If you read Life with Lynnie (LwL) yesterday, you'll know that I addressed the issue of singing.

I'll be doing that again, today!

Well, if you've read LwL for a while, you'll know that I get invited to women's church group meetings by a couple of my friends/sisters in the Lord.  And, I was invited, again.

So, on Tuesday, April 18th, I attended the women's meeting.

Oh, I should let you know that prior to attending, my friend who is the leader of the group, had contacted me.  D, let me know that she wanted me to sing at the meeting.

Usually, when I attend, D asks me to help lead the singing, usually with another woman.  You see, D plays the music, on the piano.

However, when she asked me to sing at the meeting scheduled for last Tuesday, she asked me to sing solo.  A capella... meaning without any music.

I've done this in the past at various group meetings and celebrations, so I agreed to do so.

And, I did.

I must admit, I enjoyed singing.  Not just because I adore singing.

But, mainly because when I sing, I am honouring our Lord.  I praise Him.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Psalm 104:33, "I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being."

I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live.

I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

And, always will.

For this way, I can feel good in my heart, not just by singing... but, also for blessing Him by doing what He wants us to do.

Even though He blesses me.

Do you do this?

I hope you do.

For by honouring and praising Him, you'll be blessed.

Just as I have been.

Thank You, Lord!

Until next time...
