WSIB Lawsuit? Wow!

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), there's something I need to say.

Praise God!  Hallelujah!

A posting was made on the Unifor Local 195 Injured Workers Support Group page on Facebook (FB).

The posting truly touched my heart!  As I'm sure you can tell.

The article posted was by manitoulin.ca and is entitled, Lawsuit against WSIB 'a landmark ruling,' Injured Workers Group.  Click on this link to read it:  http://www.manitoulin.ca/2017/02/24/lawsuit-wsib-landmark-ruling-injured-workers-group/.

If you read the beginning of the article, you'll know that it said (I copied/pasted):

The local president of the Manitoulin-North Shore Injured Workers Group (MNSIWG) calls a class action suit being launched (and having been given the go ahead by a court of appeal) against the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) a landmark ruling. The lawsuit claiming unfair benefit cuts imposed on a Brampton man could potentially impact hundreds of workers allegedly denied “full extent of benefits to which they were entitled.”

At the end of the article it said (I copied/pasted):

“Lets hope all of  these leads to a Royal Commission investigation to decide what the board’s rights and methods are and should be,” stated Mr. Hrytsak. “It is certainly going to be interesting.”

To be honest, this truly made me happy.

Why?

Because, I never heard that anyone could sue the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), that in the past was called Workers Compensation (WC).  Especially, since lawyers had always told anyone who had asked about it, that it was not able to be done.

You may wonder why I am happy there is a class action law suit being launched.

My feelings on this issue, is because it seems to me that injured workers are not truly and completely supported.

Some people think that injured workers are supported financially, and medically by WSIB.  But, this is not true.

How do I know this?

Well, I have not received what I have needed.  And, I know of others who have been treated the same way.

In fact, almost everyone I've met who is an injured worker, suffers big time... by what WSIB does.  And, always will.

To me, WSIB is truly wicked to injured workers.

Thinking of this, made me think about Psalm 7:11, "God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day."

Me, and anyone else who belongs to God, is righteous.  God will judgeth the righteous, but not in a way where we suffer, because God is not angry with us.

However, God is angry with the wicked, every day.  Just as we read in today's Bible verse.

Please know that because God is angry with the wicked, they will truly suffer.  Maybe not while they are alive, here on earth.  But, they will for sure, once their lives have ended, here on earth.

How will they suffer?  They will suffer through God's wrath.  His anger.

To be honest, I pray for anyone/everyone who works for WSIB.  I actually wonder how they can even sleep at night.

After all, they are hurting those who have been injured while working.  And, God will deal with them.

I want you to know, I pray.

Not just for those who work and hurt injured workers.

I also pray that the class action law suit will be sufficient in helping injured workers.

Hopefully, you will, also.

If so, I thank you.

May God bless you.

Until next time...
