it, I decided to share some of what was there (I copied/pasted):

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has promised to enforce the third gender rule on all documents issued by the federal government.

It’s just the latest social engineering from the Liberal government. Bill C-16 is before the Senate this week and is expected to be passed by the Liberal majority in the upper house. The legislation will change the Canadian Human Rights Act and the criminal code, making it illegal to discriminate based on “gender identity or expression.” It will also extend hate speech laws to include these two terms, something free speech advocates in Canada say is another way for the government to muzzle opinions it doesn’t want to hear.

Sigh...

Seeing how Justin Trudeau is sinning, makes me realize that he truly does hate Christians.  If he didn't, he wouldn't change the criminal code, making it illegal to express the reality of sin.

Thinking about how awful Justin Trudeau is, and what he's doing to destroy Canada, made me think about 2 Peter 3:1-3, "This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,"

Just as we read in today's Bible verses, in the last days, scoffers shall come... walking after their own lusts.

Just as what Justin Trudeau is doing.

Justin Trudeau obviously doesn't care what Canadians want.

I believe Justin Trudeau is doing whatever he can, to hurt Canada.  I believe he also wants to make Canada end, just as what was quoted on the article shared with you, here on LwL, today.

What can we do?

At this time... nothing.

Hopefully, in the future, Justin Trudeau won't ever be elected again.

However, if all the sinful people in Canada like him... he may be re-elected.

So, I believe that at this time, all we can do, is pray.

Please, join me in prayer, so that Justin Trudeau's position of being our Canadian Prime Minister will end, by not being re-elected.

Thank you for praying for us Canadians.  Especially for those of us who are truly Christian, who will be persecuted more and more, since Justin Trudeau hates us... and God.

May God bless you.

Until next time...

Open Your Hand...

Hopefully, you don't mind if I talk about something I did, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL).

Well, in the past, I've mentioned getting together with friends for times of having dinner and hearing music, together.

A few weeks ago, on a Wednesday, I met up with a couple of friends at Moose Lodge, here in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.  Yes, we met to attend the 'senior's' dinner.

lol

Please realize that even though there are some people who are considered to be... seniors, there are people in attendance, who aren't seniors.

Yes, this is acceptable there, and at the various legions who serve senior's dinners, as well.  People can be of basically... any age... as long as they don't bring children along with them.

My friends, also brought with them, another friend.  So, the four (4) of us spent time, together at the Moose Lodge.

The lady friend that I met for the first (1st) time, was really nice.  And, she seemed to enjoy singing, since she kept singing to the music being played.

My friend, R... asked me if I was going to sing, there.  I let him know I wouldn't and probably couldn't, due to it not being just a music person sharing on-line music.  I mentioned that I didn't believe a couple playing music, like in a band, would allow that.  So, I didn't.

However, a week ago, on Wednesday, May 10th, I attended a senior's dinner at the Tecumseh Legion.

Even though I know many people who go there, I didn't have a close friend with me.

A couple came and asked if they and the husband's dad could sit with me, at my table.  I welcomed them!

Even though the couple introduced themselves to me, I realized I had already met the husband's dad, on another occasion when I attended there.

Dad's name is... F.

F was in his wheelchair.  I recalled how in the past, he banged into me while riding his wheelchair.  And, spoke to me.

I'm not sure if F recalled that happening, in the past.  I know his son and d-I-l weren't aware of it, for they hadn't been with F, that day.

Together, we enjoyed conversations.  And, of course, a delicious meal.

Afterwards, I was called up to sing.  So, I went and sang.

When I returned, F's family members were very kind to me.  And, F took my hand, and kissed it.

Thinking of this, made me think of Deuteronomy 15:11, "For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land."

Yes, I thought of this Bible verse, mainly due to it talking about opening thy hand, wide unto thy brother...

I realize that Bible verse isn't truly meant for me, regarding my life.  Or, to reflect on having my hand kissed.

However, I must admit... there have been many times when I've felt poor in spirit, and felt unloved, unwanted and needy.  Especially, when being so very much alone, even though I know my Lord, is with me, always.

When F did this, I realized that even though he is many, many years older than me, and is living in a nursing home, he wanted to encourage me.  So, in reality, he did what he felt he could do, to encourage me, in the only way he could.

It made me feel that he wants to do what God would want him to do.

He held His hand open wide, to me.

Thank you, F.  You were truly a blessing.

Do you do, what God wants you to do?

I do what I believe He wants me to do.

If we do what He wants us to do, I believe we will always be blessed.

Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord!

Heritage & Reward!

If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) on Thursday, May 11th, 2017, you'll know that it was a special day.  It was my granddaughter, A's birthday.

I expected to see A that day.  But, didn't.

Something happened that changed me being able to see A.

However, I did get to speak with her.  By phone, I wished her Happy Birthday!

Then, last Saturday, May 13th, 2017, I made my way to visit at my daughter, B's home.  Most of her family members were there.  Plus some of L's family members were there.

In addition, some of my granddaughter, A's friends were also there.  Yes, it seemed they all had a good time!  :)

We also had a lovely meal together!  Thank you, B & L!

Of course, for me, it was truly nice to be able to spend time with family.

Especially, with my granddaughter, A.

Why?

Not just because we gathered together, to celebrate A's birthday.

To me, it was a blessing being with A, because while everyone was having a good time, she came to me and asked me to take her back to Sunday school!

Wow!

I could tell that A truly belonged to the Lord.

Thinking of this, made me think of Psalm 127:3, "Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward."

Yes, my granddaughter, A... truly belongs to the Lord.  And, her heritage is of the Lord!  After all, she wants to make sure she worships.

This truly shows that A is the fruit of the womb, and is His reward.

For this, I praise God!

Hallelujah!

Do It!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll be letting you know about something I received by e-mail.

The e-mail message I received was from the American Center of Law and Justice (ACLJ).  I copied/pasted the message for you to read:

Lynn,

Right now is the most critical time for an imprisoned American pastor.

Just hours ago, I met with President Trump at the White House to discuss the case of Pastor Andrew Brunson - a U.S. citizen - who languishes in a Turkish prison because of his Christian faith.

Pastor Andrew's mom says, "For 23 years, I saw him love and serve the people of Turkey. He has been in prison 7 months, and having visited him there, I have seen the tremendous struggles he is experiencing. I wake every morning with a deep sadness."

The one gift she wants this Mother's Day weekend is the safe return of her beloved son.

At the ACLJ, we're vigorously advocating for Pastor Andrew's freedom. In 3 days, we're submitting a critical legal document to the U.N.

Now with the president of the nation persecuting Pastor Andrew coming to our nation and planning to meet with our President in just days, we must DEMAND his freedom.

The American people must unite with one voice: Bring our pastor home.

Sign Our Urgent Petition: Free American Pastor Andrew Now.

Jay Sekulow
ACLJ Chief Counsel

Yes, I signed the petition.

Please, sign the petition.  Click on the blue link, where it asks you to sign the petition.

Pastor Andrew Brunson truly needs help.  And, you can do it, to help him.

I'm sure if you help Pastor Andrew Brunson, by signing the petition, God will be happy for you..

Much like we read, in Hebrews 13:16, "But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

Yes, we need to do good, and to communicate.  With such sacrifices, God is well pleased.

Today's Bible verse showed it is truly good for you to do good, and remember to communicate.  And, when you do it, God will be pleased.

Hallelujah!

Thank you, Lord!

Happy Mother's Day!

Today, is a day here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)
when I want to wish
women...

Happy Mother's Day!

Women
are
very
important.  Not just to friends
and/or
husbands,
but
especially
to
children...
for
they are
their
Mothers!

Thinking of this, made me think of
Proverbs 31:28,
"Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her."

No matter what the situation is,
make sure you honour your mother...
call her blessed...
just as today's
Bible verse says.
Celebrate this special day
and
wish her...

Happy Mother's Day... Mom!

Until next time...

Hmmm...

Do you have any idea what I'll discuss today, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL)?

Maybe you do have an idea.  Maybe you don't.

In any case, I'll be discussing something I do.  I watch movies!

Here's some movies I've watched:

The Last Detail, starring Jack Nicholson, Randy Quaid and Otis Young.  Would you like to check out this American comedy-drama film?  If so, please click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Detail.  Even though I watched this movie, I must admit, I didn't like the swearing, etc.

Jinxed, starring Bette Midler, Ken Wahl and Rip Torn.  If you'd like to check out this American comedy film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jinxed!_(1982_film).  Even though this was supposed to be comedy, I found it sinful.

*  Fathom, starring Raquel Welch, Anthony Franciosa and Ronald Fraser.  To check out this British spy comedy film, click on this link:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fathom_(film).  Even though I didn't really laugh at this movie, I enjoyed the rescue at the end.

Bus Stop, starring Marilyn Monroe, Don Murray and other actors.  Click on this link, to check out this American romantic comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bus_Stop_(1956_film).  Again, I can say that even though I watched this movie, I didn't laugh.

The Flim-Flam Man, starring George C. Scott, Sue Lyon and Michael Sarrazin.  Feel free to click on this link, to check out this American comedy filmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Flim-Flam_Man.  I feel badly that even though I watched this movie, I can say that I didn't laugh, because I didn't find it funny.

Comedy?

How can people claim some movies are comedy films, when the movies contain various forms of sinfulness.  To me, it's like lying.

Thinking of this, made me think of Colossians 3:9-10, "Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:"

Once we've gained salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, we put off the old man from within us... and have put on the new man, who is much like our Lord... who won't lie.

This means that people can trust me, for what I say, for they will realize that I won't lie to them.

I must admit, this makes me truly thankful.

Thankful to those who realize I speak truth and don't lie.

And, thankful to our Lord, for He changes us from within.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...

Truth... Not Deceit!

In the past, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I mentioned that I lost a friendship.

Just so you know, I wrote this LwL blog entry, quite a while ago, and hadn't posted it.  But, I'm letting you know that I've regained the friendship.

In case you can't recall, I will tell you why the friendship was lost for quite a while.

A friend I've known for about 28 years, stopped wanting to talk with me.  She didn't like the fact that we didn't feel the same about Muslims.

My friend thought that Muslims are okay.  She thought they should be trusted.

I didn't agree.

What did we discuss?

Some things, concerning Islam.  But, mainly Taqiyya/Taqiya had been our conversation that day when we had our final conversation.

What is Taqiyya/Taqiya?

It is what Muslims are taught by their holy teachers.

They are taught that they should not lie to fellow Muslims.  However, it is not only okay for them to lie to infidels (unbelievers of Islam/non-Muslims), but they should!

Here is a link to thereligionofpeace.com article entitled, Taqiyya;  Deception and Lying in Islam:  http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/taqiyya.aspx.

Here is a link to an article by Wikipedia.org entitled, Taqiyahttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taqiya.

If you read both those articles, you'll know that I was correct in my knowledge.

My friend didn't agree.  So, my friend refused to talk with me... anymore.

Did this upset me?

Well, yes... and no.

I must admit that I felt badly that I lost the friendship I had, for so many years.  However, I also felt that I didn't need to be upset with my friend.

Why?

She had never learned about Islam.

Even though she knew I had taken courses... and gotten to know several people who had been Muslim, before converting to Christianity, it didn't seem to matter to her.

So, this showed me that she wasn't liking to hear truth.  Even though God wants us to speak truth.

Just as we read, in Proverbs 12:17, "He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit."

Yes, he that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness:  but a false witness deceit.

I was not deceitful.  I actually showed the righteousness I have from our Lord, by speaking truth.

I want you to know I have forgiven my friend.  Even though she was hurtful to me.

However, I will never stop praying for her.  Or, for anyone who doesn't want to understand the truth about Islam.

Please join me in prayer.  Thank you.

May God bless you.

Until next time...

H.B. A! & Christians Attacked...

Before I begin today's Life with Lynnie (LwL) entry, I want to wish my granddaughter, A... Happy Birthday!  I'm looking forward to seeing you, and celebrating, A!  Happy Birthday!

There's something I feel I need to mention, here on LwL.

It has to do with what I saw on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation - television station), on Good Friday, April 14th, 2017.

Yes, I had watched some of the news being broadcasted.  And, I was surprised when something was discussed.

I tried to find the link for the article discussed, but online, I couldn't find it, even though I searched, searched and searched.

Hmmm...

It made me think that the video shown wasn't something they really wanted people to be able to see, other than during the time when news was broadcasted.

What was discussed?

Christians are being attacked.

Yes, that's what it was.

During the article shown, it was discussed about how in Islamic countries, Christians were being attacked, etc.  Yes, murdered, and more.

Wow!  Talk about terrorism!

It truly touched my heart that this was discussed.

Why?  Because, many people have been trying to tell people in the world this is happening.  Just as I've been doing.

However, due to our Canadian government taking away some of our Freedom, by removing our Freedom of Speech, the person who was discussing the issue, never said that it was Muslims doing the attacking, murdering, etc., even though the person talking quoted many Islamic countries, and visions were seen that it truly was done by Muslims.

How sickening it is to me, that many people are no longer speaking truth about Islam.  And, what Muslims do, because they are taught to do it.

After all, our Canadian government doesn't want us to speak truth about what Muslims are doing.  And, neither do Muslims, for they truly do not want people to know the truth.

Even so, I refuse to feel like I want to attack, in response.  Why?  I don't want to.

I want to do what God told us to do.

Just as we read, in Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."

As He told us, dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather, give place unto wrath:  for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Believe me when I say I praise God for letting us know that Vengeance is His, and not ours.

I don't want people to think I am hateful.  I'm not.

I want people to understand truth about what is happening in our world, at this time.

Yes, I believe we are in end times.  So, our lives will be stressed.  And, we will be attacked by many, both physically and emotionally.

Not just possibly as Canadians.  But, for everyone in the world, who is not Islamic, for Islam teaches every/all Muslims that they are to convert every infidel (unbeliever of Islam), to become Islamic, peaceably, if possible.  If people do not do this, then they have the right to cut off our heads... meaning... kill us unbelievers of Islam.

However, being Christian, I know God provided for me, to spend eternity with Him, when my life ends, here on earth.

For this, I am truly thankful!  Thank You, Lord!

Hmmm... are you able to spend eternity with God, when your life ends, here on earth?

If so, you'll spend eternity in Heaven.  Just as I will.

If not, you'll spend eternity in Hell, separated from God with no chance of escape.

Please, gain salvation by trusting in/believing upon our Lord, Jesus Christ, to gain salvation (Acts 16:31).  Do it today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
