Honour...

Here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), I'll let you know what I did last Friday.

Yes, it was Good Friday.

I believe you probably know that I went to a worship service.  Yes, I did!

It was shocking to me when I arrived to park at the church group's building.  There was very many vehicles!

When I went to find a seat at a pew, another woman and I spoke for a second.  We both decided to sit beside each other at the back of the sanctuary.

I must admit, the sanctuary was truly packed with people!  Far more than I had ever seen, even though I had been there a few times in the past.

When I read the information regarding the worship service, I realized that there were several other groups of brothers and sisters in the Lord, who worship at other church group buildings.  Wow!  It was truly amazing.

When the lady beside me and I spoke, I realized that she was from one of the other church groups, who were worshipping there.  We spoke about that for a few minutes.

I must admit, the worship service was very nice.

It was nice seeing some people there, that I know, personally.  Plus, it was nice seeing others, like the woman who sat beside me.

We were all there to honour our Lord.

Thinking of this, brought to mind, Proverbs 3:9, "Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:"

Yes, we need to honour our Lord, with everything inside of us, and with any firstfruits of all our increase.

After all, our Lord, Jesus Christ, did all for us.

He gave His own life here on earth, to pay the price for the sin of the world, of all who will believe upon Him.

Jesus did this, so that He could fulfill God our Father's plan of redemption for us.  By doing so, we received a way we could obtain salvation.

I've gained salvation.

Have you?

If you're not sure or if you haven't yet, please come to Christ, today.

Tomorrow may be too late.

Until next time...
