His Pen...

Like I've said in the past, here on Life with Lynnie (LwL), today is the day when we need to worship.  It's SONday!

Yes, we need to worship God!

Since it's our Lord's Day, and since I usually mention that in addition to worshipping God on a normal basis, I will share with you some music.

Quite often, I've shared hymns.  Sometimes, I've shared a chorus.  Once in a while, I've shared songs that aren't Christian, but come across to me as referring to God.

However, today will be a bit different, because you'll be able to hear a Facebook (FB) friend of mine, sing!

The singer is my friend, Minister Joe Souza.  A while ago, after people enjoyed his music, he went onto YouTube and made some postings.

So today, I'll share with you some music I heard him sing.  It's music I've never before heard, but enjoyed.

The name of the song is listed variously, when I googled it, but Joe entitled it, God's Pen.  Here is a link for you to listen to and/or sing along: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phOHyu6i1nc&feature=share .  The lyrics are below.

God's Pen

When God dips His pen of love in my heart
And He writes my soul a message He wants me to know
His spirit all divine fills this sinful soul of mine

Hallelujah... when God dips His pen of love in my heart

Well I said I wouldn't tell it to a livin' soul
How He brought salvation when He made me whole
But I found I couldn't hide such love as Jesus did impart

Don't you know...
Because it makes me laugh and then it makes me cry, sets my sinful soul on fire
Hallelujah... When God dips His pen of love in my heart

Sometimes when my way seems dreary, dark and cold
And some misguided fortune keeps me from my goal
I go to Christ in prayer, I can always find Him there
He whispers sweet peace right to my soul

And I said I wouldn't tell it to a livin' soul
How He brought salvation when He made me whole
But I found I couldn't hide such love as Jesus did impart

Don't you know...
Because it makes me laugh and then it makes me cry, sets my sinful soul on fire
Hallelujah... When God dips His pen of love in my heart

He walked every step of Calvary's rugged way
And He gave His life completely to bring a better day
My soul was lost in sin but in love He took me in
His blood washed all my sins away

And I said I wouldn't tell it to a livin' soul
How He brought salvation when He made me whole
But I found I couldn't hide such love as Jesus did impart

Don't you know...
Cause it makes me laugh and then it makes me cry, sets my sinful soul on fire
Hallelujah... when God dips His pen of love in my heart

Well I said I wouldn't tell it to a livin' soul
How He brought salvation when He made me whole
But I found I couldn't hide such love as Jesus did impart

Hey, don't you know...
Because it makes me laugh and then it makes me cry, sets my sinful soul on fire
Hallelujah... When God dips His pen of love in my heart

Yes when God dips His pen of love in my heart

I must admit, I truly adored this music.

Why?

Because the lyrics truly told us about God's love for us.

Thinking of this, made me think of Jeremiah 31:3, "The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

Hallelujah!

He has everlasting love for us!  And, therefore with His loving kindness, He drew us to Him!

My friend, if you haven't yet come to Christ, to gain salvation, please... do so today.

Tomorrow, may be too late.

Until next time...
